In this day and age most of us wouldn't be caught dead without our smartphones. Have you had the misfortune of forgetting your smartphone at home? I don't know about you but I go through withdrawals and I start getting the shakes without mine. Yes it's that serious! For better or worse, our smart phones are a part of us. They better be because they're expensive. But what if we can make our smartphone addiction into money? Well now you can. I'll discuss how in my GigWalk Review. If you've read my Tap Booty (snicker here) review and liked it, you'll probably like the Gig Walk App & Jobs.
So What Is GigWalk?
Gig Walk would be the offspring of Amazon Mechanical Turk & an App if they met one day, got married and had children. Or in today's world if the two hooked up one night and had an “Accident”. lol In other words it's is a mobile app that pays you to do little tasks or gigs based on your smartphone's location. The folks that do these little jobs are called Gig Walkers.

The Gig Walk jobs or gigs pay Gig Walkers anywhere from $3 to $100 depending on the complexity of the gig or job.

Fortunately like one of my favorite other opportunities Instagc, Gig Walk tends to pay their Gig Walkers very quickly within 24 hours via paypal. Sometimes it's actually a lot faster.

Gig Walk Complaints
Ok now it's time for our favorite part of the show where I keep it real with you and reveal some of the things you may not like about this opportunity. Some folks take issue to this but if you've been here long enough, you know I don't care about those folks. It's always good to know the pros and cons of a company so you can make an informed decision. Every company will have some things that bother people so it's just better to know this stuff up front. It doesn't mean it's a bad company or scam. So with that said, here are some things that may rub you the wrong way.
1. Limited Payment Option
I love Paypal and have always received payments from them with no issues. But some folks don't like Paypal or can't get an account because of their location. Unfortunately you won't be able to make money with Gig Walk if you don't have an account since they don't offer any other options such as checks or direct deposits.
2. Limited Income Potential
The potential money you make with Gig Walk will depend on your location because Gigs are only made available if you happen to be near stores that work with Gig Walk. If you live in a rural area where you're rarely near a lot of big name brand stores, you won't really make money with this. But if you happen to live in a busy city or suburb you're more likely to have stores where Gigs will be available.
3. Stalk Much?
The whole premise of this opportunity is using your smartphone's GPS location to find stores near you where you can get paid to do these gigs. A lot of folks are very concerned or paranoid about their privacy. So an app that is monitoring that is going to freak folks out. But in this day in age, one way or another you are being tracked unless you don't have a phone, don't use the internet and live in the middle of nowhere. So Big brother has been watching. Either way this may be a concern for certain people and may not be worth the money you make.
4. Application please…
Apparently you need to apply for gigs and be approved for them before you can start. Once you are approved and submit your work, you'll need to have that approved as well. With some task websites and their jobs you can start right away. But with this opportunity you'll need to be approved for everything so that might be a turn off but I understand how it maintains the quality that companies are looking for. Let's face it some people will half ass it or try to game the system. So this process is probably in place to prevent that nonsense.
5. Sharing is not Caring…
As all of you know I get paid to share legitimate opportunities like this with you. It's a great way to make money because everyone wins. Although some haters will have you believe it's a bad thing to get paid to refer people to websites that may help them. However usually those folks tend to be bitter and probably don't make money either. But I digress. Gig Walk doesn't offer an referral program which is sad because other successful apps such as Ibotta. Having a referral programs usually helps companies reach even more people and make more money. So I think it's unfortunate they don't have a referral program because it will help them grow their program and fatten our pockets as well. Sigh…
So as you can see there isn't anything to crazy here that will make you run for the hills. That said I'm not sure you can depend on this as a full time source of income like you would with a work from home job or My #1 Free Work At Home Recommendation! But what's to say you can't combine this opportunity with the other options and truly maximize your income. After all making some income and adding it to multiple streams of income is better than making none and complaining about it. But that's none of my business as the great Kermit would say.
So is GigWalk Legit & The Real Deal?
Yessir! I definitely think you can make some extra money with this app. Combine it with some of my other favorite opportunities such as Wealthy Affiliate, Instagc, Qmee & Tap Booty and it's just another way to get your multiple streams of income up! So what do you guys think? Please chime in below with your comments or questions. I'd love to hear from you.
