We are seeking a Linux technical support person that wants the ability to work from home. The Linux/VOIP Technical support position hours will be (8am - 5pm PST) although initial training will be at night (8pm - 1am PST).

If you have VOIP experience, that is a plus, if not, we will train.

Your primary responsibilities will be monitoring our customer support queue, replying to customer help requests and maintaining customer and company servers.

I need up to three writers for a short-term (3-4 months) assignment for a client of mine. The job entails writing five articles per day (roughly 500-800 words each), five days a week, over that period. The articles will involve some Internet research and require you to include keywords and client messaging.

That's the basic description; the reality is this: You've got to be an experienced, professional writer who just happens to have a big block of time available every day for the next few months. This is not a second job or an easy side gig; it will probably take you 5-8 hours a day. It's a grind-it-out-every-day deal, but it pays really well.
If you can commit - really commit, not just until something else comes along - can turn out solid, interesting, error-free copy and are freakishly dependable, this might be for you.

As part the support team you will be responding to clients with questions and technical problems that may occur with their web based support tools. You will respond to online trouble tickets, field customer calls and inquiries, and troubleshoot with clients to isolate problems and walk-through corrective measures. You will actively work as a point person of communication for clients and internal teams for information on both our product and our customer base.

DUTIES:

• Respond to, troubleshoot, and route tickets for the client base under contracted Service Level agreements
• Answer telephone questions and inquiries for customers
• Work closely with all other teams to exchange knowledge and expertise
• Assist teammates and supervisor in the identification of common issues, high priority issues, and places for improvement within the organization
• Identify knowledge base appropriate material and generate draft content for the self service content group
• Present key information during weekly departmental meetings
• Identify and submit feedback on needed product improvements
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify problems
• Complete side projects assigned by supervisor as time permits

CBO Financial is seeking external reviewer(s) to assist in the 2012 New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) application process. The NMTC Program allocates tax credit authority to Community Development Entities (CDEs), which in turn make investments in a variety of businesses and activities in low-income communities across the United States.

Reviewer(s) will be expected to evaluate each application twice. There will be an initial review of the CDE's 2011 submittal, and then a secondary review after comments have been incorporated and the application has been updated.

The Reviewer(s) will evaluate the applications using past NMTC application review criteria, including such factors as prior performance of the applicant in funding eligible activities; raising and managing investor funds; capacity, skills, and experience of the management team; proposed deployment of allocated tax credit authority; and community impact of the expected investments. Reviewers will then submit their comments and offer suggestions for improvement to CBO Financial.

It is estimated the reviewer will have in total 4-7 separate applications to review prior to the 2012 NMTC deadline (to be determined, estimated late summer 2012). If application volume is higher than expected, some reviewers may be asked to review additional applications.
