Let's face it, online video is revolutionizing the internet for consumers and businesses. You've probably watched a lot of videos online for pleasure. But did you know you can earn money by selling video marketing software with companies like Talk Fusion? We've decided to write a Talk Fusion review to see if this is a legit way of making money.

If you've already read other Talk Fusion reviews you'll appreciate this one since we'll give you the good, bad and ugly. So let's dive into this review and see if you can really make money with Talk Fusion.

What is Talk Fusion?

Talkfusion.com was founded in 2007 by Bob Reina and their headquarters is in Florida, U.S.

Their primary business is to offer video marketing, communication services, and software to consumers and businesses. But they market these services via their associates and an MLM model.

What Are The Talk Fusion Products?

Over the past 11 years, Talk Fusion has developed various software and tools that allegedly revolutionize the way people communicate with each other. Here is a brief overview of the products and services they offer:

  • Video Email: This allows you to stand out by combining HD videos into your emails. There are over 1000 email templates to choose from.
  • Video Newsletters: This software allows you to create video newsletters on your website which allegedly increases your email opt-in rate. It has drag and drop features so no coding experience is needed.
  • Live Meetings: This is video conferencing software where you can have live meetings for up to 500 people. It allows you to share your files and desktop with the attendees and allows you to record meetings in HD.
  • Video Chat: This is an app that connects people regardless of what device they are using.
  • Sign-up Forms: This allows you to place customized sign-up forms on your website to capture leads. It also sends a follow-up using a video autoresponder.

How Much Does It Cost To Be A Talk Fusion Associate?

As mentioned earlier Talk Fusion uses Associates to sell their services. You're not an employee so becoming a Talk Fusion associate requires an investment.

Associates will need to buy one of Talk Fusion's Builder Packs. The front-end fee covers the costs of the products that associates will need to resell. They also have a monthly fee for each package but it is unclear what these monthly fees cover.

Starter Package

This package will cost a front end fee of $125 plus $20 per month. This package includes their video email software.

Executive Package

This will cost a front end fee of $250 plus $35 per month. With this package, associates will get the Video Communication Suite (limited features).

Elite Package

This package will cost a front end fee of $750 plus $35 per month. This package includes their Video Communication Suite (more advanced features).

Pro Package

This one will cost a front end fee of $1,499 and $35 per month. This package includes their Video Communication Suite (access to all their products).

If you feel these start-up cost are too expensive, I totally understand. Maybe it's outside your budget. Or maybe you just don't feel comfortable with the idea of investing in your own business. Either way, there are other opportunities out there where you can earn money without investing large amounts of money upfront. So you might want to have a look at Wealthy Affiliate, FusionCash.com, InboxDollars.com, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com. All of which can be started at no cost to you.

Talk Fusion Commission Plan

According to Talk Fusion's latest commission plan, there are various ways associates can earn commissions. Like most MLMs some of it will be a little convoluted. But we tried our best to explain them down below.

Fast Start Bonuses

For each person that gets referred, associates can earn a fast start bonus based on which package they sell:

  • Executive Package – $20 commission
  • Elite Package – $60 commission
  • Pro Package – $120 commission

Team Commissions

To earn commissions for associates you may recruit under you, you need to create two teams; one on their left and one on their right. Each product has different Sales Volume (SV) points. Associates earn $25 as soon as they get 100 SV points in both their left and right teams. Any points which are left over are carried over to the next cycle.

Mega Bonuses

Talk Fusion also rewards top associates with various incentives such as five-star vacations, Rolex watches, C Class Mercedes-Benz, and diamond rings.

How Much Money Can Talk Fusion Associates Make?

According to their FAQ section in their compensation plan, associates can allegedly earn a maximum of $50,000 per week.

What I like about Talk Fusion

Positive BBB Rating

I know a rating with the Better Business Bureau is important to some of y'all and could be a deal breaker. You will be happy to know that Talk Fusion has an A+ rating at the time of this review. Wealthy Affiliate, FusionCash.com, SurveyJunkie.com, InboxDollars.com and Swagbucks.com have positive BBB ratings as well.

30 Day Money Back Guarantee

It's rare to find an MLM that provides you with a money back guarantee. As per clause 26, associates can try it for 30 days and if it doesn't work, there is no obligation to carry on. So that's pretty cool they offer associates a whole month to try it out and receive a full refund on their builder package.

Talk Fusion Complaints

Now that the positives are out the way, we found quite a lot of red flags against Talk Fusion. But, I will leave that for you to decide whether these are deal breakers or not.

Most associates aren't making money

So they state that associates can allegedly earn a maximum of $50,000 per week. If you read the fine print in their income disclosure, they say these figures are not guaranteed. Looks like they are throwing these huge amounts around to get people to sign up. You will also notice in their income disclosure that 58.85% of associates made no money in 2017. These figures don't lie and as you can see, making money is a long shot.

The start up costs may be too pricey…

I know that investing in your business is a requirement because you need to spend money to make money. But some may think Talk Fusion's start-up costs are too high. Depending on which package you buy, you could be investing up to $2,000 per year. That's a lot of money to spend especially when you consider that nearly 60% of associates had no earnings in 2017.

If you're anything like me you want to limit your potential losses or keep upfront business costs at the minimum. Luckily there are other opportunities out there where you can get started for FREE, like My Best Work At Home Recommendation. Other sites which also don't require any start-up costs are InboxDollars.com, FusionCash.com, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com.

Smells like A Pyramid Scheme

Talk Fusion is disguised as an MLM but seems to be acting more like a pyramid scheme. Most pyramid schemes focus on recruiting associates and not selling products. Although Talk Fusion does have products to sell, the focus of their company seems to be recruiting associates.

They have been slapped with a Class A lawsuit as documented in this 416 page document for deceptively operating a pyramid scheme. I guess we'll see how that plays out. But that's not a good sign for me.

Lack of training

Apparently there is little to no training from what we've heard. From what we've heard what you are given is a video which you are supposed to show people in order to recruit them. Any serious business should have solid training in place to teach their associates how to sell the products in addition to recruiting. It feels like they do the bare minimum in that respect.

Is There A Better Alternative to Talk Fusion?

If something in the complaints section alarmed you there are other options you might want to explore that keep it real and don't give you a lot of hype.

My Best Work At Home Recommendation can show you how to create a long term business that can provide you a full time or part time income. You'll be working with major companies you already know and love. So that may be worth checking out.

If you're not interested in being your own business owner, you can make some side income at sites like InboxDollars.com, FusionCash.com, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com.

Is Talk Fusion A Scam?

Talk Fusion has some good products which make communication easier but does that mean I would still recommend them? Probably not.

As mentioned in the complaints, there seems to be too much focus on recruiting associates and not the product. That's usually a bad sign and how MLMs end up being shut down for being a pyramid scheme. They claim you can allegedly earn $50,000 per week but their own stats reveal that up to 60% of their associates are making no money.

Another red flag is the high start-up costs their associates are expected to pay especially since there is no guarantee you will even make your investment back. But they do offer a money back guarantee for 30 days. So that is a good way to minimize your loss.

So that's my two cents on Talk Fusion. Now that you know the good, bad, and ugly about Talk Fusion, you can decide for yourself if this is something you want to join. If you have any other questions, you can check out their FAQ section here.
