Is Superpoints.com a scam or legitimate

Update: As of November 7, 2012 This company is no longer in business. 🙁

We recommend looking into ClixSense.com or FusionCash.com as an alternative.

As you know I'm always looking for new ways to make money online. I hate to admit it, but like many of you I do like finding methods that are EASY and don't require a lot of effort. If that's your mindset you'll probably enjoy the following company in this review. However before I get into it, please keep in mind opportunities that are relativity easy will NEVER pay you a full time salary or enough to cover all your bills. After all that's why they're easy. Websites and people claiming you can make ridiculous amount of money for simple tasks are basically just selling you a pipe dream. We all know what smoking that stuff can lead to!

The reality is that easy opportunities are really good for supplemental or extra money. This can be coupled with other income you may make with a traditional work at home job or business. This is the multiple streams of income philosophy that I preach constantly on this blog. But if you don't buy into this and can't appreciate earning money for something you already do without pay, then don't bother reading this article. Because it's definitely NOT for you. Everyone else you'll probably enjoy this as much as I do.

Now that we've established all this, let's get into today's company, SuperPoints.com

What is SuperPoints.com?

It's basically a website that pays you for using the internet. This company has a pretty good rating with the BBB (Better Business Bureau) if you're into that for validation and has been around since 2008.

You can earn rewards for reading emails, answering surveys, watching videos, trying various products, websites and services. But one of the EASIEST and unique ways of earning with SuperPoints is clicking on their SuperLucky Button a few times a day! Depending on your membership you get a certain number of clicks on that button per day. You randomly earn points for clicking the button. It's sort of like SwagBucks where you randomly earn Swag Bucks for searching on their site. If you're already sucking your teeth and cursing out the idea of damn points, please note points are equivalent to cash which we'll discuss later. So settle down…

Describing how this all works is alright but seeing it in action is a lot more powerful and useful. So you can watch the following video to see how all this works.

This text will be replaced

Pretty cool, huh? Ready to sign up? Click here! But be sure to confirm your email address otherwise you'll limit how much you'll earn with the company. I'll explain later in the sign up section of this review.

How are they able to pay me for using the web?

Who cares? LOL So you're probably thinking to yourself, this sounds too good to be true! After all, why would anyone pay us for things we already do online for free? Well like many of many of my favorite legitimate make money opportunities (SwagBucks, Irazoo, Fusion Cash, etc.) these websites make a lot of money displaying various ads on their site. They're usually paid a number ways for these ads.

For instance, they are paid a certain dollar amount for how many times an ad is viewed on their site. They can be paid every time a visitor clicks on an ad. Or they can even be paid if someone buys a product or service because of the ads. I suspect they're getting paid for all these activities. So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that with thousands of people visiting their website everyday, they're definitely producing a lot of income from these ads. Unlike Google or your favorite TV network they share this income with you via their point rewards system. This is a business model that has been around for years on the web and is totally sustainable because advertisers will always want visibility and visitors. So that's how they're paying you. Your visits and ad viewing makes them money that is shared with you!

What the heck are points? (I want real money!)

Well you already know I wouldn't waste my time or yours if money wasn't involved. Like MySurvey or Swagbucks, SuperPoints.com uses a reward system based on points. But fortunately the points can be redeemed for things we actually care about such as cash, gift cards and electronics. I've redeemed both a paypal payment and an amazon gift card.

Depending on your membership level it can take as little as 500 points to redeem your first cash payment or gift card reward. This may or may not change by the time you read this review.

When do I get my money?

Like many of these non-traditional opportunities, there is a threshold you have to reach before being able to redeem your points for cash, gift cards or other prizes. This threshold amount is based on your membership level with SuperPoints. Either way, once you've redeemed your points you'll usually get your reward within 7-10 days after your request. If you want the cash option, you'll need a Paypal account! So depending on how consistent you are (and other factors), you can conceivably get paid every week!

Here are some screenshots of my payments so you know I'm not bs'ing here: paypal payment and an amazon gift card

What's up with this membership stuff you keep yammering about?

You noticed that huh? First and foremost it's totally free to be a member of SuperPoints regardless of your membership level. So if that's where you were looking to find the catch, it's not happening captain. They've basically created this membership stuff to reward the folks that put in a little more effort than everyone else. That's usually how it works in life anyway, so it shouldn't come as a surprise here. You can see the membership level stuff in a nice little graph here.

If the graph wasn't enough, I'll make an attempt to better explain it here and why you should try to move up membership levels. (Just keep in mind some of this may change by the time you read this review.)

