If you can also include the email you received, that would be great. A lot of the scam artist are referencing legitimate companies in their emails. This is so that you put your guards down. But you were smart. Once they started mentioning check cashing or wire transferring you already knew it was a scam. Good use of common sense William!

Here’s a new scam I got in my spam box–”Honeywell International Inc.”–101 Columbia Rd. Morristown NJ., 07962–Apart from using the well respected “Honeywell” name which has been around for decades, this is the same old wire/transfer/postal money order/forwarding game. I got this in spam–I might be wrong and doing these people a dis-service, but better safe than sorry.

You don’t have to promote any more if you don’t want to they have a program now called EyeEarn and long as you a member of that gateway you will get singups assigned to you. Join EyeEarn and all you have to do is a survey every month.

Glad to help. SFI has been around for a very long time and one of the first work at home companies I got involved in. They had a good standing with the BBB. I think I may still be a member but don’t actively promote it anymore. But in the early 90s they were the company to work with. I’m not sure if that’s still the case though.

These list are totally unnecessary. There are great free sites like http://www.SurveyFavs.com We’ve also provided our top lists of legitimate surveys here:

She should just contact her credit card company to reverse the charges if this company won’t do the right thing and honor a refund. It’s that simple.

That would be another great way of fighting against companies like this.

You should have your sister read our work at home guide since she is young and doesn’t really understand this industry like most people. She’ll learn a lot:
