But learn the real truth about Maximiles down below. Don't join unless you've read my review. You've been warned.

What is Maximiles?

Maximiles located at www.maximiles.co.uk, is one of those reward get-paid-to websites, that allows its members to earn points for doing various online activities. If you're familiar with PrizeRebel and FusionCash, then it's the same sort of program, but Maximiles seems to be doing a much better job at it.

Operated by Bilendi Limited, and with over two million members, Maximiles is a big player in the European reward website scene. Maxmiles allows you the opportunity to “turn everything you do online into points” then you exchange these points for rewards. You can earn points via their website or mobile app, so you can accumulate points on the go as well.

How Does Maximiles Work?

You sign up, engage in and complete the various online activities you're interested in to earn the associated points, then you redeem those points for the rewards you want. It's that simple.

How to earn points with Maximiles?

There are a variety of ways in which Maximiles allows you to accumulate points:

Surveys, polls and focus groups

For each survey you complete, you can earn a least 500 points and up to 10,000 points for participating in focus groups. Even if you get disqualified from a survey, you'll receive 5 points and 15 points for each survey profile you fill out.

Read emails

For every email you read from Maximiles, you receive 5 points.

Watch videos

Maximiles offers tons of videos from which you can choose to watch. The videos aren't long and each video shows you how much points you'll receive for watching and rating.

Register with websites

When you register with other websites via Maximiles, you can receive 100 to 300 bonus points. You'll also get points for participating in free trial offers and information requests.

Shop online

You can also collect points when you shop online at Maximiles' retail partners. But it's more than just shopping. For example, you can bank and book your vacation via Maximiles. You earn 1 point for every ?1 you spend.

Refer friends

You can also earn points when you refer others to join their program. You can earn 1500 points for each referral, provided that your referral also accumulates 1500 points.

Did you know you can earn real money doing the same thing at sites like SurveyJunkie.com, InboxDollars.com, Swagbucks.com and Fusioncash.com? Well, now you know. If you're already turned off by the idea of points and want to deal with real cash working part time or full time, you should check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation.

How Does Maximiles Pay You?

With Maximiles, you've got over 300 gift cards to choose from. Not just gift cards, but you can also choose from various items such as music, books, beauty products, home ware and much much more. Maximiles Hacks or Tips

Referral program

If you want to make the best of this opportunity, then you should definitely capitalize on Maximiles' referral program. The more people you refer, the more points you accumulate. But sometimes this can be a challenge to get it done the right way. Word-of-mouth would only take you so far in an online world. So if this is something you want to learn how to do, to make the best of this opportunity, then you definitely need to check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation.

Maximiles Complaints

Overall, Maximiles user reviews have been very, very, positive. But you know some of us human beings; the first thing we do when things aren't going our way is to complain about it. So here are a few complaints.

Ditch the gift section

That's understandable. Some members would prefer to have the option of redeeming their points for actual real cash, instead of gifts. Raise your hand, if you would NOT like to have a cash option. Thought so. Lol. Let's face it, having a cash option means you can spend that money any way you see fit.

Not a lot of surveys

There are a few complaints about Maximiles not offering many surveys. Then again, getting a survey depends on the information the client is looking for and if you fit the audience they're looking for. So demographics play a big role here as it does with all survey sites. If your demographics don't fit, well… you know, No surveys for you my friend. But you can smarten up and have multiple streams of online income. You can start by making more money taking surveys SurveyJunkie.com or even doing what you already do online like watching videos and visiting websites at FusionCash.com, InboxDollars.com and SwagBucks.com. But hey, if you are looking for real money online, check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation.

Takes a while to earn points

Well, um, yeah. How much time can you dedicate to reading emails or watching videos per day? Then you only make so many points with surveys and if you're not getting any surveys, then there aren't any points to be had. See where I'm going with this?

Is Maximiles Legitimate or Scam?

Maximiles is definitely legitimate. Even so, it's not something to quit your job over. It would be hard to make any consistent part time or full time income with this on your own.

That said, if you want more options and believe in multiple streams of income, you may also want to look into SurveyJunkie.com, InboxDollars.com, Swagbucks.com and Fusioncash.com.

Now if you're looking for an opportunity that would allow you to kick that 9 to 5 to the curb, then you definitely need to check out my Top Free Work At Home Recommendation and my Work At Home Courses. With multiple streams of income, you can be on your way to earning cash instead of redeeming points for gift cards.

But as always, the choice is yours. I hope you enjoyed reading my Maximiles review and feel free to share your thoughts and your online earning income experiences with me. If you enjoyed this article you can read more work at home reviews here.

  1. Hi Eddy!
I have tried to participate in surveys online. All those I have attended have been free to join in.
But I’ve felt every time that I spent too much time compared to what I got out of participating.
You talk about a point here.
But what do you get for the points as they gather together?
My skepticism stems little in that I have never received any payment although it has been promised. What, however,
I’ve got my mailbox filled with all sorts of other offers. Hope you understand that I have a little trouble believing that it’s different here.

  2. Thank you, Eddy, for your informing regarding Maximiles. Sites that claim to pay you for surveys, reading emails, and clicking on things usually wind up being more trouble than it’s worth. In essence, you are the prospect. It took me a couple times to realize this. I did click on your Top Recommendation and agree with you. I had to LOL at your analogy of trying to “find the lost sock in the laundry”. Good stuff! 🙂 Your suggestions are solid and well thought out. I enjoyed your post!

    • Yea, I agree get paid for sites like this can be more frustration than good. But it all depends on the site and a person’s needs. Thanks for chiming in. I aprpeciate it and the kind words.

  3. Hi Eddy,

I know that you compared this European site Maximiles to the more well-known Fusion cash site here in the U.S. It also reminded me of Swag Bucks in that the site offers a lot of ways for a person to earn money, (in small caps) though a lot of time would be needed.

The thing is that these types of sites exist online is because of people who want to earn money, (again small caps) anyway they can and as easily as possible.

I look at it as being an opportunity that while it has some good to it, nevertheless does not come anywhere close to earning minimum wages here in the U.S., and probably in Europe for that matter as well.

Your #1 recommendation posted several times through the article is still the best way in which a person truly serious about earning passive income online. One that does not involve survey taking, playing games, watching videos, reading emails, etc for at most pennies/hour.

I also agree about one of the complaints that you listed. Who would want to receive a “gift” for spending hours in building up points when instead cold hard cash, (small caps) would be available instead?

    • Thanks Jeff. I tend to agree with most of what you’re saying. If you do the math, it definitely doesn’t add up. But some people argue the same thing about starting a business. Because initially you don’t see anything if at all. But in time it does start to pay off big time. I can’t say this can be argued with sites like this. But to each their own.

  4. Eddy with a “Y”!! Awesome information. I love it, everyday I find something unique on the internet and I look forward to having something like this available to US residences. There are just so many ways to make money online. I think this is fantastic for so many different walks of life. Especially during the holidays, right?! What a great way to build up some points just in time for buying holiday and bday presents.

  5. Thank you for sharing, it’s not bad to know about alternate methods of earning money or rewards. I haven’t actually tried similar websites like Maximiles that you’re talking about in your article.

I’ve heard they just take a lot of time and effort to actually achieve any worthwhile progress on these kinds of sites. But I don’t know I have never tried it.

I can recommend this to my friend who I have know have interests for such things. Thanks again for sharing, and good luck on your journey.
