You have probably realized by now that there are hundreds of Amazon FBA courses out there, so it can be overwhelming to try and find the right one. But can these courses really help you make money with Amazon? If you are asking yourself that question, then you have probably been looking at several Proven Amazon Course Reviews.
Let's dive into this and have a look at the good, bad and ugly about the Proven Amazon Course by Jim Cockrum.
What is the Proven Amazon Course?
Provenamazoncourse.com was founded in 2009 by Jim Cockrum. It is a membership course which includes webinar recordings, video tutorials, PDFs, and other training resources. They train people who want to know more about creating an Amazon FBA business.
How Does the Proven Amazon Course Work?
The Proven Amazon Course teaches people how to sell any type of product on Amazon. It covers all the technical aspects like how Amazon selling works, what to do to source products (no matter where you live), how to start up your Amazon FBA business, the process of shipping products to your customers, and how to accept and process payments or refunds.
The course also helps students with marketing, advertising products, driving traffic to their Amazon store, and steps to automate the entire process.
Here is a list of some of the training you can expect to find inside the members area:
- Proven Bundling Course. This includes 14 videos that teaches the basics, examining your product, determining profit, listing your Amazon product, and more.
- Sourcing Products Master Class. This section includes more than 3 hours of videos which teaches about advertising the product, spying on sellers, and dropshipping.
- PDFs – in the members you will get downloadable PDFs such as How to Leverage FBA Status from Chris Green, Understanding the Amazon Customer from Chris Green, an Introduction to Sales Tax from Mark Faggiano, and Winning The Buy Box from Skip McGrath.
- Mentorship Webinars. This includes almost 40 hours of mentor videos such as how to get to $50,000 per month, sourcing on a budget, Amazon business while you are on the road, handling negative feedback, and more.
How Much Does the Proven Amazon Course Cost?
At the time of this review, it will cost you a front end fee of $399 or you can pay in three installments of $146. The total cost will then be $438 if you decide to pay over three months.
How Much Money Can You Make with the Proven Amazon Course?
They claim that a lot of their students have turned their Amazon business into seven and eight figures.
There are folks that make this type of money selling on Amazon. But did you know you can also make a lot of money promoting Amazon products without being a seller? Wealthy Affiliate can show you how to do this as well. Or you can even make money for things you do online with sites like FusionCash.com, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com. So, they may be worth checking out too.
What We Like about the Proven Amazon Course
Positive BBB rating
A BBB rating may be a deal breaker for some of you. But you don't have to worry, at the time of writing this, PAC's rating with Better Business Bureau is a solid A+. So that's good!
Multimedia Formats
Boring is one word ya'll won't associate with this course. They make it interesting by offering training through webinars, video training, podcasts, and PDF guides. So, you can switch up the training and use whatever multimedia you prefer.
Out of the box strategies
They have a few internet marketing gurus that do some of the training like Skip McGrath and provide some out of the box strategies like how to bundle products to increase sales. An example they provide in the training is you could do a ”dress your puppy package” and could include a dog treat, sweater, and slippers. The same principle applies to all niches.
Proven Amazon Course Complaints
No matter how highly a course or product is rated there will always be some drawbacks. I want to point out some of the red flags which stood out to me. So, let's jump into the complaints against the Proven Amazon Course to see if this course is really for you.
Video glitches
Some people have claimed the videos don't render correctly and you can't see what is going. I'm not sure if this is just isolated to certain users or if it's actually a problem with the course itself.
Starter course not for beginners
Many people who are buying this course are beginners looking to start using Amazon FBA. But some say the starter courses are too complicated. They claim the lessons are too long and aren't divided correctly so it easy to get overwhelmed with all the information. Companies like Wealthy Affiliate understand this which is why they break down their training so even newbies will be able to understand.
Can you really make as much as they claim?
On their site testimonials they show people earning seven and eight figures per month. But if you read their earnings disclaimer, they say these are just estimates of what people are earning and there is no guarantee you will earn that. So you shouldn't go into this thinking everyone that takes this course will experience the same type of results.
Sales page is too light on information
At the time of this review, I counted over 40 testimonials on their sales page. That's cool but it would have been nice if they went more in-depth about what their courses offer. They seem more focused on pushing all these testimonials in people's faces.
Is There An Alternative?
If something in the complaints section above bothered you, then it might be a good idea to check out other options. Fortunately, there are other options you can have a look at. If you want to make a full time or part time income and interested in starting an internet marketing business, you can check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation. Selling directly on Amazon is not the only way to earn with it. You can earn other ways and my top recommendation can show you how to this.
If you aren't really interested in starting a business and just want to make some extra side income, check out FusionCash.com, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com.
Is the Proven Amazon Course A Scam or Legit?
The Proven Amazon Course definitely is not a scam. They do provide a lot of useful information for Amazon FBA beginners.
They say a lot of people who buy their course end up making seven and eight figures. Sounds great, doesn't it? But what people often miss is the fine print. They make it very clear in their earnings disclaimer that these are just estimates. There is no assurance you will do well. But that's like any business, your results will vary. That said, you're still getting a lot of quality information that can help you earn with Amazon.
Selling on Amazon involves a lot of hands on work before you sell and after you sell an item. It's definitely not passive income and if that's what you are looking for then you may want to check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation. You won't have to deal with customers, refunds, fulling orders, etc.
