How Does Teespring Work?
In a nutshell, Teespring enables you to design and sell things like t-shirts, backpacks, phone cases and mugs. But let's dive into how the whole process goes down.
- Choose a product to sell. The first step after signing up would be to choose what you want to sell. You can check out the full product range here.
- Come up with a design. If say you've chosen to design a t-shirt all you have to do is click on the website's built-in editor to get started.
- Describe your design and name your price. Once you're done with your design you can describe it and name your price. Teespring allows you to choose the selling price of your product. They'll first give you the base price, allowing you to set the selling price. That means you also get to set your profit.
- Promote your creation. From here you're now free to start promoting your design. You can either do that yourself or use their various marketing channels and tools.
- Get paid. They say you get to keep the full profit from every sale you make. You're free to collect your earnings once they show up in your Teespring wallet.
As mentioned earlier, as a designer you get to keep the profit, all they do is give you the base price (minimum selling price). But let's look at a few examples of what to expect at Teespring.
At the time of writing, t-shirts and tank tops go for $25 on average, allowing you at least a $15 profit, while hoodies average $30 a piece with a base price of $15. Same goes for women's leggings. You can make at least $5 selling socks.
Also, you would expect to make at least $10 profit from pillows, towels and home d?cor items. Phone cases can fetch you $13 if you go with the selling price Teespring recommends. Mugs can fetch you at least $5, and at least $10 of backpacks.

And as mentioned earlier, you can also promote your items by, for example, setting discounts or promo codes. All the same, your talent and marketing skills will determine how much you make.

Still waiting to make my first sale
It seems Teespring is meant for social media influencers and Youtubers with massive following who create and sell items to their legion of fans. If you're just starting and don't have an idea of whom to sell to, you'll find it hard making sales on Teespring. Some designers say they hardly made any sales in their first few months of starting out. Others say products from new users get buried under those created by famous sellers on the site. So making it up the pecking order can be hard if your marketing skills suck.
If this complaint makes you feel uncomfortable, there are other ways to make money online. Sites like Swagbucks.com, Fusioncash.com and InboxDollars.com pay you for things you already on on the web like watching videos, reading emails and more. Is Teespring Legit or A Scam?
Teespring is definitely not a scam. It's a fun way of using your creative talent to make money. But you'll need to do the marketing yourself if you're going to make anything decent here. All they provide is training on how to boost your sales. All the same, nothing we came across pointed to anything shady, and their rating with the Better Business Bureau is also positive.
So with that said, it's always good to know other ways you can make money online apart from designing and selling custom products. You can earn money doing what you already do online like watching videos, reading emails, playing games, visiting websites and much more at sites like SwagBucks.com, FusionCash.com, InboxDollars.com and taking surveys at SurveyJunkie.com.