There are 4 membership levels.

None Level:

The first is none. I know, it's not a very sexy level and neither are the perks. At this level it means you just created an account but haven't confirmed your email address. At this level you won't get paid super points emails, you can only click on the super lucky button about 5 times per day which significantly decreases your likelihood of earning. And even if you do earn some points, you can't redeem them at this level until you move up. You don't want to stay at this level. It's basically useless.

Basic Level:

Next is the Basic level. You need to just confirm your email address which is clicking on a link sent to you via email. (Check your inbox or spam folder for this email.) Once you've done that, just fill in your basic profile (which can be accessed by clicking on your name located in the upper right hand corner of the super points website when you're logged in). The advantages of this membership is that you have more clicks (30 of them per day) on the super lucky button which means more chances to earn super points. You're also able to get occasional SuperPoint surveys which earn you even more super points. At this level to redeem your rewards you'll need at least 2500 points. (Again, this may vary by the time you read this.) Everyone should be able to reach this level with little effort.

The next two levels require just a little more effort but reward you well for it. But like all the levels they're optional so don't feel pressured to reach it. Although you will probably want to after reading about them.

Gold Level:

The 3rd membership level is Gold. You need to do everything you did in the Basic level but you must also fill in the advanced profile which gives SuperPoints more information about you. You must upload a valid profile picture and finally invite 2+ friends who move up to the Basic or higher membership level. For all this trouble you receive 50 clicks per day on that super lucky button. When your friends win on the SuperLucky Button you will win the same prize too! So if they win like 300 points from clicking that button so do you! When your friends takes a Super Points surveys and earns points, you earn the same amount of points. Redeeming your rewards only requires 1000 super points!

Platinum Level:

Finally is the Platinum membership. It's basically all the requirements and benefits of the Gold membership except you need at least 5+ friends that are at the Basic or higher membership. Some of the additional perks of being a Platinum member is that you get 100 clicks per day which obviously increases your chances of winning those random points. But in addition to increasing your chances of earning more, you're guaranteed to earn at least 1 point just for clicking on the button for that given day. That's an additional 30 points per month if you just click on the button every day for a month not including the random wins you'll probably get.

So that's the membership levels in a nutshell. Honestly it's pretty easy to reach the higher levels by having your family members and friends sign up using your referral link, confirm their email address and fill in their basic profile. Even if they aren't really active it just pushes you to the next levels which helps you earn more rewards on your own.

How much can I earn?

As we discussed earlier there are many ways to earn points (aka cash) with Super Points. A rule of thumb is the easier the activity is, the less you'll earn. For instance, they have an offer section where you can earn a lot of points for becoming a free member of netflix, downloading games, liking a Facebook fan page, tweeting, taking polls, or signing up for a certain product or service. Since this tends to involve more effort, personal information, etc., they reward you more. But it can be tricky. I suggest reading my Fusion Cash article on how to maximize doing offers without getting burned. The tips provided there apply to any site that pays you for trying offers. It can definitely be very profitable if you approach it the right way but it's not a requirement to earn with SuperPoints!

Points from activities like clicking on the super lucky button or reading an email can really vary. In most cases you'll earn a low amount of points like 1-10 points per winning activity. But there have been times I've earned 10 points for opening an email and 25 points for clicking the button once! I've read where some people earned 300 points for clicking on the super lucky button. So it super random and can really vary. I find that clicking the button a few times a day is easy and the points can really add up pretty quickly every day. So I tend to focus on clicking the button, watching videos, reading the emails and referring others. I'll do an occasional offer if it's really simple like watching a video and doesn't involve a lot of my time or personal information or if it's a well known company I wanted to try anyway.

Is this an international opportunity?

The site is open to members in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Unfortunately it's not open to folks outside these areas. Sorry I don't make the rules!

Do they have a referral program?

Uh…. yeah, why do you think I'm babbling on here? (LOL) Like most of my favorite supplemental income opportunities this company has a referral/affiliate program as well. You earn 25 points if you're referral signs up and becomes a basic member. If you're a Gold or Platinum member you also earn whatever your referral earns from clicking the super lucky button or via taking a survey. Having referrals will also give you a higher membership which means more opportunities to earn points and a lower payout threshold so you can redeem your rewards sooner. Please note some of these particular details may change by the time you read this review. Either way getting referrals is a good idea.

How do I get started?

So if you've heard enough and are ready to get started, just follow ALL of the simple steps below and you'll be good to go and can start earning today.

