Is Facebook hiring? If you are one of the millions of people who are addicted to social media, making money from it seems like a dream come true. Apparently Facebook Bonanza is claiming that they can make this possible. But is it just a nightmare instead? That's what my team and I decided to find out. So If you want the actual truth about Facebook Bonanza, then you should read this review. It's going to help you avoid some heart break.
What is Facebook Bonanza?
Don't let the name fool you. Facebook Bonanza located at Fbbonanza.co/FBB/agq/ is not actually connected to Facebook in any way. The name comes from the fact that they use social media sites to promote their product.
The offer first began to appear in 2014 and lead people to believe that Facebook itself had a new “work from home” opportunity. There is very little information available as to who started the business, or even where it came from.
There is some evidence that it is a part of Markenark Holdings Ltd. which has various scam warnings if you try to find out more information about them.
How Much Money Can You Allegedly Make?
With Facebook Bonanza, testimonials state that members are able to make $397 a day and up to $14,000 a month. With no set structure laid out for you, it is difficult to tell where these numbers come from and what you need to do to get this much money.
It does, however, say that to make a full time living you will only need to work for about five hours every week. This already smells like BS to me. If you're looking for a legit opportunity to make real money working part time or full time at home, check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation.
How Much Does Facebook Bonanza Cost?
To get started with this company you need to purchase a Facebook Cash Kit. The original price for the kit is $197, but it is always sold at a discount for $47. The $47 can be lowered if you go to the application page and try to exit. In order to get you to stay and purchase their product, the price will eventually drop to $27. This may change depending on when you read this review.
Not surprisingly there are numerous upsells that the company hides in the fine print.
– Monthly fee of $47 will be charged to you after the first 30 days.
– Another $1 fee will be charged to you monthly for “Road Academy Training.”
– You are able to cancel, but no refunds will be issued.
Before signing up for Facebook Bonanza be sure to read all the fine print. There are numerous rules and regulations that are added in to avoid lawsuits and people demanding their money back.
If you don't like the idea of having to spend money to make money, you have other options. You can make money taking surveys at SurveyJunkie.com. You can also make money doing what you already do online like watching videos, reading emails and visiting websites at sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com. The best part is that these sites are free to join and are backed up by the Better Business Bureau.
Facebook Bonanza Complaints
At this point you probably know whether Facebook Bonanza is legit or not. Here's what people who have actually tried making money working with the company have to say.
Testimonials are faker than stripper boobs.
All the testimonials from people that are allegedly just like you are all fake. If you look at the pictures of their so called members, they are all stock photos. By doing an internet search, you will be able to see these same people praising many other companies.
They're allusive about how you make money.
This company claims that you that you'll earn bags of cash by working 2-5 hours every week. But they do not give any real details as to how that's possible. The most information you get is that they train you how to make a living by working online. Sounds like a set up to me. That's totally the opposite of sites like SurveyJunkie.com where it's clear that you make money by sharing your opinion online. Nothing new there. Again, sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com will pay you to do what you already do online like watching videos and visiting websites. But if you're looking to make a living working part time or full time at home, then definitely check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.
BS Scarcity Tactics
If you were to go to the application page and try to leave, a timer would come up telling you that there is limited space available and that your offer will expire in 10 minutes. This is a scare tactic that many shady companies use when they want to get people to sign up for their product without thinking about it. In actuality, there is no limit to available spaces and anyone will be able to join whenever they want.
Your Information Will be Sold
There is more in the fine print than just additional charges. They also reserve the right to sell your information to other businesses that they feel you would be interested. Seeing as they don't really know you, they do not know what your interests are and your email and phone number will be sold to everyone.
The Facebook Name is Used Deceptively
This company uses the name of a well known, and respected social media site to get people interested. This is just another method of gaining credibility where there is none. If a business needs to leech off someone else's reputation in order to get members, they are usually not worth the effort.
So Does Facebook Bonanza Work Or Not?
Between the fake countdowns and the lack of information, there is no doubt in my mind that Facebook Bonanza is a scam. From what I can gather, this company does not even give you a real job, but simply shows you how to use one method or another to make money online. Given their own shady tactics, I doubt you'll learn the proper way to earn online.
What's A Better FREE Alternative to Facebook Bonanza?
