Jill,

Don't do it to yourself. First off, I rarely trust any advertisements online especially when it comes to making money. You should treat them like TV commercials which is with a healthy skepticism or flat out ignore them.

When I'm on clixsense, I'm there to make my money. Most of the advertisers are promoting garbage. That being said it's good you did your research. But as I've said in my scam video if what you're reading is causing you to doubt the legitimacy of the company, there is absolutely no reason to risk it. I don't care if it's a dollar trial. Anyone that has read some of the scams on my scam page knows that's a common ploy for forced continuity where they pop up some other additional higher fees in a few days.

Don't let desperation or the desire for fast money blind you from your common sense. Always follow your gut in this situation. Focus on opportunities that are proven and have balanced feedback. No opportunity is perfect. Once I hear totally glowing reviews with no negative feedback, I know it's garbage and just the members PURELY pushing it to get paid.

You'll notice even when I write reviews about companies I like, I'll stil mention the cons because every company has them and one should be aware of them before joining. So my suggestion is to pass. But do what you feel is best. Be careful with your need for fast, easy income. That's a recipe for being victimized in this industry.

Jessica,

I totally applaud your excitement. I also appreciate that you're taking a lot of time to read through the material. So great job. However you're trying to run before you've even learned to crawl with this affiliate marketing thing. If you're serious about this then you need to see your training as an investment not an expense although for tax purposes it will be. lol

Slapping up a free website and throwing on a product isn't going to make you any money. Without knowing how to get traffic and the techniques to market, you're just one of millions of people that do the same thing and don't see a dime. So many would be affiliates do the same thing every day usually after reading one of my articles but soon realize it's not that simple. So my suggestion is to try some of the non-traditional opportunities or get a few writing jobs (many of which we add here daily:
www.workathomenoscams.com/jobs) Take the money you earn from that and invest in some training. Then consider creating a website, finding a niche, etc and all the stuff that sites like WA teaches you.

Understanding the general concept is easy especially when I give the type of examples I do. But applying it is a whole other ball game. Going it alone isn't suggested. It takes a lot longer and you end making mistakes that could have been avoided. Been there and done that and I don't suggest it for others. I'm vehement about training not so much for the commission but more so because I know it's what helped me succeed. I also know if I would have taken the advice I'm giving you know earlier, I would probably be a billionaire or millionaire by now. lol

So your intentions are great, but I wouldn't suggest approaching it the way you're suggesting. Focus on a writing job or some of the non-traditional stuff first. Then re-invest that money back into your own training.

Good luck.

Hi Eddy,
I recently stumbled upon your website because I am searching for at home part time work to supplement my full time job. I am in my mid 20's and figured it's never a bad time to start planning for the future. I work as a retail assistant manager and for now I have room for growth and I enjoy it, but what about when I'm 40 or 50. I can't keep working those late nights dealing with high school kids that don't want to work on Saturday nights. Plus I want to be able to have my own bakery one day. I don't mind working, but I'll be the boss and can really customize the experience I want every customer to have. This is one of the many reasons why I have started to do research and learn about being an affiliate.

This last year has been a financial stress for me; who hasn't been financially stressed for the last year. You, I guess..lol. I have gained so much knowledge from you site in just the two days I have been visiting ( I tend to read til I get information overload..lol). I have checked out many of your recommended non traditional work at home suggestions and have realized that for me my time is better spent doing research to be an affiliate. I have also applied for some writing positions as well. I think that's more of my thing. I completely understand that this is going to take time, so why not start now. I at least have a job to sustain me while I learn on my free time. I unfortunately don't have the money to drop every month for WA just yet, considering I came to the internet to make money, not spend it. I figured I would learn what I can and get my feet wet and then build from there as I go along eventually leading me to join WA. Do you think there is any harm in posting a website just as a starter to get it out there with one product at least?

Just as you are, I am more of a visual learner. I can read and process the information, but prefer to do something hands on or see it. I would like to dabble in product affiliate marketing. I believe I understand the basic concept, mostly from your dog spray reference, but would like to see what an affiliate website looks like. I have probably seen one over the years, but never knew I was looking at one. Can you provide the address to one of your websites or a popular one that you know? They always say to imitate those that are successful. Are there any free sites that you recommend for training or tools? I saw a few of them in your articles and have taken note of them. And yes I do read your articles all the way through...lol. I just haven't gotten to them all yet.

Do you need multiple websites to promote different products/companies? And will I need a tax ID number for tax purposes and declaring myself as a business? I know these questions may be a long way off, but I want to know what I am getting into. I have a general understanding about this from being an independent contractor as a childrens theater actor. I started a blog a few years back in hopes that I can generate traffic and make money off the ads, but I wasn't financially stable to invest my time into promoting the blog or did I know how to make a professional looking website. Upon starting this blog, I did a lot of research about marketing and starting a business, so that's where most of my knowledge comes from. Even now I have concerns about making a website, let alone making it look professional or even posting banners etc. to it, but I have the patience and the willingness to learn how to do all those things that I didn't have then. Any advice other than all the great knowledge you have given would be greatly appreciated. I will continue to check back and learn more everyday.

I still might have to get a regular part time job in the meantime :( lol but I gotta do what I gotta do.

Thanks for sharing your blessings with us. It's great knowing that we have someone who we can ask questions to to help build our knowledge for success. Not many would share info like this for free obviously with all the scams and "scams" that are out there. I hope that one day I can bless others when I have been blessed with success.

Jessica

P.S.
Do you know any good websites that can tell you whats a good niche market to get into? I have a few passions that I know I will get excited about, but that doesn't mean they will make a good affiliate program. I don't want to do something that is destined for failure. Thanks.

You're welcome Candice. I'm confident if you take the time to really read the website and the comments, you're going to learn a lot and do very well working at home. It's a lot of reading but it pays off for the people that are serious about working at home and put the effort to absorb the information and run with it. Good luck to you and God bless!

Hey Candice,

You're welcome. I'm so sorry to hear how often and bad you've been scammed the last couple of years. I wish you would have found our site sooner.

In terms of your question, you need to read the following article which I specifically designed for such questions: http://www.workathomenoscams.com/2010/11/02/what-work-from-home-job-pays-the-most/

Once you've read that then I suggest you start searching our job page daily:
www.workathomenoscams.com/jobs which is updated regularly with pre-screened work at home jobs. You should be able to land something in the next few weeks or months assuming you have the skills that are in demand.

In the mean time you can start making some money right now with my non-traditional work at home opportunities via my recommendations page:
www.workathomenoscams.com/recommendations It won't be a lot but it's a start. Furthermore when combined together this can make you some decent money as recently illustrated by one of my loyal subscribers here:
http://www.workathomenoscams.com/2010/12/02/weekly-work-at-home-recap-1232010/#comment-106827198

At the end of the day everything you need to succeed is already on this site. In addition to the pages above I suggest you read our work at home guide as well:
www.workathomenoscams.com/workathomeguide If you keep focused on the resources we provide here you will find success and probably avoid any more scams.

Hope this helps. Good luck.
