How does GoodLife USA work?
GoodLife USA offers membership plans where people pay a monthly fee to have access to special travel-related services and discounts. You can also join as an Independent Business Owner (IBO), selling these monthly plans to other people and earn a commission on your sales. Like all MLMs, your earnings increase the more you not only sell products, but the more people you recruit to join.
How much does it Cost To Become a GoodLife USA Independent Business Owner?
GoodLife USA has different types of memberships.
- At the standard level, it costs a one-time fee of $79 and $9.95 per month to become a GoodLife Independent Business Owner.
- For Platinum level, it will cost a one-time fee of $299 and a monthly fee of $49.95. This level is for people who want to save on travel and get discounts, but don’t want to sell GoodLife USA products.
- All-in membership is a one-time fee of $378 and a monthly fee of $59.90 (this is standard level and platinum level combined)
GoodLife USA Compensation Plan
As per the compensation plan, the most common method of joining and recruiting is to receive a VIP membership gift card. The cards invite people to join the site and get $200 worth of travel discounts. Once they have joined and experienced the discounts, they are prompted to purchase an ongoing membership, or to join and sell GoodLife USA themselves.
Basic level members can only earn income from the VIP cards, recruitment, and the shopping network. Any purchases you personally make of GoodLife USA travel products do not count toward your PCV, and if you enroll new members, their fees aren't commissionable either.
You earn rewards on the VIP cards when they are used, but purchases on the VIP cards are not commissions; VIP cards give an acquisition bonus based on the discount, not on the purchase. In other words, if someone uses your VIP card to spend $100 on a hotel room that would normally cost $150, then only the $50 is eligible for commissions. In that instance, $25 is eligible to be paid to you as commission, $5 is paid to your enroller, and $5 is counted as PCV in your commission structure.
However, GoodLife USA has a complex commission sharing program, in which your first $60 in commissions goes straight to your enroller, then you give 50% of your earnings to your enroller for the next $500 up to $560. After $560, commissions are split and shared based on the CV of your downline.

However, only people who regularly spend a lot of money on luxury travel will be likely to join the program and sign up for a Platinum membership; for those who only travel once or twice a year, it doesn't make sense to pay $299 to join the program and then $49.95 a month for ongoing access to the discounts.
Time To Recruit!
GoodLife USA focuses a lot on the recruitment aspect of their business because the three membership levels is where most of their revenue gets generated.

Is GoodLife USA legit or a scam?
I personally wouldn’t join or recommend GoodLife USA. By making a restrictive commission structure with a lot of shared revenue, they make it unnecessarily difficult for anyone else to make money along the way.
Besides the shared revenue, the only other way to make more commissions is by recruiting other Independent Business Owner’s. There is too much of an emphasis on recruitment which is a big red flag. To move higher up in the matrix, you going to need to recruit people in your downline.
