Have you read a number of the OneOpinion Reviews online and you're still unsure if this company is worth your effort? Well you've come to the right place. If you want to know the real deal about OneOpinion including some of the complaints, then read my honest take of this company down below. I'm going to warn you I won't pull any punches. You may not like what you read but I'm sure you'll leave this page equipped to make the best decision for you. So let's dive in.

What is OneOpinion?

Oneopinion.com is owned and operated by Critical Mix, a company this is into market research big time. OneOpinions is an online community where the only opinion that matters, is yours. As such they provide you with the opportunity to earn some extra cash by sharing your insights and experiences on a variety of products and services.

How to Make Money with OneOpinion?

There are two ways in which you can earn money with OneOpinion.

Completing online surveys

As a member of OneOpinion you can complete online surveys. Apart from online surveys, OneOpinion also offers mobile and teen surveys. Surveys range from 5 to 30 minutes and rewards vary with the length of each survey, from $1 to $5. However, from time to time, it's possible that you may receive surveys paying up to $15. If you want to increase your chances of making more with surveys, you should join multiple trusted companies like: SurveyJunkie.com, Fusioncash.com and Swagbucks.com

Product testing

Test products that aren't yet on the market! Hey, that sounds pretty cool. I hope you're good at keeping secrets. As a panel member of OneOpinion, you can get the opportunity to see and test new products at home, and be compensated for it.

How Does One Opinion Pay?

You get paid in cash via PayPal or you can opt for Visa prepaid cards. OneOpinion uses a point system and 1,000 points is equivalent to $1.00. Once you've earned 25,000 points, you can request your reward; cash via PayPal or your Visa prepaid card. Note that prepaid Visa cards may take approximately 7 to 10 days to be received from the time of request. If you're not into the whole funny money point system, you might want to check my Top Free Work At Home Recommendation instead for real money without the whole conversion angle.

How Do You Join OneOpinion?

Joining OneOpinion is free, quick and easy. On the sign up page, at www.oneopinion.com, enter your email address. You'll be sent an email to verify your email address and that's it. Once you verify your email address, you'll be invited to participate in surveys.

You've got to be at least 13 years and over. However, if you're under 18, you need parental consent before joining. Even so, not everyone is eligible to join this bad boy, since eligibility requirements is restricted to U.S. U.K. and Canadian residents. Hey no worries, I've got you covered, because if you're looking for an opportunity you can access anywhere in the world, then you might want to consider my Top Free Work At Home Recommendation.

OneOpinion Complaints and Concerns

Taking surveys and doing in-home product testing seems like a great way to put your free time to use and make a little extra cash on the side. But as interesting as this opportunity might seem, it just may not be as easy as it sounds. Check out the complaints against OneOpinion and you'll see what I mean.

Learn To Deal With Rejection

Why do I have to waste time answering so many questions just to be rejected?! Seriously. Can't you use better filters that are less time consuming so that I can avoid wasting my time?

Oops, no surveys today

Unfortunately the nature of surveys is supply and demand. If they don't have clients that are looking to get feedback from people like you, then you get no surveys. No surveys means no money. So don't depend on this for consistent income. For that, you might want to consider my Top Free Work At Home Recommendation. But if you're fixated on surveys you can find more of them here SurveyJunkie.com, Fusioncash.com and Swagbucks.com as well.

You want me to respond how?

I thought this was a survey I was doing. Ten minutes into the survey and you want a video response? What's up with that? Some people just aren't comfortable with this sort of thing, so it can be pretty surprising to get this, if you weren't told up front.

More OneOpinion Complaints

This is so not worth your time

I did not mind qualifying once in a while to do surveys, but this qualification process is really getting to me. They ask the same questions over and over just to tell me I'm not qualified. Yep, it can become pretty frustrating having to go through the same thing over and over.

No Consolation prize.

You're telling me “sorry, you don't qualify.” So I just spent 15 minutes of my life for nothing. I would give you guys zero stars if I good. Sadly unlike other survey companies that will pay you for qualifications questions, OneOpinion doesn't. How do you like them apples?

Is OneOpinion Legitimate or a Scam?

Despite the complaints, as far as survey sites go, OneOpinion is definitely legitimate. They are all about market research and it's one of the better paying survey sites out there. But like every other survey site, as far as finding reliable market research information, demographics are important. That means that in all likelihood, you won't always get a survey to complete or a product to test out. You can always play the wait and see game.

But, if you're like me and you don't have time for that, just to make a little extra cash on the side, then you definitely need to look into my Top Free Work At Home Recommendation, SurveyJunkie.com, Fusioncash.com and Swagbucks.com. With multiple streams of income, you can earn way more than any survey.