1. Click here to sign up! (It's free and quick!)

2. Fill out the short form with your REAL contact information.

3. Open your email inbox or spam folder and look for the following email and click on the confirmation link!

4. Sign in and click on the validate link at the top of the page. Fill in the basic profile information.

If you do all of that then you're ready to start with this company. By the way, if you want to increase how much you can earn, you should complete the advanced profile section located in step 4 as well. Ultimately you want your Profile completeness to be at 100% so you're not leaving any rewards on the table. But that's up to you.

Cons

So all of this sounds good in theory. But you already know how I do. I have to give you the ugly stuff too so you don't go into this blind. Now let me cover some of the bad points although there aren't many in my opinion.

1. Don't expect to quit your day job!

Obviously on your OWN you probably won't earn a full time living with this. It's really just a fun way to earn some additional supplemental income or prizes. I plan to use this to do my Christmas shopping. I figure by the end of the year I'll have enough points to do some serious damage. But I wouldn't really depend on this to pay my mortgage. That being said, if you're good at getting referrals it can actually be some decent consistent money. However that's usually not the case for most people. Despite that you can still earn with this opportunity with your own efforts.

2. Patience is a virtue…

A big complaint I hear is that it can take a while to redeem your first reward and thus not worth your time. Depending on your membership level it can be as long as a month to redeem your first reward or as little as a week or two. Honestly it was pretty quick for me and that was even before I had a lot of referrals. But you have to be consistent with your effort. Folks may not feel that putting aside a few minutes per day to get paid for something they already do unpaid is worth their time. But for me it's a no brainer. I always have free time during TV commercials, using the bathroom or when I'm waiting on someone. Sometimes I just multitask and work on SuperPoints as I'm working on the other smaller opportunities. I even just log in with my smart phone and work on it there too. At the end of the day, it may take a bit of patience especially if you don't plan to refer anyone. But over time it does add up.

3. More videos please….

One of the easiest ways to earn points is watching videos. It's very much like Beezag in that respect. Some of these videos are actually very entertaining or informative. But sadly there aren't many of them on a daily basis. I suspect that they are only paid for a certain number of views per day for a given video and if they've met that number then no more videos are provided. So I wish they had more opportunities to get paid for watching videos like SwagBucks offers. That being said, I have discovered that they do add videos randomly during the day. So it's a good idea to check periodically throughout the day even if they say there are none left for the day.

4. Tell me what to do!

I think they should do a better job of encouraging people to complete their profiles and increase their membership levels. When you complete your profile completely you move up in your membership level and thus can earn more points. But I've noticed a lot of people don't even move up to the basic level which is simple and doesn't involve any referrals. I strongly suspect that a lot of this has to do with the fact that members don't know they should perform the additional steps to move up to various levels. Ideally, I'd like to see a MORE prominent message when you first login instead of that little ass Validate link at the top of the member page that can be easily missed or ignored. I would take it a step further by sending an email directing you on what else you should do to get higher membership level. I think doing this would help SuperPoints earn even more ad dollars and we as members would also have a greater opportunity to earn more rewards. It's a win win for everyone. Just be sure you encourage whoever you refer to confirm their email address and fill in their profile so they get the most out of their experience and so you can earn the most out of their efforts too.

5. You've changed on me…

I'll be really real with you. Now that I'm at the highest membership level, I've noticed that my winning amounts for the super lucky button and emails are lower than when I was receiving at the basic or gold membership level. Now with that said I think it sort of balances out. Because it seems like I'm getting a lot more winnings because I have more clicks and now I'm earning on my referrals for some of their activities. So it might be they adjust the winning amounts based on the fact that I'm earning more as a whole on all the additional activities and perks. Either way it's something I noticed. Initially I thought to myself, ain't this a bitch, I'm being penalized for coming up. But when I started doing the mental math, I realized it was still working to my favor. Then again I've always sucked at math. lol

So is SuperPoints.com Legitimate?

It definitely appears that way. It's been around for a pretty long time so hopefully that doesn't change in the near future. I've been paid by them several times already (paypal payment and an amazon gift card) and so have others that I know and respect. It's a fun and addictive way of earning rewards for things you probably already do on the internet. No, it's probably not going to pay your rent or mortgage. But it will definitely add some additional funds in your pocket on a weekly basis if you put in the little effort it requires.

At the end of the day, all these little money making activities count in my book. This is more so the case when you haven't been able to earn a dime with your own make money online efforts. I literally earn several thousand dollars per month as a trained affiliate marketer and despite that I still take advantage of companies like SuperPoints.com every day. I obviously don't need to. But to me, it's easy money. I'll be using the money I earn with this and other smaller sites to fund my christmas shopping or paying for a new gadget I want. If I can earn for what I already do, then why not? Let me know what you guys think about this opportunity? Share your experiences. For those of you who aren't really interested in supplemental income and would prefer something more substantial feel free to visit our work at home jobs page here.