Look you can actually make money online but there is a right way to do it. It's definitely not quick and easy. It will take work and patience. If you want real ways to make money that are actually legit and don't cost you a dime, you can check out SurveyJunkie.com, SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com. But the bottom line is, you can make a living working part time or full time online using My Top Work At Home Recommendation Wealthy Affiliate instead. It's what helped me earn a full time income online. Best of all you can try it for FREE unlike Facebook Bonanza.
At the end of the day the key to being successful making money online is patience, hard work and having Multiple Streams of Income. So with that in mind I would encourage you to look into my popular Work At Home Courses as well.
Well that's all for me. I'd love to hear what you think of this Facebook Bonanza. Leave a comment below.
Until next time,
Eddy with a y
I wanted to find out more about the company. Your article was very useful. It saved me a lot of grief. Thank you.
You’re welcome Linda.
Thanks for the valuable information
I could have easily got sucked into this
I don’t know how people can live with themselves scamming on fellow humans
You’re welcome Brenda. A lot of people just care about making money and nothing else. But now you know better.
I recently found your site because of FB Bonanza and its multiple scam attempts. They are now operating from the site: http://fbonfire.com/bbb/a=5&s1=aw&s2=&reqid=49464834
So FB Fire now it is I guess. However.. still a scam.
I am looking into your WFH opportunities… thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the heads up and sharing.
Eddy,
Thank you for your knowledge about online business. I am a part-time pastor and I was looking for something kind of work at home business for me and my wife. Something we could do to make some extra money. I got this email from FB Bonanza, looked ok, but I googled it and your site came up and I read your review that it was NOT legit. We are still looking for some kind of work at home business. If you have any suggests please send them to me. I believe you are trustworthy and honest. Thank you again,
May God bless you, Greg
You’re welcome Greg. I’m glad you read my review.
My suggestion was right in the article above. Here it is again.
Thanks Eddy,
Definitely a blessing in disguise the timer popped up when I went to grab my cc..said outta time.
This is the best outta time notice ever. Crazy cause I was willing to set myself up for financial disaster.
Too good to be true once again!!!
So happy that I saw your post
Thanks a million $$$ lol
You’re welcome Karla.
I’m glad you were able to read my review before wasting time and money with this.
Be sure to check out some of the other alternative options I provided if you want a legit way to make money. Please share this article so others can avoid being scammed.
Thanks Eddy. I signed up for this scam but checked before making any payment. Also I’m hoping my unsubscribe results in no more emails from that lot. I’ve added your review in the menu of the above blog.
You’re welcome. Thanks.
I got an email this morning from them, I’m always sus about them, so I was sus about you to, but you won in the end. I guess I’ll keep on being sus on everyone.
Wayne, in this industry you should always do your research so I understand why your suspicious of everything. You have a good reason to be. Just don’t let it make you so jaded you end up ignoring things that are actually legit. I wish you the best.
This is such a scam! Paid the $4.97 and then three days later my card was deactivated because of a fraudulent charge that this website tried to make on my card! The charge was for almost $800!!! They steal your account information and try to buy things.
Hey Emily,
I’m sorry to hear that you fell for this before reading my review. It sucks this has happened to you.
Of course Facebook Bonanza is a scam. So many red flags, however, your review would seem so very more valid, if you did not continually try to promote your own work at home programs, throughout your post.
Why would recommending something that has worked for me make the information I provided in the review less credible? People that visit this site want to be guided and provided options. So I have no problem giving an option I actually believe in and has worked for me rather than just promoting something that makes me the most money which I could easily do.
Can someone give me a phone number to their customer service, I cannot find any way to contact them and I need to cancel. Thank you for any help you can provide me
Just call your credit card company and have then issue a chargeback and stop future charges.
Call the customer service number and they will cancel it so they say but you don’t get the $4.97 as it’s an introductory price. She said you won’t receive anymore charges. To make sure I will call my bank and report them on Monday. Think about all the people who will cancel and they keep that money. Karma is going to get them. I work at Walmart making peanuts and had hoped it was for real. I wonder if mark Cuban knows they are using his name
How do you cancel Facebook Bonanza
I have no idea. You should contact your credit card company.
I joined Facebook Bonanza@8:15pm the 18th of this month,I have not received the book for training yet.I went to sign a few minutes ago and it does not open anything. But they sure took my money .They sent me aCongratulation! You qualify.
That’s a damn shame. I hope you can get your money back.
I paid 4.97 to,started working with facebookbonanza star to watch the training video but didn’t finish now I can’t log in back what should I do??
Veronica, Try emailing them. If that doesn’t work, contact your credit card company to get a refund.
