Are you kidding me? I didn't. It's like being victimized twice. But ultimately they make the rules. The only thing we can do is ensure that we aren't victimized again by doing our research before joining any of these work at home companies. Scams like this are easily avoided 99.9% of the time when we do the research beforehand. So just consider it a lesson learned. I definitely think it sucks when Banks penalize the victims. I have been through the same thing, but i wasn't smart enough to open a separate account and my bank shut it down, saying the check was a fraud. In a few days i will receive a letter from the bank with all details. I think shutting it down was a bit drastic, since it wasn't my fault, they said i cannot be their costumer anymore, which i think is stupid. Instead of working with me to chase this people down, they make me pay the consequences. Was the company called Nicor services?
