Chances are you stumbled upon this page because you're looking for real MyView Reviews. But you're probably running into all the fluffy stuff that isn't giving you the good, bad and ugly. Well if you're tired of that and want to know the truth about MyView, then you'll enjoy reading my review below. If you were looking to this company for real money, you're about to be disappointed. Read on to discover why.
What is MyView?
MyView is an online survey and rewards website that allows its users to interact with others who share the same passions, while taking surveys and earning rewards. Located at www.myview.com, MyView is owned and operated by Critical Mix, which also operates One Opinion. MyView was started by C0-founders Hugh Davis and Keith Price.
How to Make Money with MyView Surveys?
Surprisingly there are several ways in which you can earn money with this company. Check out some the ways below.
Completing online surveys
Duh! You can make money doing online surveys which include daily surveys, teen surveys, and IT surveys.
Sweepstakes
Every month, MyView provides the opportunity for one lucky member to win $1,000 and five members to win $200 each. Who knows, you can be a lucky winner at some point, since all MyView panel members have a chance to win. I'm not big on chances, I like to guarantee the money I can make. If you feel the same way, you may want to consider my Top Work At Home Recommendation.
Product testing and Polls
You can test products that haven't yet hit the market and you can take polls via the community or you can create your own poll question, if you want to find something out.
How Does MyView Pay You?
Apart from the sweepstakes offers, you can earn gift cards or cash for your participation in the various activities offered. Once you've accumulated 3,000 points, you can request a $10 reward. However, some rewards require an accumulation of 34,000 points, to redeem $25 worth reward. Even so, MyView offers quite a number of reward items to choose from, and is referred to as a haven for gift card lovers. You can redeem gift cards from Amazon, WalMart, various restaurants, and iTunes, just to name a few. Gift card increments include $20, $50, and $100.
How Do You Join MyView?
MyView is free to join. However you must be 13 years and over to join. Another requirement is that you must be a resident of the United States, U.K. or Australia. If you're under the age of 18, you must have permission of your parent or guardian to become a member. Now if you don't live in any one of the countries mentioned, you may want to check out my Top Work At Home Recommendation instead.
MyView Complaints
Now according to MyView, they provide you with the opportunity, and “all you have to do is share your opinions and choose your rewards.” Well, for some that might be the case, but from all accounts it really isn't that simple or easy. For a site that claims that it centers around you, you sort of get the idea that that's not really the case. Check out the complaints below and you'll see what I mean.
Not enough points per survey
After trying for 3 hard months, I am done! There have been complaints about the low points threshold per survey and the length of time it takes to accumulate enough points to redeem rewards.
So much time wasted to make little or no progress
Being well into a survey and getting an error link before you actually complete the survey, thwarts the process doesn't it? If you can't complete the survey you don't get all the points. Added to that, you have to take the time to qualify for a survey, which you may not even qualify for. Wouldn't all of this frustrate the living daylights out of you and make you feel as if you were wasting your time?
No surveys today
Oops, try again tomorrow. But tomorrow never comes in “Survey Land.” Some people have complained about not getting any surveys for at least a couple of weeks or months. Not a single invite! That means, no surveys, no points. No points, no rewards. So if you were hoping to do a few surveys for a monthly cash out, you just might have to rethink your strategy.
A few more Complaints
Any survey would be nice
Some members have complained that they haven't had a survey since joining Myview. My goodness! A situation like this, certainly delays your efforts to engage in making a little extra cash. I guess this is what happens when you don't fit the requirements. But if you feel that this could be different for you, then give it a shot.
Account corrupt
Something is wrong with your account but there is nothing that we can do about it. Oh come on. Seriously! What could be so wrong with an account that it cannot be fixed? I don't know about you, but this is definitely a level of frustration I can do without.
No longer a top site
Hey, don't shoot the messenger! I'm just letting you know what some people are saying. It seems like some users are becoming frustrated having to wait for surveys and getting screened out halfway into the survey. Added to that, the low survey points value aren't helping either. Some long time users have reported that MyView is no longer their favorite survey site. Oops.
Is MyView Legitimate or Scam?
MyView is definitely legitimate. But don't you think that your time deserves to be rewarded much better than with a few points? Now don't get me wrong. I have nothing against surveys and if that's how you want to spend your time, then hey, that's your call. It's just that in my view (pun intended), there are much better ways to earn extra cash from the comfort of your home. Now if that's something you're interested in then you definitely need to check out my Top Work At Home Recommendation and my Work At Home Courses. With multiple streams of income, you can earn way more than gift cards.
Well that's it for my review on MyView. I've said my piece and as usual it's your decision to make. Thanks for reading and be sure to share your thoughts and experience with me.
Until next time,
Eddy with a y
From all of the complaints that I saw, whether MyView is legitimate or not, I don’t think that I would sign up. There are a lot of survey companies, like this one, that make it seem so easy doing surveys to make money. Many times that is not the case and you have to do a lot more than is advertised to make any money.
Agreed. Thanks for sharing your insight.
Hey Eddy with a y, lol. Thanks for your detailed review on Myview survey. I have tried a couple of survey sites in the past and didn’t make a lot of money. But I’m interested when some new survey site comes. That’s why I came to your site, because wanted in-depth review. Thanks for explaining to me what this program is about.
You’re welcome Karlo. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
“Eddy with y” thank you for saving me a lot of time and frustration. I already subscribe to enough survey sites that provide me with plenty of that. I have bookmarked your site and come to see if you have any information before I commit to any work from home opportunity.
You’re very welcome Nick! I’m glad you liked the site. Please feel free to share it with others.
Wasn’t familiar with this survey site to be honest. Seems like most survey sites these days aren’t doing as well. I know some are great, but most of them are becoming too much of a hassle to work with. Thank you for your review on this site. Keep up the great work!

You’re welcome Francisco.
Hi Eddy,
Thanks for all the great info on the survey sites. I saved your website to my favorites. I’m trying to learn how to make money online. I’m glad I found a smart guy like you willing to teach new people like me. Thank you for everything that you do and thanks for helping me get started in the tight direction.
Pete
P.S. I sent 6 of my friends to your site. They want you to teach them too!
Thanks Pete. I appreciate that.
Hey Eddy
This is another great review. I have tried several survey sites and made very little money from them. Many of the surveys I did not even qualify to take and it was a waste of my time. So I moved on from trying to make money that way.
Thanks Jeff, I agree that surveys usually lead to disappointment rather than actual money.
Great honest review of Myview surveys, I started out doing similar jobs online, but now I have turned to affiliate marketing and dropshipping, it can be a slow process but with time and a lot of learning it can be a very successful work from home career.
Hey Brian, thanks for sharing your insight. It sounds like you made the same move I did when I got tired of survey sites like this.
