I have no clue since the number of ads vary. But it's damn near impossible to earn $200 per week without an upgrade or referrals. For that type of money you're better off with a job: www.workathomenoscams.com/jobs or some of these other top 10 ways to make money fast:

Samuel, no the ads range between 1 cent and 5 dollars (although I think the highest I've ever seen has been 10-cents). That is a good catch because there are a lot of PTC sites that have their clicks worth only a few fractions of a cent. With those sites it is very difficult to make any money without any references, esp. if the payout threshold is even a "low" $5. With those sites, either join when you have created a network of people or a good website to draw in new referrals. Or like Eddy said, just have the mindset that although it isn't much money, it still is more than what you'd get surfing the web on your own (or even watching ads on TV).

One more thing to note that your question raised.... When you check out PTC sites and what they pay to view ads, keep in mind that the less you get usually correlates to the value of the product. On the low end you have sites like TheClickers that offer a fraction of a cent per view. Although they may show more ads per day, you still won't make much money, and the products being advertised tend to be lower quality. You end up seeing many ads for other PTC sites and fewer ads for sites with physical products for sale. Because of this, these sites tend to act more like traffic exchanges rather than true sites to make any serious money. On the upper end of the spectrum you have PTC sites like YouData (see Eddy's article: http://www.workathomenoscams.com/2009/05/11/get-paid-to-view-ads-youdatacom/). There they pay multiples of a cent (I think the lowest is 10 cents per view), so you get more money, but along with the higher view-rates, there are some other differences too. The number of ads is usually less (I tend to average about 1 per week, though from reading their site I think I'm just not in the right demographic to really earn much from them), and the value of the products / sites tend to be higher as well. The websites YouData directs me to usually are something that I find interesting and am more likely to make a purchase. ClixSense is a good middle-ground site. You do get a lot of ads for other PTC sites and as such many people use it more like a traffic exchange, using their earnings to promote their own referral links. But you can also get more serious advertisers as well that will offer an actual item for sale.

Here's a better question. How much money are you making right now clicking on the ads that you do or any money online? If it's more than the change in your couch, please carry on. You're doing better than most. But like I said above, if this isn't for you, you can always focus on traditional jobs: www.workathomenoscams.com/jobs

There are a lot of folks that can appreciate earning some type of money at home coupled with other opportunities than not making any.
In any event, thanks for sharing your opinion.

Did I read that correctly? .01 cents? 1/10th of a cent? Even at 300 ads a day, at that rate you'd be better off couch fishing...

So i joined clixsense, i will not be investing in a upgraded membership. I have read that after you upgrade you get like 500 ads so you get about 5 dollars immediatly back on your 10 dollar investment. Then the ads go back to normal, which is about 10-15 ads a day if you continuesly check throughout the day. I would reccomend upgrading IF you are going to try to recruit people, via banners and links to up your referal income. The only real drawback to this site is the awful 3 dollar check prosessing fee. So if you do decide to join clixsense then make sure you change your withdrawl amount to 20 dollars. so you dont pay the fee again and again, and if your making good money increase it even more. Without referals and just clicking everyday you will make 10-15c a day. $36.50-$54.75 a year. If you want to make more and make it more serious upgrade. For me personally, im just gonna add it to one of the many sites and just take it for what it is without investing in it. Get in my clicks everyday like i do with every other site and get what ever they give me without wasting to much time on it. I like sites like these because you dont have to do anything but click and when you get 20+ of them going all at once it rains small checks for like a month or two and then you remember why you joined and clicked everyday. You can still earn referal cash without upgrading, thats a huge plus as well!

Thanks for the great info on Clixsense. I like Youdata and Points4Rewards sites already and I'm sure I will like this one as well. Gonna go ahead and signup and hope I make some money from this one.

Also I'm gonna bookmark your article "Free Affiliate Marketing (PTC) Course". I need all the help I can get.

Will also check out the rest of your site. Glad I found it!

Hi Shadow,

I'm glad you can see the opportunity in this. It's not a lot of money but it's easy money to make while you're doing other things. So you have a great attitude about it.
You can also find more traditional work at home jobs here: www.workathomenoscams.com/jobs to supplement whatever you make with clixsense. Good luck.
