What Is Resolution Research?

Resolution Research found online at is a surveys and market research company that pays people like you and I to share their opinion about products and services in business, education, medicine and related industries.

The surveys website is run by Resolution Research Inc., a Denver-based market research company that has been around since 1996. They are currently headquartered in 490 S Santa Fe Dr Unit E Denver, CO 80223-2105.

How Does Resolution Research Work?

Basically when companies want to conduct some sort of market research campaign they employ survey companies like Resolution Research to reach out to a defined demographic. Resolution Research then comes up with ways of collecting this information and they are willing to pay people for their opinion. They accept panelists who can do the following

  • Focus Groups
  • Product and Device Tests
  • Taste Tests
  • Mock Juries
  • Online Surveys
  • In-Person Interviews and more

You can start the registration process here. You'll need to create your user profile.

This involves signing up with your email and a password. Then you'll need to provide your full name, age, country, household income, interests and so on.

You'll only qualify for surveys that best match your profile. So you may need to be as detailed as possible. If a company wants someone like you Resolution Research will email you surveys invitations. That's pretty much the process in a nutshell.

How Much Money Can I Make With Resolution Research?

They don't clearly say how much they pay per survey. But based on what people who work for the company say, you can make as little as $5 and as much as $400 per session, depending on the length, difficulty and nature of the gig.

But the well paying gigs require you to make the trip to Denver, CO where they usually conduct one-on-one interviews and mock jury sessions. You can also make 50 cents for every person you refer that completes at least one survey. But only get paid for the first 10.

Why limit yourself to Resolution Research? There are other companies willing to pay you for your opinion such as Or maybe you don't like the idea surveys are only available depending on your profile. You'll have to move to make money

From what we gathered, the best paying gigs require you to move your ass. Panelists say you may have to show up in Denver to make those couple of hundreds offered for focus groups. But all in all, panelists say it's not worth your time unless you go to them or you're some sort of industry professional.

Fortunately you don't have to move an inch to make money taking surveys and also doing what you already do online like visiting websites and watching videos at, and

“Where are these surveys you keep singing about??”

Unlike survey-focused sites like, it seems Resolution Research focuses more on one-on-one interviews, mock jury and phone surveys. Online surveys a hell of a lot harder to come by. There are quite a number of people who've never qualified for a single survey ever since they signed up.

Is Resolution Research Safe?

Resolution Research is definitely safe, but it won't pay the damn bills consistently. It's probably good for anyone who doesn't mind making the distance to where they hold mock jury and focus group sessions. Otherwise, its probably not a good fit for anyone looking to make real money online.
