I Need To Replace My Income!

If you're on this page, you've either been fired, laid off, looking for a career change, recently divorced, widowed or trying to get back into the work force. It really doesn't matter what the reason is, we're here to help! Chances are you have some major bills like rent, mortgage, car loan, etc., that need to be paid relatively soon. So an extra income opportunity that earns you a few extra bucks isn't really ideal. A home based business would be a great option but you probably don't have the time or money it requires to make it successful enough to replace your lost income.

So that pretty much leaves you with one choice which is a work at home job where you're paid a set salary for a given amount of hours you work. It's very much like an offline job except you'll do it from home. Now please keep in mind what your past work experience may not be an available work at home option. You pretty much have to adjust to what's actually in demand! For instance, if you were a school crossing guard, a “sandwich” technician or a Janitor, chances are you're not going to find any work at home jobs related to your experience. Sorry, I don't make the rules or create these jobs. In cases where you experience isn't really conducive to working at home, you'll have to adjust accordingly and try to mold yourself and experience into the jobs that are actually available. It's the only way to be successful when it comes to work at home jobs.

Now that's out the way, let's get into the resources that will help you find legitimate work at home jobs. Half the battle is won because you're on this site.

1. DAILY WORK AT HOME JOBS PAGE –

We list VARIOUS new and pre-screened legitimate jobs daily on this site in our work at home jobs page, listed here.

2. A LIST OF COMPANIES THAT TEND TO HIRE WORK AT HOME SEEKERS –

In addition to our work at home jobs page which is updated daily, we've compiled a list of Work At Home Companies listed here, which tend to have work at home jobs available in various industries. Please note that they may not be hiring at the time you visit them. But may be in the future so it's worth visiting in addition to our job page which is updated regularly.

3. WEEKLY RECAP OF OUR JOB LEADS –

Every week we recap all the work at home jobs that we have found here. If you'd prefer to be emailed about these weekly jobs and other work at home opportunities we cover, be sure to become a subscriber by clicking here.

4. FREELANCE JOB SITES –

You can easily replace your income with Freelance jobs sites. They feature various types of jobs in various professions such as Writing, Virtual Assistant, Typing, Programming and more. The great thing is they can all be done online. Freelance sites are different than traditional job sites in that you're bidding on jobs against other employees. For instance let's say an employer wants someone to type a document for $50. You and others can bid for the job and offer to do it for lower or higher than what the employer has requested. This can be a good or bad thing depending on the job and your skills. But there are usually a lot of available jobs at freelance sites. Initially it may be a good idea to bid low. This way you gain some experience. It will also help you get repeating employers. Then eventually as you gain experience and positive feedback you can charge more. Below are some popular freelance sites. They're all free and listed with the BBB in good standing.

5. “BEST” WORK AT HOME COMPANIES –

Many times people ask me what is the best work at home company or what pays the most? The answer to that question is very subjective. What I may consider the best for me may not be an ideal option for you. Also what pays the most all depends on how much money you need to live. The cost of living in NY is very different than the cost of living in the Midwest or another country. When you consider this, it's a very loaded question that is hard to answer. However I'll do my best. I've compiled a list of companies that tend to be popular among work at home seekers or have been given good ratings with the BBB. Then you can decide for yourself among this list what opportunity makes sense for you.

Advice & Tips For Success!

Okay, now you have all the tools you need for your work at home job search! But the tools are half the battle. Here are some other tips that will help you.

– Scams

A lot of times when folks discover this website they venture off to the world wide web trying to find other work at home sites and companies. But the problem with that is not everyone is looking out for your best interest as we are. Even some legitimate work at home and job sites have ads that may be questionable which aren't endorsed by a site but pay the bills. So you need to assume everything is a scam unless you've done your research. Fortunately we've made that easy with our scam video here. Once you've watched that video, you'll know how to research any company and avoid any scam if you follow the advice. We also list more scams here. If you study enough scams you're able to easily spot them even if they change their name or website. So I encourage you to use both these resources because even legitimate jobs can easily be disguised as a scam. For instance most people assume that if something charges you a fee than it's a scam. That may be true sometimes but there are a lot more scams that don't charge you a dime which are just as dangerous. So if you don't understand scams even with the proper job tools we've provided you here, you can end up being a victim!

Persistence

The key to success is to stay vigilant. Just because a job isn't available today, doesn't mean it won't be tomorrow or the day after. As long as you keep coming back and checking, eventually something may come up. In the mean time there are other options that can earn you some money while you try to land a work at home job. Try some of our supplemental income options which can earn you some money right now. It may not be enough to replace your income but it's better than nothing as you wait to land the perfect work at home job.