Good luck ya'll!

P.S. As many of you know because of the popularity of my sites I'm pretty decent at getting tons of referrals fairly quickly. It's how I earn my living. That's cool for me but what about you folks who aren't as blessed? Well depending on how many people I see sign up for SuperPoints I may offer anyone that joins under me and is active some free help to get your own referrals. I'll send out details about this in a week or two. So if you're interested chime in below. Include your Super Points user name, and the time and date you earned points and for what activity (clicking the super points button or survey) to get the ball rolling. I'm only interested in helping people that are active!

  1. Superpoints has changed ownership. I notice this page was written in 2012, and a lot of the negative reviews came when they suddenly pulled the plug and left everyone hanging.

But now the summer of 2014 they sold it and now a few of the ways of earning have changed, such as now new members get ten spins daily of the super lucky wheel. I’ve found I usually hit about one in three spins, anywhere from 1 to 1,000 points. At this level you can get very simple prizes.

After about a week of doing spins and watching videos, I moved up to bronze level where I now get 25 spins of the wheel. If I get say, ten points on a spin, the person who referred me also wins but half, or five points. Plus at this level the prizes are a bit better, like $5 Amazon card for 10,000 points, or $10 Target card for 15,000 points.

Shopping thru their site is the fastest way to earn points, and doing surveys gives lots too, but I find it annoying starting a survey only to be disqualified, so I don’t do them as much.

I’ve been at it about two weeks now, and spend about a half-hour a day, and I have 1800 points. It’s easy to sit and click while watching TV. A trick I learned from watching videos, is you only need to watch for one minute to be credited.

    • Hey Joe,

Thanks for updating us about Superpoints. I’ll be honest that all sounds good but I’d be very skeptical of joining again after what the previous management did to members. What’s preventing the new management from repeating the same shady behavior. What are they doing different that will make them sustainable? Until those questions can be addressed I’d be skeptical of giving this effort again. But it sounds like you’re doing well with it. So keep it up while it lasts and keep us posted without the self promotion links though. I’ve associated your link to your name instead as it should be. Thanks again.

  4. Hey Eddy! As always, I enjoy your site. But I wanted to give you a heads up in case you didn’t know (I’m sure you do though) that the Superpoints Network is no more. I had recently signed up and had already racked up some points. I really liked the site. But when I went to the site today, all that was left was an important message from the Superpoints team. I don’t even think they will let you cash out your points unless you had already requested it before their announcement. I’m pretty bummed. Anyways just thought I would share.

    • Thanks Venessa, I’ve been away this month and when I got back I noticed this as well. I really wish they would have given people the opportunity to cash out. It was a fun opportunity while it lasted.

  5. I signed up for Super Points after having done Fusion Cash and being successful. BUT, my problem is, i can’t add any friends. Once people get the email that im able to get them in by invite, it says they are no longer accepting people from my country. What??? And i live in the US! What’s up with that??

  6. Definite ripoff. Received over 2000 points. Went onsite 2weeks ago to click the buttons, was notified my account was cancelled. No reason, no nothing. And as a gold member never received credit for friends points.

    Reply
    • Sorry to hear what happened to you. But there is always two sides of every story. I’ve rarely seen an account cancelled for “no reason”. Usually it’s because someone is cheating or they unknowingly broke the rules. I’m not saying you’re a cheater because I don’t know you. But I’m sure there was a reason. Unfortunately companies aren’t always transparent when things like this happens. Either way, It sucks.

That being said, I’ve cashed out with them many times with no issues. So I can’t argue it’s a scam. But if that happened to me I would be pissed too.

  7. Hi Eddy!
I just stumbled upon your site today, and have looked in to taking advantage of many things you have to offer. I have joined SuperPoints, but didn’t have any luck on the super lucky button! 🙁 Only have 47 points. Trying to get my friends to join under me, but they are skeptical. Can you help me out?

    • The super lucky button is totally random. So as long as you clicking on it regularly and consistently you will win points. People won’t usually join under you unless you can show them you’ve earned yourself especially if it’s your friends and family. That’s why I’ll wait weeks sometimes before I introduce anything on this blog. It tends to work better.

It takes more time but you make it up eventually because people are more inclined to sign up. So keep at it.