Okay, so that's my two bits worth. Like I always say, the decision is always yours to make. Hey, thanks for reading and feel free to let me know what you think about this down below.

Until next time,

  1. They used to be good, but now they are acting suspicious, the phone numbers are disconnected, they dont respond to email, and just have this robot named emily to deal with clients. I have been waiting over a month for a 50 dollar gift card to amazon i have earned. According to them, it has been sent……YEAH RIGHT……..the check is in the mail

  2. What’s up with your opinion poll site? I have been a member (satisfied for the most part) for several years and now I am getting a lot of junk. No response from Emily, getting kicked out of surveys almost at the end, and other issues. And for two days now have not been able to access.

  3. it is definitely a scam, they wrote that they had their security problems, but my membership was still active with plenty of points to redeem which I tried by triple security check (one was the code sent to my mobile) but they denied to pay me anything . They just run away with our money.

  4. I have been with one opinion for quite awhile. I started when it was my view. I have no problem cashing out on a regular basis. I have done at home product testing and received payouts of $75.00 – $300.00 and I get 50 points every time I take a survey whether I qualify or not. This, in my opinion is definitely not a waste of my time.

  5. I have been doing OneOpinion for many years all the way back to when it use to be called MyView. I did a graph once keeping track of how long I spent each day vs. the payout. Spending an hour a day to earn a $25 gift card at the end of the month came out to about .80 an hour pay. Then you have to wait 10 to 15 business days for them to process a digital code ( if that is what you want ) I have had several surveys that stated 10 minutes for 1000 points ( 1000 points = $1 ) and about 30 minutes into a “10” minute survey it suddenly ends and says ” This survey is no longer available” and got zero points. I will say however, I copy and pasted the link and wrote customer service and they always make it right for me so that is why I stay.

    • I’m not surprised. Unfortunately surveys aren’t usually worth the amount of time you spend when you do the math. But if you don’t care about that and are happy to earn any money online, then they’re an option.

  6. I’ve been using this for a few years with no problems. But a few weeks ago the site suddenly ran out of surveys. Okay, that’s happened before, usually with surveys available again within a day. It’s now been weeks. Okay, but I’ve amassed rewards, so why not cash out on them. Oops, the cashout links seem to be unclickable. What’s going on? Trying to get in touch with support to find out. If the site’s dying off, fine, but I’d like to collect my rewards just the same. Feels like the site has been quite as functional since they switched to the “points” system.

  7. Hello I just wanted to say do not join OneOpinion. I joined in the beginning of this year and started out slow then worked my way up to 100, then 200, then eventually $337.60. I was an expert at surveys. Then suddenly one day my dashboard was closed and I could not take it out. Please don’t do this to yourself.

  8. Hey Eddy, nice review here. I’ve never heard of OneOpinion but I have done my share of surveys online.

One thing I noticed is that we need 25000 points or $25 to cash out. That is a little high to me. I’ve seen programs that allow a $1 cash out.

Nevertheless, I’ve seen worse as well and OneOpinion looks like a legit site. They do offer product reviews which is something I might like.

    Thanks a lot for sharing!

    • I agree the cash out threshold is way too high. But i suspect they do that because they know most people won’t reach it.

  9. I have never heard of One Opinion however I do know not all of these surveys are available in Australia. I really dislike surveys whether they are legit or not. They are so tedious and boring and you get such little reward for your effort. But in saying that it is good to know that this is a legitmate one that you can make money from. I will stick to building my blog I think!

  10. I enjoyed reading you page a lot. I have tried surveys in the past and was always disappointed. OneOpinion makes me want to have another look.

You do a good job of detailing out the good and the bad and I found myself feeling very good about some of the decisions I have made in the past.

Great Job. Keep up the good work.

  11. I’ve been wondering if OneOpinion was legit or not for awhile. Sometimes, things that seem too good to be true ARE too good to be true but not always. There are exceptions to the rules and it looks like this is one of them. I’m glad to know that it’s legit but it’s not for me as I don’t have the time either. Thanks for all of your recommendations!

  12. Thank you for the review! This sounds just like any survey online website and they all have their pros and cons. I use these from time to time for the extra money, but not really a source of constant income. Thank you for the insight! It us always great to have people like you out there to help people like us avoid the scams and time wasters.

  13. I think that many people complain about these survey websites because they do not understand the requirements of the survey before they begin. As in your case, I find more of a waste of time even if the websites are real. Some of these surveys take a long time to complete and they will not pay right away. People are better off looking for other opportunities to make money online.

    • Yeah I have to agree with yo that most people don’t really understand that surveys are based on demographics so there is this assumption you’ll always make money with every survey you take. But unfortunately that’s not the case and why I agree its a waste of your time in most cases.
