How Does American Consumer Opinion Work?
When these huge corporations want to know what consumers think of their products or services, they contract market research companies like American Consumer Opinion to collect this information. Once the corporations buy this information, they will use part of this money to pay the people who took part in the survey.

What We Like About American Consumer Opinion
Positive BBB
This is for you friends of the BBB. The parent company's website has a positive rating with the Better Business Bureau. As of now while writing this review, American Consumer Opinion's parent company Decision Giant has an A- BBB rating.
Longevity
ACOP has been around since 1996. So they've been around the block a few times and aren't a fly by night company. They're a long time staple in this industry that won't be going anywhere. So that's always a good sign for a work at home opportunity.
American Consumer Opinion Complaints
I know this is the part you've been waiting for. There are a few red flags we'd like to swing your way just in case you want to join American Consumer Opinion. So let's dive into the complaints against American Consumer Opinion.
Not enough surveys
Like all survey companies, how many you get is based on supply and demand. If you don't fit the demographics that American Consumer Opinion is looking for at a given time, then sorry for you. You won't be getting any paid surveys. People have actually gone for months before redeeming their fist 10 dollars. There are sites like Swagbucks.com and Fusioncash.com where you get paid to take surveys but they also provide other ways to earn right away.
“When will my damn money arrive?”
A good number of users complained of American Consumer Opinion taking months or even longer to pay up. Ouch! Waiting months for a few bucks isn't something that is reliable nor will it pay your bills consistently. For that you may be better off checking out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.
Don't quit your day job
Don't join American Consumer Opinion thinking that you'll no longer have to flip burgers to make ends meet. Even if you are lucky enough to get weekly survey invites, it's probably not going to be a lot of money. Furthermore, because this is all based on supply and demand, you can't rely on this for consistent and predictable income.
Is American Consumer Opinion A Scam?
American Consumer Opinion is not running a scam. However, there are barely enough surveys to go around. It takes forever to cash out if you are lucky enough to rake up the 1000 points. And plus, unlike sites likes Swagbucks.com and Fusioncash.com where there are tons of ways to get points, at American Consumer Opinion you only complete surveys, period!

Eddy ”With a Y”
Here’s my story about acop.com:
After finishing about 10-15 surveys I noticed that the emails stopped coming. I contacted the support and got vague response:
“A search of our records indicates that you are not an active member of American Consumer Opinion®. There could be a few reasons for this. Your account may have been flagged for non-compliant activity, or you are signed up under another email address (besides this one). If your information was flagged, this could be due to several reasons.
Your survey or registration data was not valid.
We have found that you were not being compliant with the American Consumer Opinion® panel’s Terms and Conditions agreement.”
They never responded to my demands to clarify and give my a specific reason for deactivating my account.
Of course it happened as soon I’ve earned my first 100$ worth of points.
Thanks for this awesome review Eddy! I’ve tried American Consumer Opinion and there wasn’t any surveys available. It’s just impossible to even make a decent side income from ACOP…
Thanks for sharing your experience Jerry.
