The great thing about the internet is that it brings people together. It's an open forum where all folks can share their lives. But there is the dark side of this as well. It's when every Tom, Dick and Harry want to use the internet to share their opinions about everything. That's when it can be very annoying. Keep it real, sometimes you just want to surf social media in peace. But for those of you who are very opinionated and enjoy sharing your two cents, you're going to appreciate my Ipoll review.
What is iPoll?
iPoll.com, formerly known as Survey Head, was started in 2008 by Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin but as of January 2016, it's been owned and operated by Survey Sampling International, LLC. They claim to be a premier global provider of data collection and market research to provide solutions and technology to drive business success. Wow, sounds impressive doesn't it? But what the hell does that mean for you? Basically they're helping businesses collect information that they need, and that's where you come.
iPoll will pay you for your opinion on the things you do everyday, as well as the products and services you use. Best of all you can take these surveys wherever you are provided you have a smartphone. But we'll dive into that later.
So let's check this baby out!
How Does iPoll Work?
As a member, you can take surveys via their website as well as mobile apps, such as your Android phone or your iPhone. You simply download the appropriate app to get started. To complete the surveys using your Android phone, you can download the app via Google Play. If you're an iPhone user you can access the app via iTunes. Once you complete surveys, you earn points that you can redeem for cash, Amazon gift cards, iTune gift cards or you can use them to enter the quarterly $10,000 sweepstakes.

You get a $5.00 bonus just for signing up with iPoll and you can complete iPoll surveys from anywhere and anytime, once you are eligible. The value of surveys range from $0.50 to about $3.00 it all depends. So if you complete 5 surveys for a one week period at $3.00 a piece, then you can may earn $15.00 for that week. But that's assuming you qualify for the surveys.
If you don't mind leaving your house, you can complete a “mission”using the phone app and by being at a specific retail location. For example, completing iPoll's more popular mission, the New Item Scavenger Hunts, has an earning potential from $0.50 up to $100.00 a day at a rate of up to $30/hr. What? Now we're talking!

iPoll Hacks or Tips!
Open a PayPal account
Make sure and set up your PayPal account to receive your cash payments. If you already have a PayPal account, make sure you add your iPoll member email address, so you don't have any problems to receive your cash and always keep your information up to date.
Download the app
Downloading the app on your phone allows you to make more cash because users who download the app are contacted more frequently to participate in surveys. The more you participate, then the more cash you make.
Okay so on paper ipoll sounds like the perfect opportunity. But when we dig deeper, it is absolutely mind boggling to see so many complaints related to iPoll. I am definitely not going to highlight each and every one, since we both don't have that kind of time. So here are some iPoll complaints that are a definite deal breaker.
Where the hell are my rewards?
There have been some complaints concerning the length of time it takes for rewards to be credited as well as collected. In some cases you have to wait at least 4 weeks.
Did I just waste 30 minutes?
But I completed the survey! What do you mean I don't qualify? You can get disqualified from a survey and like Univox Community, iPoll does not compensate you for being disqualified. Hey, tough love.
Completing missions depends on the hours of the stores you visit and depending on your responses, you can sometimes be disqualified from a mission by a screener.
There is an issue with your account
What? What issue are you talking about? Your account can be terminated for whatever reason and you just might be referred to check the terms and conditions to find out why.
You snooze you lose
Credits expire after a period of time. If you don't have enough credits to request your reward before the expiration date, then you can kiss the time you invested and the accumulated credits good bye.
Increased minimum payout
Minimum PayPal cash out is $50.00 as opposed to $10.00 with other survey sites like SurveyJunkie.com, You can even make money taking surveys and doing what you already do online like watching videos and visiting websites at sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com. But if you're looking for an opportunity to make real money online, check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation.
A couple More iPoll Complaints
Ever thought about it? It might be a bit more work and not as convenient, but you'll definitely make better money delivering pizza in your spare time, as opposed to taking these surveys. Apparently, iPoll surveys aren't as financially rewarding as they used to be.
I don't want to wait in vain for your love
Need some help trying to figure out where your credits went, when you'll get your hard earned rewards, or why your account was terminated? Well, you just might be waiting in vain for that kind of love. Apparently iPoll's “Help Desk” is not that helpful and the email responses, when and if you get one, aren't so helpful either. Remember the terms and conditions? Just head there and save yourself the stress.
Is iPoll Legitimate or a Scam?
iPoll is definitely legit. It's just one of the many sites that use this business model and it does work. In all fairness, the opportunity is working for some people and if you think you can make it work for you despite all the complaints; then by all means, knock yourself out.
At then end of the day, there are way better surveys sites like SurveyJunkie.com with better payouts and low minimum payout threshold. Remember, you can even make money doing what you already do online with websites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com. So you have a lot of options out there.
