I think we are becoming slaves of our own inventions. Barely a day will go by without something getting automated. But computers can only do so much for us. That's why companies like OneSpace find these tasks that only humans can do and pay people to do them. If you're here, you are probably going through OneSpace reviews to know whether you can actually make money doing on-demand short tasks.

Well, we have the good, the bad and the ugly about the company, and we've laid them all out in this review. So, let's dig in, shall we?

UPDATE: According to one of their reps, “We no longer offer freelancer services!” So the review below is no longer accurate.

What Is OneSpace?

Onespace.com (formerly Crowdsource) is a website that claims to pay remote freelance workers to do short, on-demand tasks like data entry, writing, editing, transcription… you get the drift.

The website was co-founded by Stephanie Leffler (CEO) and Ryan Noble (President) and has been in business for the past 12 years. It is currently headquartered at 33 Bronze Pointe Blvd, Swansea, IL 62226-8305.

How Does OneSpace App Work?

You probably have heard of Amazon Mechanical Turk or Clickworker. Well, Onespace is pretty much the same concept. Once you create an account and get in, you can pick any job you feel you can complete and once they approve it you get your money.

What Kind of Jobs Are Available At OneSpace?

There are quite a number of jobs available on OneSpace. Here are a few examples.

  • Data entry
  • Transcription
  • Writing and editorial
  • Opinion Sharing
  • Market Research
  • Image tagging
  • Translation

Most of these OneSpace jobs are short, simple tasks that typically take a few minutes to do. Obviously, writing and translation jobs take more time and effort.

If none of these tasks appeal to you, did you know you can make money online other ways on sites like SurveyJunkie.com, SwagBucks.com, InboxDollars.com and FusionCash.com? You'll basically be earning cash doing what you already do online like watching videos, sharing your opinion, watching videos and much more. So it may be an alternative or additional option to try as well.

How Much Can I Make At OneSpace?

Short tasks don't pay much, mostly 10 cents per task. It could be more if the task is heavy. Writing pays between $0.02 and $0.035 per word.

But that's the baseline. If these rates aren't appealing to you, that's fine. You may want to try My Top Work At Home Recommendation where you can make a full or part time income in time. Whereas OneSpace is designed to help you earn a few extra bucks.

How Does OneSpace Pay You?

OneSpace says they try to pay workers as soon as they approve the job. That typically takes 24-48 hours. Be that as it may, they release approved payments every day 9AM CST via PayPal. But your PayPal account must be verified, meaning you must have linked it to a credit card or bank account.

How Do I Join OneSpace?

To get started, all you need to do is create an account here with your email and a password. You'll also need to have your CV with you. It seems you can join this company from anywhere in the world as long as you can access PayPal.

What We Like About OneSpace

International Love

I am a huge fan of companies that do enough to spread the love. OneSpace is international, which is probably something worth trying for y'all who've been asking me about international work at home jobs.

Daily Payments

If you're looking to make a quick buck every day via PayPal, then OneSpace is probably something you can take a shot at.

But hey, you may want to know the bad and the ugly about the company on the next section.

OneSpace Complaints

So far you've heard what's good about OneSpace. But we know there are two sides to every story. You're probably better off knowing the bad and the ugly, before you decide on whether to join the company. So, here's the one thing that will piss you off about OneSpace.

“Don't hand in your two-weeks' notice”

Don't think you can live off a OneSpace paycheck, no matter where you are in the world. According to some OneSpace workers, you'll barely able to find something worth your time.

Most jobs just pay a few cents and you'll have to stretch your dignity to its limits to take up the cents.

But here's an idea, how about you have multiple streams of income? You can make money taking surveys at SurveyJunkie.com, or doing what you do online like watching videos and visiting websites at SwagBucks.com, InboxDollars.com and FusionCash.com.

Is OneSpace A Scam?

OneSpace is not a scam. They seem pretty legit and their rating with the Better Business Bureau is a solid A+. But as most other companies that offer small tasks, it will be hard to make any decent amount of money when the pay is so little. If you're looking to make money that can actually pay your bills, check out My Top Work At Home Recommendation.

But if you're looking to make a little extra cash online, you can earn money taking surveys at SurveyJunkie.com or doing what you basically do online like visiting sites and watching videos at SwagBucks.com, InboxDollars.com, and FusionCash.com.

Well, that's my OneSpace review. Feel free to chime in your thoughts in the comments section below. If you still have questions about the company, you can read their FAQ section here.

Until next time
