Survey Savvy Review: Is It Legit or A Waste of Your Precious Time?
This blog is supported by sponsored links & ads. But “Eddy with a y” only personally recommends companies I trust and researched.
For better or worst everyone has an opinion. Unfortunately, most people are sharing it on social media when folks like me haven't asked for it. Sigh. Well, apparently there are companies that do actually value your views. So you can make your opinion count while making a few extra bucks at websites like SurveySavvy.com. You are probably wondering whether it is a scam, and have gone through a couple of Survey Savvy reviews, but are still curious whether to sign up or not.
Well, in this review we have everything you would want to know about SurveySavvy.com, and there are a few surprises.
What is Survey Savvy?
Survey Savvy pays you to take surveys. It has been in business since 1999, under parent ownership of Ms. Roseanne Luth, President of Luth Research LLC. Luth Research, LLC has been in the market research business since 1977 and is currently headquartered in San Diego, California.
How Does Survey Savvy Work?
First and foremost, it cost you nothing to take surveys with this company. Once you sign up you will fill out a profile form with your personal information including age, location, household members and income.
These demographics will be used to Prequalify you for surveys. The clients set some certain criteria of choosing candidates, based on the information they require. Survey Savvy then uses these criteria to select members who qualify, based on each member’s demographic.
Survey Savvy is a little bit different from most survey websites I have come across. They came up with a desktop application known as SavvyConnect.
How SavvyConnect Works
- Once you sign up for the service, the tool will collect information about your browsing habits, be it shopping, streaming, social media and what have you. In other words, they will monitor and study your browser history.
- They will then collate this information and share it with their clients. If a client deems this information useful to them, Survey Savvy will invite you to share your opinion about a certain product or service their client is offering.
- SavvyConnect acts like a filter of some sort to automatically qualify you for surveys. If you qualify, they will send you an email with the invite. Once you complete the survey you will be credited with the attached reward.
Currently there’s an ongoing promo where members within the United States get paid $5 a month if they choose to use SavvyConnect. However, you can still qualify for surveys if you decide against SavvyConnect.
However, you stand to qualify for more surveys with SavvyConnect. They claim that you can also improve your chances of qualifying for surveys when you complete a few other optional profile questions.
You can see them under ‘’member profiles and portraits’’. They also recommend you download their mobile app. If you don’t qualify for an available survey, you get an automatic entry into a monthly sweepstakes where you may earn $10.
Did you know you can make money doing a whole lot more than taking surveys at Swagbucks.com and Fusioncash.com? Now you know. You can also check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation to make a consistent part time or full time income online which surveys can't provide you.
How Do I Join Survey Savvy?
It's totally free to join surveysavvy.com. You just need to be over 14 and have a reliable internet connection. Survey Savvy is available globally. If your country is not listed in the application form, they invite you to contact them.
How Much Money Can I Make With Survey Savvy?
That totally depends on how many surveys you qualify for. There’s simply no way of telling how much you can earn. However, from what we can gather, some surveys pay $2, but most pay less. The only guarantee is the $5 at the end of every month for SavvyConnect users within the US.
How Does Survey Savvy Pay You?
Survey Savvy pays via check, which you will get via mail upon request. You only need $1 to request for payment. It takes 4-6 weeks for the check to arrive. If you don't like being limited by check, payments, you have a lot of payment options with Swagbucks.com and Fusioncash.com. You can also check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.
How Does Survey Savvy's Referral Program Work?
This is another feature that sets apart Survey Savvy from other similar websites. You will get a piece of your direct referrals’ earnings, and also a piece of what your indirect referrals earn.
Indirect referrals are your referrals’ direct referrals. So they basically have a two-tier referral system which is a rare thing to have. It provides you a way to increase your income with this company even if you don't take surveys with them.
What We Like About Survey Savvy
The Two-tiered referral program
Most referral programs are just one level deep. But survey savvy steps up their game by allowing you to earn off a friend's friend's effort. This can quickly add up and I've literally made thousands of dollars because of this. So I really should say I love this! lol
It is global
I’ll be damned. It's rare to come across a work at home opportunities that is available worldwide. Like Clixsense, it is one of the few survey sites to have opened doors to anyone willing to work with them.
Their BBB rating at the time of writing this survey is an A+. For some of you that Better Business Bureau rating is like a God seal of approval.
Survey Savvy Complaints
Yup, it’s about that time again. As with most companies out there, their success depends on how white their lies are. It’s no different with Survey Savvy. There are a few red flags we have to mention. So here there are:
“Check” The Technique
Yes, they still only pay by check. Really? Like PayPal & Direct Deposit don't exist. While a $1 payout minimum sounds cool, I would prefer my money the most convenient way possible. Wait, there’s more. It takes a whole month, maybe longer for the check to arrive? Ok… but no thank you.
There are barely enough surveys to complete

You can go for weeks before qualifying for a survey. Some users are actually saying that the more information you give the harder the goddamn surveys come by.
B@#th better have my money!
Some users have complained of having to fight tooth and nail to get their payment, with endless phone calls and emails standing between them and their money.
You're all in my business
Believe it or not if you want to maximize your chances of getting surveys, you will probably want to use SavvyConect – the browsing history lurker. Well, I’m not sure if I want to reveal everything I do online, especially around Valentine’s Day.
Is Survey Savvy A Scam?
Based on what I’ve personally experienced, Survey Savvy is legit, especially with that two tiered referral program. So no it is not a scam. However, don't expect to earn a full time or part time income with any consistency. Like all survey only sites your income is limited to supply and demand. If your demographic isn't popping, you ain't going to see any surveys and thus cash. I'm also not fond of waiting damn near a month or longer to get a slow ass check that needs to be cashed.
So there is room for improvement, but it's a long standing survey site that does pay. At the end of the day, there are better, more rewarding websites like Swagbucks.com and Fusioncash.com that pay way better where you're not limited to surveys only. And if you really want to take your income to the next level like a full time or part time income, you'll want to check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation.
