Making money online is not as easy as it sounds. There are so many scams out there, it can be scary. Trust me, I've been there. So it's probably why you're going through CheckPoints reviews to determine if the app is worth your time or not.

Well, we dug up the good, the bad and the ugly about the site and we have it all in this CheckPoints review. So let's get into it, shall we?

What is CheckPoints?

CheckPoints found at CheckPoints.com is a GPT (get paid to) app that claims to pay people to do short tasks online and offline. According to Crunchbase, CheckPoints was co-founded by Mark DiPaola, the entrepreneur behind tech company inMarket. They are currently located in Venice, California, USA.

How Do I Earn Rewards on CheckPoints?

Checkpoints claims to pay people for various activities which we have listed down below. Once you download and install the app, you can start earning for the following types of activities:

Checking in To Stores – Check in to an eligible store near you, scan any item code and earn points.

Taking paid surveys – Sharing your opinion about various topics, products or services.

Completing offers – You can earn rewards for testing samples, doing a product trial, download apps, visit sites and so on.

Watching Videos – Get paid for watching videos such as short movie trailers and product commercials.

Referrals – You can earn 100% of what your referrals earn for the first two weeks. They’ll provide you a referral code you can share with others.

Did you know that there are other companies that will pay you to complete similar tasks? InboxDollars.com, Swagbucks.com, and FusionCash.com will pay you for online activities you do such as playing games, watching videos or downloading apps and many other things. A company like SurveyJunkie.com will also pay you to take surveys. So you have options either way.

How Much Money Can I Make With CheckPoints?

At the time of this review, checking in to stores earns you 15-25 points. Videos pay 10-30 points per view, while offers earn you anywhere between 15-100 points.

If you don't like the idea of points or earning very little money for a lot of effort, don't worry. You can make real money working part time or full time using My Best Work At Home Recommendation.

How Does CheckPoints App Pay You?

If you’re like me, you’re probably thinking, What the hell am I going to do with damn points? Don’t fret my friend! You can redeem your points for either gift cards or physical stuff from these stores they are promoting. There are mostly $10 Amazon and WalMart gift cards to choose. And they are delivered to your email 1-3 days after redeeming. These gift cards cost 340 points a pop. Physical goods can cost between 10,000 and 15,000 points. You can cash out at any time.

How Do I Get Started With CheckPoints?

Checkpoints is free to download and use. You can download the app on Google Play or the Apple Store. It is however only available within the United States, probably because most of these stores target US consumers only. If you’re looking for an opportunity to make money outside the United States, check out these International Work At Home Jobs.

Did you know sites like InboxDollars.com, SwagBucks.com and FusionCash.com will pay you to download apps like CheckPoints? Well, now you know.

CheckPoints App Complaints

Well no company is perfect. There are bound to be things that you may or may not like about Checkpoints. So we decided to break them down for you. You’re a grown ass adult, you decide if any of the complaints against Checkpoints are deal breakers for you.

The Points Magically Run Out

People are complaining that once you’re near the cash-out threshold, usually 300+ points, the ways to earn points run out. Others say not unless you’re willing to check in to a store, you cannot make money without moving.

Negative BBB Rating

CheckPoints BBB rating is an F at the time of this review. Fortunately there are other companies that have positive BBB ratings. If you want to make money with companies that are trusted by the Better Business Bureau, you may want to look into SurveyJunkie.com, InBoxDollars.com, Swagbucks.com and FusionCash.com where you can also get paid for what you already do online like visit websites, read emails, watch videos and other tasks. But if you want a real work at home opportunity that will pay the bills, check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.

Is CheckPoints Legit or A Scam?

CheckPoints is not a scam. It’s might be a nice way to make your visits to stores more profitable. However some people have argued that its difficult to reach the cash-out threshold. So it may not be a reliable way of making real money.

So with that said, it's always good to look at other options as well. Just like CheckPoints, you can make money doing what you already do online like watching videos, reading emails, playing games, visiting websites and much more at sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com, InboxDollars.com and taking surveys at SurveyJunkie.com. But if that's not what you're looking for and would prefer earning a living online, then you may want to check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.

We’d love to know what you think about this or any other work at home gig you may have had an episode with. So feel free to chime in on the comments section below. If you still have questions about the app, you can read their FAQs page here.

Until next time
