If your application goes through, you can start claiming work. You'll be paid for every job approved by the site's moderators. Your balance will appear on your profile. Clients will rate you and you need at least a 4.5/5 star rating to even think of applying for an editor position.

How much you make depends on how many jobs you do. They claim that people on average make $150 a month, with the highest earning editors making well over $1000 per month. They pay up to $0.6 per minute audio or video.
How Does GoTranscript Pay You?
Transcribers get paid for every transcription work you put in by the minute. GoTranscript pays via PayPal and Payoneer every Friday. It seems there's no minimum threshold you have to meet to get paid.

It seems GoTranscript's only bitter pill is their pay. Transcribers on the website say you'll have to work your ass off to make a livable income. In fact, you'll need a rating of at least 4.5/5 stars to stand any chance of becoming an editor where the pay is better. Other than that, you can't live off a GoTranscript payday. They are not listed with the BBB

GoTranscript is not a scam. There's not one red flag we came across to suggest they are ripping people off. They also hire from anywhere in the world and pay via PayPal and Payoneer. Perhaps if they get themselves listed with the Better Business Bureau we can be even happier.

Gotranscript is a legit site and it’s definitely a great thing that they hire worldwide. Another downside is that some of their audio files can be really terrible quality. But their customer service is good and they usually are prompt in replying to the many queries they receive.
