Thanks for sharing your story. It’s always sad to hear when someone falls victim to this. The bright spot is you’ve been lead to this site where you can find legitimate work at home jobs and options. So something good did come of it.

Thanks for sharing. The company does sound vaguely familiar. At the end of the day it doesn’t really matter what the company name is because scammers are smart enough to use real legitimate company’s name to throw you off. All you need to do is look at what the company is asking you to do. If it involves accepting packages and then reshipping them somewhere else, that’s pretty much all you need to know as a huge red flag. Everything else is meaningless at that point.

My brother just got an email from a company named US Forwarding. Which is Shipping and Receiving. When I first heard about it, I kind of already felt it was a scam, he continued to tell me more about and it sounds a lot like what you mentioned above…also no W- 2 was needed or anything. That really threw up a red flag! I could not find this company thru BBB and I called the number and it is answering service. They are stationed out of New York, NY. usforwarding.net and the number is 347-674-3995. I just wanted to put the word out there, look like another scam company, trying to get over on folks that are looking for honest work in the messed up economy. Have you ever heard of this company Eddy?

Better question, does the job description or anything you’ve been doing sound like the many versions of this scam that have been listed here by others or was clearly described in the article above? If you’re questioning it, then you probably already know the answer.

hello, my name is michael faison and I have been looking for a legit job for months. I received a email and a agreement to fill out and fax back to the company for approvement into the company. They say that I will be paid 20 dollars per package I send off, and that they will start me off with 4 to 5 packages a week.I already sent off the agreeement. should I go to better business and check them out. don’t want to get caught up. Thanks….The name of the company is International Shipping Express inc.

Hi Annie and Morgan, my mother totally fell for this one! It sounded too good to be true so I even told her to forget it but she said there wouldn’t be any harm in checking it out. I also thought the deleting your craigslisting part was suspicious and strange. Anyway, then I told her after she even replied back to them, not to e-mail them anymore.
