If you’ve ever made a dime online, then you definitely know nothing comes easy. That’s why I was surprised when I heard that HoneyGain pays folks to do absolutely nothing. So I went through several HoneyGain Reviews to try and see if there’s a catch.
Chances are you had your doubts as well. Fortunately we were able to find out the truth and we have laid everything out in this HoneyGain review. Based on what we uncovered, you may want to stick around to the end.
What Is HoneyGain?
HoneyGain.com is an app and website that pays you for your unused internet. When you’re not using your computer or mobile device, HoneyGain uses your internet in the background and in turn pays you based on the GB you share with them. The crowdsourced network company was founded in 2018 although they haven’t made their ownership information public.
How Does HoneyGain Work?
You simply have to install the free app on your phone, mobile device or computer, turn it on and as long as your device is on and connected to the internet you’ll earn money. HoneyGain’s network will be used by companies to conduct ad verification, SEO monitoring, content delivery and other stuff behind the scenes. HoneyGain will then pay you based on the amount of GB used per day.
How Much Can I Make With HoneyGain?
The HoneyGain app uses an online calculator to estimate your earnings. You’ll see an approximate amount based on the hours per day you have the app running and the amount of Gigabytes transferred to your network. At the time of writing this review, 1GB equals $3 and if you leave the app running for 30 days straight, you can make up to $50 a month as passive income.
In addition, you can earn more money through their referral program which at the time of writing this review earns you 10% of your referral's income for life. Perhaps that's the best way to maximize your earnings with HoneyGain as you'll be making money passively off the efforts of others.
Ultimately, the best way to earn a decent sum with such opportunities is by joining several of them. That said, SwagBucks.com and FusionCash.com are perfect additions to the HoneyGain app. Like the app you’ll be getting paid for the things that you normally do online daily like watching videos, playing games, visiting websites and more. You can potentially earn more money sharing your opinion about products and services you use at SurveyJunkie.com. Best of all, these sites are FREE to join as well.
How & When Does HoneyGain Pay You?
At the time of writing, once you hit $20 you can cash out via PayPal or direct deposit. The funds take up to 3 business days to reach your account. They’ll send you information on how you'll get your money once you reach the minimum payment threshold.
How Do I Get Started With HoneyGain?
Joining HoneyGain is totally free. You can get started now by going here. The app is available on Windows, MacOS and Android devices. In addition, they have a sign up bonus. You’ll earn $5 when you successfully sign up here. At the time of writing this review, you can join from anywhere in the world. However, they allow one IP address per two devices maximum. They say if they notice something shady with your connection they may ban you. So be sure to follow the rules.
So the great news is that HoneyGain pays you passive income for doing nothing so thats great. Exciting as that may sound, there’s no such thing as a perfect company. So read the complaints against HoneyGain app and determine for yourself whether the app is worth using.
Doesn’t make financial sense
Some people say they found the app to be unprofitable as you’ll still need to pay for electricity. So if you’re consuming more than you’re actually making it may not be worthwhile at the end of the day. Payment Setup Issues
HoneyGain uses a third party company to pay their users. The 3rd party payment processer may ask for some identity verification documents and information to get your money. Unfortunately that didn’t sit well with some users as they felt they had to give up an arm and a leg to get paid. Personally I didn’t have to give out any information to get my money, but on the off chance that you find yourself in that situation it’s up to you to decide whether you’re comfortable with that or not.
What Information Are You After?
HoneyGain doesn’t really explain in great detail what information they’re fetching using your device. This has raised privacy and safety concerns among users. They just claim they share your unused net traffic with data scientists. Peronsally I didn’t notice anything fishy when using the app. But since you’re never really sure what they are doing behind the scenes, it’s up to you to decide whether you’re okay with how the app operates. However, if you’re not comfortable with this, never fret. Fortunately there are other ways to make money online with minimum effort by joining SwagBucks.com and FusionCash.com that pay you money to do what you normally do online like watching videos, visiting websites, playing games and more.
Is HoneyGain Legit or A Scam?
At the time of this review HoneyGain appears to be legit. I'm basing this on my personal experience and the fact they paid me with no issues. It’s definitely one of the easiest ways I've seen anyone can make passive income with your phone, laptop or desktop as long as your device is connected to the internet. They also have a positive rating on their BBB page at the time of this review. So that may be reassuring to some folks. That being said, based on how much they pay, you can't really depend on this to pay any major bills. It's a nice way to make some pocket money, but you won’t really make large amount of income with HoneyGain.
But you can pile up your earnings when you add other ways to earn like SurveyJunkie.com, SwagBucks.com and FusionCash.com . But if you’re seriously looking for a sure way to make money actively or passively online that will pay the bills, check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.
