What We Like About InboxDollars

Lots of ways to earn

You should not find it hard to earn daily. Unlike a survey site, you're not limited to just one way to earn. You have many methods that they offer.

You earn real money, not points

Compared to most GPT websites out there, the website's currency is what we prefer most; cold hard cash. So it's great that Inboxdollars offers this instead of their own funny money.

Positive BBB

For those of you that live and die by a Better Business Bureau, Inboxdollars is currently A+ rated at the BBB at the time of this review.

InboxDollars Complaints

Pennies, pennies, pennies

50 cents for a half-hour survey? Sorry, I'll pass. Most offers and the few surveys you qualify for pay you cents. The best paying offers are hard to come by, and you will have to part with your credit card information. If you're looking to make more money, it's best to have multiple streams of income. So you may want to check out and for additional sources of income. You can also check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation which helps you earn larger sources of income.

”I can't qualify for any survey”

You will have to skim through several available to find one that you qualify for. They make qualifying for a survey feel like an achievement worthy of a gold medal, only to realize it was just a smiley sticker on your homework.

Not available outside the USA

You can't earn with InboxDollars if you don't reside in the USA.

So is InboxDollars a Scam?

Nope, InboxDollars is not a scam. They have been around for many years and it's one of the first companies I' signed up with when I got started online. And they're still here so that says a lot. I also appreciate that you are paid real money instead of made up currency like some other sites.

That all said it's not all perfect, but that it is expected when any site like this. Ultimately, you have to decide if the payouts we described above are worth your time or not. I'm not judging you either way.

That said, if you want more options and believe in multiple streams of income, you may also want to look into and You can also check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation for a way to make a significant income online.

Well, that's all from me today. Do you have an experience with or any other GPT site out there? Share your opinion, comments or questions in the comments section below! We would love to hear from you!

Until next time, stay safe beloved. lol

  1. Actually was liking this site, took two weeks to get to the $30 payout. Noticed that the surveys had dried up the last couple days, I was at $31 this morning and now my account has been deactivated. Well played InboxDollars, what a bunch of jerks! Best to stay away from this one.

  2. While Inbox dollars isn’t a scam, it take a huge amount of time (think months) to build up enough $ for a payout, unless you are logged in and all but living on their website. I’ve got better things to do with my time. Plus the amount of spam emails was insane.

    • I hear ya Kim. It’s all about finding things that work for your needs and time. Some people are fine with opportunities like this and others aren’t. To each their own. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  3. Hi Eddy,
Thanks for your post on this. I’d never heard of InboxDollars before, so it’s great to see you taking the time and effort to share this with us. I have to agree with you that what they offer in the way of pay seems pretty low. So for me it’s not worth my time. But thanks for sharing anyway! I appreciate it.

  4. Hi Eddy and thanks for the review. Since I live in UK I will not have the chance to check out InboxDollars myself. Your review shows that earnings on InboxDollars are very low and only available in USA, so I wonder who in the US would be interested in doing such a job for such a low salary? You claim that InboxDollars is not a scam because it pays money, but on the other hand, people are cheated by promises of good earnings and in reality they get a few cents for half an hour of work or at the end of the survey they were sitting on for hours they learn that they do not qualify.
For me this is a legalized scam.

    • I wouldn’t call this a scam. They don’t misrepresent themselves that you’re going to make tons of money with their site. The reality is people do make money and get paid. But it’s not something you can earn a lot with. Some people are fine with that depending on their needs.

  5. Hello Eddy,

Thank you for sharing your review regarding InboxDollars. I have registered with other GPT sites such as Swagbucks and; yes, they will pay small amounts but it will take commitment to eventually receiving a payout and like you mentioned in the article, one should have a multiple stream income mentality. I am currently focused on online marketing through Wealthy Affiliate as I know that it will take time to make money but helping others through a problem through genuine content is what I like to do. I am sure that there are those that are doing both and that is online marketing as well as getting paid to do surveys, watching videos, playing online games full-time. I do know that there is also scams to watch for and it is great that you mention trusted GPT sites as with inbox dollars. Trust is one of the fundamental aspects needed to attract others.

    Best Regards,

  6. I certainly don’t believe it is a scam, BUT I have tried them and it is very frustrating. I found too, that I could not qualify for any survey. Sometimes I would get thru the whole survey, only to be told I did not qualify. I think it is spending a LOT of time for pennies. I feel my time I worth a lot more than making pennies for an hour. I actually gave it a good go, and I still did not end up with anything. Lots of hours worked for no pay. Seems I can find something better than that!

  7. Yo Eddy, nice review. You’re right about online scams. It just seems like everywhere you turn there seems to be someone trying to pull a scam.

So do you recommend Inboxdollars over Swagbucks and FusionCash? Or are they all about the same?

How often does the getting paid for playing games option come up?

    • No I’m not recommending inboxdollars  over the other recommendations I laid out. I just know they are another legit option that people can use. You don’t have to just pick one way to make money. You should have a multiple streams income mentality.

  8. Thanks Eddy for this review. I have been through all the same scams and promises of being able to make money online with a range of different products. Inboxdollars seem like a long, hard, slow way of earning a few dollars online. I really like your website. It is good to see you are really earning an income online too, that it is not all hype, but genuine earnings.Thank you for sharing.

  9. Hi Eddy,
I’ve used InboxDollars on and off for some time now. I’ve cut back on it some because I’ve recently got interested in affiliate marketing and am working to progress at that but you are correct. They are definitely not a scam.
I really like that they pay actually cash instead of digital currency but the PayPal option you mentioned is a downfall for sure. The majority of websites like InboxDollars offer PayPal these days.
It’s definitely possible to earn money from this site but for me it was slow moving and low earnings.
These days I prefer to put most of my time into developing the affiliate marketing business which may be slow moving at first but I believe is worth it in the end.
Thanks for the information and your online success helps motivate me to believe it really is possible.
