Let's face it none of us like dealing with crappy customer service. If you experience it, you may decide never to do business with a company again. Well, companies know this. So they go to great lengths to ensure their employees treat customers well. They do this by paying people to shop in secret and share their experience. You probably already know this, that's why you're going through several Mobee app reviews.
Well, we have everything you need to know about the mystery shopping app. So, if you want to know whether it's the real deal or a waste of time, then I strongly suggest you read this Mobee app review. You've been warned!
What is Mobee?
Mobee found online at mobeeapp.com is a mystery shopping app that claims to pay people to shop in secret and share their experience. Mobee's parent company Wiser Solutions was founded by Prahar Shah (CEO) and Thibault Le Conte (CTO) Shah in Silicon Valley, California on September 15, 2017.
How Does Mobee App Work?
Once you download the app and create an account with your email and a password, you can start to search for mystery shopping jobs also known as missions.
These missions range from dining at a restaurant for free, to shopping at a store near you, to trying out a product, or even getting coffee.
Either way, once you complete the mission you'll answer a few questions about your experience at the location using the app.
Once you submit the feedback Mobee will review it within 48 hours and either approve or reject your feedback. If they approve it they'll give you redeemable points that will reflect in your balance. That's about it!
What Rewards Does Mobee Offer?
Besides PayPal money, you can redeem your points for gift cards of popular stores like Amazon, Target, Starbucks, WalMart, BestBuy and many others.
But perhaps a better way of earning money and free gift cards without having to leave your house is through sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com. You'll get paid to do what you already do online like watching videos, sharing your opinion, reading emails, playing games and more. You can also make money taking surveys at a site like SurveyJunkie.com.
But if you're looking for an opportunity to make real money working part time or full time at home, you may want to check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.
How Much Money Can I Make With Mobee App?
They say one Mobee point is equal to roughly one cent. A $25 Amazon gift card is worth 2500 points, and to get PayPal money you'll need at least 5000 points.
Most missions that last for roughly 5 minutes pay anywhere between 100 and 500 points. Longer missions that last for roughly 15 minutes pay better.
You can also refer others and earn 300 points when your referral completes their first mission.
So how much you earn largely depends on how many missions you can complete, the length of the mission, and how many missions actually available.
But apparently some missions require you to make a purchase. Even though they reimburse you for your spend, you'll have to do the math and determine whether the mission is worth it or a waste of time.
How Do I Become A Mobee Secret Shopper?
To join Mobee you'll first have to download the free app on either an Apple or Android device as mentioned earlier. You'll then create an account, fill out some personal details and start looking for missions based on your location.
Did you know you can get paid to download apps like Mobee on sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com? Well, now you know. However, you can't really make a living off earning rewards. If you want a work at home opportunity that actually pays the bills, check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.
Mobee Secret Shopper Complaints
So on paper this all sounds good. But with every good comes some of the shady stuff. And fortunately for you, we've dug up the dirt about Mobee app to help you know whether it's something you would want to try out.
Your location determines your paycheck
Mobee will only show you missions that are very close to your location. Some users say you can go for days or even a whole week without scoring a single mission. But the missions show up if you happen to go out of your local town or area. So it seems unless you live near a big city, the Mobee app is not really worth it.
But hey, your location doesn't really matter for sites like SurveyJunkie.com who will pay you to make money just for sharing your opinion from anywhere.
No BBB Profile
If you live and die by Better Business Bureau ratings, then you may be out of luck. At the time of writing this review, Mobee is not registered with the BBB.
Mobee App Alternatives
If anything you read above makes you feel uneasy, don't worry. There are other mystery shopping apps out there to consider. They all have their pros and cons as well. Bestmark Mystery Shopper and Secret Shopper are alternatives you may want try out.
Is Mobee Secret Shopping Legit or A Scam?
Mobee app is not a scam. There are no real red flags that suggests they are into anything shady. But keep in mind it's not a work at home opportunity. You'll actually have to leave the comfort of your home to make money with it. Furthermore if you happen to live in the boondocks you're unlikely to get much work.
But fortunately there are sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com and InboxDollars.com that will pay you to do what you already do online. You can also share your opinion about products and services you use every day at SurveyJunkie.com. The best part is, you don't have to take off your jammies to make money. It's all work from home.
That said these opportunities aren't meant to pay major bills. They're great for a little extra cash. But if you're looking for an opportunity to make real money working part time or full time at home, you may want to check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.

Eddy “with a Y”
I don’t understand why people are willing to “review” apps they clearly haven’t touched. I’m assuming they paid you but I wish you would’ve at least bothered to try it yourself, even a week. It absolutely is a scam, just not in the traditional sense. The refusals rate and reasons are insane. Most of what you do will be unpaid labor. Most of the instructions are impossible to do covertly, and can also be vague. M is right, they come up with EXCUSES to not approve you, even after appeal, and that seems to be by design. Out of probably 50 missions, I maybe had 7 approved. You really should try it for yourself and see if you can still find the heart to post it, especially as “not a scam.”
This app is a complete scam!! You are doing great if they approve 40% of your missions!! If I could leave a photos I would!
Dont use mobee they deny your MISSIONS, pin the wrong location of the shop and than say you did it wrong after you drive to the location.
This app is pure scam. They stole $700 from me. They will come up with all the excuses in the world not to pay you. Don’t waste your time.
Thanks M???
