Top 5 Free Work At Home Job Sites For 2008

As the New Year is quickly coming upon us, it’s time to start thinking about what you would like to achieve for 2008. People make a lot of resolutions, going on diets, saving more money, getting out of debt, etc. But one resolution that stands the test of time is the one of career advancement. Everyone always wants to advance in their current job or find a better paying one. So we’ve decided to help you get 2008 started right by providing you some great work at home job resources to achieve your goal of working at home in 2008.

I’ve been in the work at home field since I was in college and I’m 30 something now. So I’ve seen a lot in terms of the work at home world. I basically got started in this industry because I was scammed. My site WorkAtHomeCareers.com has been cited numerous times as a resource to help people avoid scams by many major publications. No I’m not tooting my own horn. I just want you to be aware of my experience and why it gives me some insight as to what makes a great work at home resource versuses a some web page thrown up to push clickbank products. (No offense to those websites.). Too often people assume that the websites in the top of the search engine results are the best. This is true for certain industries but not all. Search engines can get it really right or really wrong depending how their algorithms are working that given day, week or month.

As a result of this I’ve come up with some basic standards of what makes up a top notch work at home job site. They are as follows:

> Does said work at home website provide legitimate work from home job leads?

> Is said work at home website updated with new jobs regularly (Meaning daily or weekly)?

> Does said work at home website research the job leads to the best of their ability?

> Is said work at home website membership free?

> Is said work at home website totally free to the work at home seekers?

So based on these standards, I have come up with a list of work at home websites that I think fits many or all of the characteristics listed above. Again this is my opinion. If you don’t like it, tough luck! No just kidding. I’d be very interested in hearing your opinion so include your comments below this post.

And with no further delay here is my list of the Top 5 Free Work At Home Job Sites for 2007 in no particular order:

1. RatRaceRebellion.com

2. MoneyMakingMommy.com

3. 2Work-At-Home.com

4. WorkAtHomeCareers.com

5. Wahm.com

So that’s my list. All of these website do a great job of keeping their jobs updated and researched. They also manage to be profitable by balancing their ads with the jobs which is what keeps these sites free to work at home seekers. And more importantly you don’t have to jump through hoops to access their free work from home job resources. I’ve seen some other sites that had real potential but then they force you to sign up for a membership or pay a fee. I understand the logic behind it but based on the standards I set up for this list, they didn’t make the cut because of it. The sites listed above are well known in their industry so you won’t read a lot of complaints about these sites being a scam, rip off or fraud. They are all legit.

Let me know what you think.

Those websites are well known within the work at home industry community except ratracerebellion.com. It is the first time I’ve heard from it. But if it complies with your rule for inclusion, I think it should be a fair choice. All the best. Regards. Javier.-

    Hi Javier,

Thanks for the comment. I agree RatRaceRebellion.com was a new one for me too but after reviewing it I really felt it should make the cut.

    Thanks again for your feedback.

    Hey Sherry,

You’re right. But I can’t convince you I’m legit or not. That’s up to you to decide.
That being said, there seems to be a consensus that I’m not by many of the folks
    on the following page:
http://www.workathomenoscams.com/scams who apparently I’ve helped avoid getting scammed on many occassons.

The media seems to think I’m okay too:

But I guess you have to take all their opinions with a grain of salt. Good luck either way.

By the way on the following page, there is a list of companies that hire work at home seekers and no it doesn’t cost you a dime:

    Cheers.
