How Much Money Can Be Made?

The rate of pay will range from $18 to $25, but you can only earn if you have an actual delivery. They don't say at this time as to whether or not mileage is covered, although you do need to be able to pick up a product and have it delivered to the customer all inside of any hour.

There is no guarantee that deliveries will be available during the block you sign up for, and the availability of times and schedules may change from week to week.

There doesn't appear to be too many crazy requirements to become an Amazon Flex Driver. Here's what you need to become one of the Amazon Flex Drivers:

• 21 years of age
• Access to dependable motorized vehicle. Unfortunately they don't allow on-foot or bicycle deliveries.
• A smartphone to download the app they use to set up deliveries.
• Submit to a background check.
• You need a clean driving record.

If you're able to meet those requirements Amazon Flex will accept any person who has time in their schedule to commit to blocks of time. Complaints and Concerns About Amazon Flex

Event though Amazon Flex is a relatively new program offered by an established company, there are some concerns and complaints to take note of if you want to take up this opportunity. It doesn't mean it's a scam but it good to be aware of these potential roadblocks. Because this opportunity isn't for everyone. Here are some of the reasons below.

You can't earn a living off this.

The word out on the streets is that reported earnings simply do not match up with reality. The Amazon Flex concept is based upon the idea of drivers signing up for blocks of delivery times.

This is great on the surface because it allows you to know exactly when you are to be available for making those dashes to and from customer locations. The problem appears to be that there are simply not enough deliveries to fill the time of drivers in each block.

This means you will by waiting and not earning any money. That kind of defeats the purpose of working for yourself, now doesn't it?. Hopefully as they expand their hour delivery too more locations, there will be more work for drivers. Time will tell. But for now, don't quit your day job or look at this for consistent income.

Wear and Tear

Obviously the idea of driving your own car is a benefit. It's even better when you consider you can make money doing it without picking up strangers.

But is it actually worth it from a financial standpoint? You have to factor in the wear and tear on your car. Furthermore you have to think about the money you're paying in gas.

When you do all that math, the money earned may not add up in your favor. So it's something to really consider.

You have to leave your home

Apparently there have been a few complaints that the company is difficult to get a hold of. If this is true, you would literally be on your own. So this can create a problem is there is an issue that you need to have resolved – such as a discrepancy with your paycheck!

So Is Amazon Flex Legitimate?

Since a well-established online retail company is backing this program, it would be really hard to say that this opportunity is a scam.

While it is not a pure work from home opportunity, the program would allow you to make money on your own schedule in theory. But the problem appears to be that Amazon Flex has promised more than they can deliver. (Pun Intended!).

In other words they don't seem to have enough work going around for the available drivers. Maybe in time this will change. So you may just need to be patient while that happens.
