Hey Lynn,
I'm glad you stumbled on our site. Sometimes we have to go through some bumpy roads before we reach our happy destination. Sounds like that's basically what you've been on. You have to just view these things as learning experiences. Most of us have been scammed in this industry. How you react to this is ultimately what will determine if you'll be successful or not.

But it seems like you have learned from your experience and now have the scam spiddy instincts we develop after being screwed. As long as being a victim doesn't make you jaded and you push forward you will have success. Too often we run into people that have been scammed and now they're on a rampage. They think everyone and everything is a scam. As such when they do actually find sites like this that can help them they dismiss it and continue to scour the web complaining and not making money.

But that's not the case with you and you'll see success because of it! In either case,
thanks for chiming in. I encourage you to visit the following pages to get started in the right direction:
www.workathomenoscams.com/recommendations
www.workathomenoscams.com/jobs
www.workathomenoscams.com/workathomeguide

Everything you need to get back on the right track is on those pages. As long as you're willing to read and take action, you'll start seeing some money. It won't be a lot but it will be better than making none as most people do in this industry. Take care and thanks for chiming in. I appreciate it and you!

Thanks Eddy,

I found your site by accident. I was doing a little research on a particular
work at home job. I wish I had done this
about 8 months ago. I bought into a
program where they were going to teach me to be a medical biller. HA!
They were also supposed to provide me doctors to bill for. Yeah Right!
They gave the so-called training, and after that I did receive a list of
3 doctors that were currently insurance billing by hand. I sent the letters I was suppose to and all that
crap. NO RESPONSE! I have gone through 3 different lists of 3
doctors each. I kept thinking this was
legit or else they would have become unavailable to me by now. Right?
Well I guess I keep holding out hope for this, I mean I shelled out
$300.00 for the software. And I was
working at the time. I've since lost my
job and there are no others in site. (I
live in a very rural area) So, I hate to say it, but to give up hope, would be
so dang depressing. So although I know
it probably won't work out like they said it would, I do hope it does. But I also keep looking for something else
that I can do from home. Not putting all
my eggs in one basket as they say. But
anyways, what I was really getting at. I
had also paid some fees to learn how to be an affiliate marketer. They claimed it was sooooo easy. Yeah Right!.
They all left me high and dry when it came to building my own websites. which I have no clue how to do. And I get sooo many calls wanting to sell me
similar programs for more money, some of them wanting thousands. I have even gotten to the point that if I do
answer the phone, I tell them right up front, there is no money to invest. They just keep going on. lol
One even told me to go to a couple of sites to apply for credit to use
to make money. I'm getting a little
smarter and just laughed this one off. I
know there are places that could really help in this area, like the one you one you recommend, but at this point there
is nothing left to gamble with. So I do
appreciate you showing how to make some money for nothing, to invest in
something that could make more. I have
not tried it, but I'm on my way to give it a shot. I just wanted to let you know, I appreciate
your input. I don't usually leave
comments, but I just had to on this one.
Thanks.
Lynn

Eddy:

I just finished watching your 1st video on "How to Spot A Scam". It was the information I was looking for.

I've been thinking of signing up with a company that I thought was legit. I checked Google and sure enough there were complaints about the company - Advanced Billing Network. I also checked with Better Business Bureau and they know about the company and advise that they are a bad risk.

Thanks again and is it possible to email me the other videos about recognizing scams.

Colleen,

Thanks for reminding me about the trick using the keyword "review". I totally forgot to mention in my video above. So everyone in addition to the scam keyword technique I mentioned in the video, please follow Colleen's advice and do the same search with the keyword review.

But a warning about that technique though, there are some shady affiliate marketers that create fake reviews. So keep in mind what I said in the video in terms of looking for patterns. If one review is saying that a given opportunity is the best thing since sliced bread but all your other research says it's a dud then that pretty much tells you all that you need to know.

Colleen, thanks for the additional tip.

Every day I receive countless emails about how I can get rich in 24 hours or make $5000 a week and so on and so forth.
Most of the emails I do a read over and delete.
If I receive an email for an opportunity which I have not heard about, well the first thing I do is type ("name of opportunity" scam) in my favorite search engine and see what comes up.
If nothing comes up, then I try ("name of opportunity" review) to see if anything comes up.
90% of the time I am discovering unfavorable reports and reviews on opportunities which I had not heard about until it arrived in my email.
So many people are being duped out of money they cannot afford to waste.
You can prevent this from happening to you by practicing due diligence in your opportunity scam research!