I wish I’d known about this. I decided not to continue with this and contacted these people to request a refund of the $47.00 that I paid (online) for the “easy kit” program. The request was made online, however as of today, not only has no refund been made but there has been another charge of
$1.41 to my account. Thank you for the info, I will now declare war on the scam. I will get my money back!
Hey Judy,
I wish you would have found our page sooner as well. Hopefully you will be able to get your money back. But if they ignore you, try contacting your credit card company to initiate a charge back. Or you can let them know you will if they don’t give you a refund and stop future charges. See if that helps. Keep me posted.
I hate the fact that internet is so full of scams and thanks to folks like you helping the average people to filter out the real ones and the scams.
I will definitely avoid Facebook Bonanza after reading your post. Just another scam site waiting for the less savvy people who just want to spend their hard earn money on real deals. Thanks for the heads up!
Agreed. You’re welcome.
I haven’t heard about this before but I’m happy that I found this review because I like to search for ways to make money from home and I do this continuously.
The first red flag is definitely the fact that there is almost no information about who the creator of all of this is… doesn’t give me trust at all.
Also, I don’t understand one thing… they say that the fee of this kit is $197 but eventually it can drop to only $27. So the one who believed from the first sight pays almost two hundred bucks for it…? Not very nice business model.
Definitely huge thank you for providing this information.
You’re very welcome Jolita. I agree there are a lot of shady red flags and practices this company exhibits. So I’m happy I can warn others about it. Thanks for your comment.
I have not heard of Facebook bonanza before. Is it even legal for them use the word Facebook in their marketing scheme?
I can’t believe that this scam has become even mildly popular, which is sad for the people who get caught up in the nonsense like this . Thanks for making me more aware of this.
I agree it is very sad and I definitely don’t think its legal for them to use Facebook’s name. I don’t know how they’re still getting away with it.
If you plug in Facebook Bonanza at RipOff Report, you will see complaints. We all know that there are scams out there just waiting to lure in innocent victims. I think it’s safe to say that most of us that are internet markers have learned to spot the deceptive programs and offers. We have had to become educated to spot the crooked sales people on the internet and to know that if it seems too good to be true, then it surely is. From my perspective, why would anybody believe a program that calls itself FaceBook? If the name was not a clue that this is not a legitimate program, then the amount of money it tells you that you can make should be a dead give away. Great post, keep warning us all of the crooks out there just waiting to con us.
The thing is all people don’t know and are not aware of work at home scams. That’s why they are successful. We only learn to be skeptical after being burned a time or two. But at the same time there are some of us that are skeptical of everything. So folks like that would easily avoid this. So I agree it’s something people must learn to avoid. I feel for folks because sometimes desperation will cause you to suspend common sense. And that’s what scammers are hoping for. But I’ll be here to warn folks that are fortunate enough to do their research.
How in the world can an operation like Facebook Bonanza stay in business? They promise the moon and then shuck and jive around the specifics of how you actually make money.
Thanks so much for exposing this scam. When something is faker than stripper boobs you know it’s bad. Although, personally, I wouldn’t know about strippers or their non-organic body parts.
I appreciate your top recommendation. That looks like the best way to go. Is it really free?
I wonder the same thing Gary. You would think Facebook’s lawyers would be all over this. In terms of the stripper boobs, I plead the 5th. lol Yes as you know with Wealthy Affiliate you can start for free. You can go for the paid premium membership if you want which has a lot more benefits. But it’s purely optional.
Thanks Eddy. I thought this was connected to Facebook. Decided against proceeding as I am always suspicious when the price drops dramatically. Also found the price dropped again when I tried to leave the sign up page. This is definitely a bad sign, so I suspect you are right in exposing this company. I am surprised Facebook haven’t taken action.
You’re welcome Chris. I’m not sure why Facebook hasn’t shut them down either. They’ve been around long enough that you would think they would be on their radar. Hopefully this review will help others avoid it.
Faker than stripper boots, love it
I agree with the comment above, most of the time when the price begins dropping and then their is a exit price reduction its basically something to stay clear of.
In the long run they are only trying to bait you in with a low ticket item to get you in the funnel then they will continue bombarding you with higher and higher ticket offers.
And I would also avoid any program with the word Bonanza in it, this isn’t the 60’s.
I’m happy you can appreciate my humor. LOL I agree when I see a lot of down-sells or up-sells it turns me off. Thanks for chiming in!
