The Best Way To Make Money For Downloading Apps With AppManThanks to the Internet, we have more opportunities than ever to earn money working from home. We can either choose to sell products or services, or simply make a few extra bucks browsing the web while we wait in line for groceries or picking the kids up from school. One of the easiest ways to make cash on the side is using your smartphone or tablet with companies like AppMan that reward you for downloading apps. But can you really earn rewards this way or is it somehow a scam? Let's take a look.

What is AppMan?

AppMan.io is a mobile platform created by AppEase Producer LLC. The company was founded in 2016 in Denmark, Wisconsin. The company offers gift cards and PayPal cash payouts in exchange for downloading apps from affiliated developers. At the time of this review, AppEase has an A- rating with the Better Business Bureau.

How to Join AppMan

Apple users can visit the company's website with their iPhone or iPad and select Get for iOS to download the AppMan app. Previous users recommend only using the Safari browser as other browsers do not seem to work well for downloading the app. Android users can download the app directly through the Google Play Store. The app will direct you to download an app to sign up in order to make sure their tracking system is working. Once the initial app has been downloaded and opened, the signup process will redirect you back to AppMan in your browser.

How to Earn with AppMan

Appman has their own monetary system known as points instead of actual dollars. But it can be converted into real money, which we'll discuss later. In terms of actually earning these credits, the app provides a list of apps that are available for download. This list details the amount of points for each app as well as any requirements for receiving credit. Some apps need only to be installed and opened for a few seconds. Others may require you to reach a particular point in a game to get credits.

How Does AppMan Pay You?

Earned credits or points can be exchanged for either PayPal payments or gift cards. Currently, the gift cards available are from iTunes, Xbox, Amazon, Steam, and Playstation Network. At the time of this review, most gift cards range from $10-$20 with the exception of Amazon, which starts at $1. PayPal payments are redeemable when credits reach $15 in value. You will receive rewards within 48 hours after claiming them. AppMan Hacks or Tips

The best way to acquire points is through the company's referral program. You get a link that you can share with family and friends or through social media. If they sign up, you get 50% of their lifetime points. Those who sign up through you get 50 points right away. Not too bad for simply sharing a link, especially if you can get a large number of people to sign up and use the app.

AppMan Complaints

So far everything you may have read sounds all good. But if you've read this blog long enough, you know we have to break down some of the bad points as well. It doesn't mean the company is a scam. But there are some things you may not like that you should know which we listed below.

Don't Quit Your Day Job: The list of apps you can download when you enroll equals about $5 in credit. After that, the platform only provides 1-2 games on a daily basis to download. There's no realistic way you are going to earn anything significant on a monthly basis, except maybe a $20 gift card at best. You might be better off checking out my Top Free Work At Home Recommendation for some real income.

Who Do I talk To? The platform's website only features a simple landing page with limited information about the app itself. There is no information about the company or how to contact them for customer service. If for some reason the app glitches and you don't get your credits, you may just be out of luck.

Anybody Out There Using It? There are few positive reviews online and no customer complaints. Makes you wonder if anyone even knows about the app let alone is using it. The company has only been around for a year, so that could explain the lack of customer feedback.

You need a smartphone or tablet. DUH!!!! Since the premise of this is downloading apps if you don't have a smartphone or tablet, you can't take advantage of this. I know some of you find it hard to believe. But yes some people don't have or want a smartphone or tablet.

So Is AppMan Legit or a Scam?

AppMan appears to be a legitimate company for earning cash rewards by downloading apps. You can get gift cards or receive PayPal payments with a couple days of cashing out. However, payouts are really low and the best you might be able to do is get a $20 gift card each month. Time will tell if they stay legit since the company has not been around for a long time.

That all said, it seems like we're talking about chump change at the moment with this opportunity. But I guess considering how easy it is, you can't expect a lot of money.

  1. Hi Eddy,

I have never heard of Appman. It would not be for me though because it seems that eventually, it would begin slowing the service on my phone, and I would like to make a little more money on working from home.

Isn’t this something that could penalize you on social media when sharing it with friends?

    • I don’t know if it would slow down your service because you could delete the apps after you download them and get credit. But it’s definitely not a way to make real money so you’re right about that.

  2. Eddy,

It figures that with the popularity of Apps nowadays, that someone would create an App that was designed for a person to simply download and install other Apps in order to make money.

My question would be at one point could a person’s Smart Phone/Android device say, “no more please. I have no available space for these Apps”? An App that rewards a person for downloading and using other Apps is something new. Perhaps the person connected with creating this particular App could also invent a Smart Phone that would have enough memory capacity to hold hundreds of Apps, lol. Only then would I consider Appman to be worth the trouble.

Really, this Appman is just like other Apps that I am aware of, designed as a way for a person to potentially make money online. As you stated, the person could never give up his/her day job as any App created by every site out there would definitely NOT lead towards attaining financial freedom.

At least this particular App does have a compensation plan for individuals who could successfully twist the arms of friends/family members into downloading, installing and using it on their phones. Many other Apps coming from companies do not have that type of referral plan.

    Take care,

    Jeff

    • Hey Jeff, Thanks for chiming in. In reality Appman is one of many apps that offers this type of opportunity. So it’s not really new. And the space on your phone isn’t an issue. Once you’ve downloaded the app and received credit you can remove the apps. So space is never really an issue. Thanks again.

  3. I actually came across this and was wondering if it is worth my time. Gift card and money is nice but it be better if was more than $20. I’m not sure how many downloads that would take. From reading your review it doesn’t seem that I will benefit much from it so I thank you for that.

  4. Hi Eddy … When I first started out with online marketing, I was excited to join things like this, but they are so time consuming which is not really worth the money – and then when you realise how little you are getting in exchange for the time you are spending, you look for loopholes – like download, getting the credit, then taking it off – doesn’t really help those who are paying for it to be downloaded … sorry but not for me – thanks for the article anyway

  5. Hey Eddy

This sounds interesting. Certainly not a game changer in terms of income but a bit of extra cash for downloading a few games is nothing to moan about I suppose.

I’m about to get rid of unwanted stuff on my phone in preparation.

Do the games take up much storage?

    • I don’t know. I’m assuming that some apps will take up more space than others. You just pick the ones that work for your storage situation

  6. Great review! I may try this out for a bit to see if I can get a little extra money on the side. It does sound like it does require quite a bit of space on the phone and quite a bit of time for not a whole lot of money, but money is money!

    • Thanks Adriana. Yeah it seems to be good for some pocket change. And you can easily remove the apps after you’ve been credited. So it doesn’t require a lot of space on your phone.