  8. Hi Eddy!
I just signed up with Superpoints and I think my username is Michele Krieg.   It didn’t ask me to choose a user name.   So, anyway I signed up 5/7/12 at 11:55 am.   I have earned only 2 points by using the superlucky button!   I am also taking advantage of the Wealthy Affiliate trial!!   So, I would like to learn more about getting more referrals.   This site is sooo awesome!   I’ve told soooo many people at my traditional 8-5 daily grind about your website!

    • Hey Michele,

I do see you have joined and started earning. It’s definitely a lot of fun and gets better. I’m glad you took advantage of the Wealthy Affiliate free trial. It will help you understand web marketing which will help you get more referrals too.

But I’ll be working on my little referral help soon.

Keep taking action on this opportunity. It adds up.

    • Thanks for all your help!   I am looking forward to learning how to do some web marketing!!   I wanted to sign up for the last WA free trial you had offered on your site a little while ago, but lost track of the time and I didn’t make it in time!   This time I didn’t miss it!!!   Thanks, again for all your advice and direction.   It is very much appreciated and valued.

  11.  If it helps, I’ve found that there are many videos that are suddenly available at what I’m assuming is midnight for the server. I don’t know when it would be for you, but for me it’s an ungodly time of morning that I’m usually awake around anyway.

Be sure to check your emails too. They send emails with free points in them. I’m not sure yet since I don’t have much of a sample size, but the speed at which you open those may have a bit to do with how much you get (or I’m just really lucky at the time the get sent out). Like I said, not much of a sample size. You are guaranteed at least one point a day though.

The only thing I’m seeing as completely random so far is the button. No matter what other people are getting, I randomly receive points. There may be hot spots during certain times of day, but like with the emails, I don’t have much of a sample for it (I’ve only been a member for a few of weeks).

You can skip this next part if you want. It’s just my reasoning behind my hypothesis that you get more points (or increase your chances thereof) by opening your emails as soon as possible.

If you care to read my thoughts on why I think the emails may give more points for opening them faster:

At first, I didn’t know that they sent these things out in the first place (this review didn’t exist ’til a couple of weeks after that), so when I discovered them, I had more than a weeks worth of emails to open, including one that had just come in (which is how I discovered them, since I happened to check my mail at that time). Almost all of them gave me only one or two points. Then I towards the end (or the last one, I’m not sure) I got one that gave twenty-five points.

The next one or so that I got, I didn’t get until many hours since I would’ve received it. It also gave me only a couple of points.

Lately, I’ve been up most of the night (don’t worry, one of the benefits of my current position is being able to sleep late), I’ve been checking them as soon as possible. Since I haven’t actually done any concrete measurements of time to points relation, I can’t be absolutely sure, but I have great suspicion that the sooner I open it, the more points I’m likely to get. I’ve haven’t really gotten anything under five points since opening them as early as possible, but it’s only been about a week or so.

There are no exact measurements of anything because I don’t really care that much. It’s not particularly important that I find out, so I haven’t been doing any data recording.

    • Hey Shollum,

Thanks for chiming in with your experience. I did notice early in the morning around 7 am EST I would see videos available but it’s not always the case.

With the emails it’s been totally random but for the most part I get 1-2 points per email every day. Sometimes I get lucky and get some that are 10 or 25 points. I really believe it’s totally random. But if you continue to see you’re getting higher points by opening the emails right away, I may have to pay better attention to my email. lol

In any event, thanks again for chiming in!
I’m glad you’re still enjoying this opportunity as much as I am.

    • It’s definitely an enjoyable opportunity.

Getting those early mails is pretty difficult if you like to sleep at night though. They usually don’t go out until after about 3:00 AM EST.

Maybe I’m just lucky at that time of day or something.

I won’t be able to test that today though, as I’m very tired from a job I had. So I’ll be turning in long before they release and won’t wake up ’til long after.

  12. Hi Marisa,

I’m glad you found my blog and it’s been helpful to you. Swagbucks is definitely a fun way to earn money for things you already do.

Thanks for joining super points under me. I really appreciate it. As you may have read in my review above, this was one of the cons. There aren’t enough videos available as there are with Swagbucks.com. It seems to vary depending on the day or even the hour you check. So there isn’t really much advice I can give you about the videos. When they have them they’ll be there but if not they won’t be. I would suggest checking a few times a day at various times of the day to see if any appear.

In terms of the browser some have these paranoid filters so I’m not surprised. Offers and downloads can be tricky which is why I suggest reading my Fusion Cash article because they can end up losing you money if you don’t approach them correctly. If you focus on the super lucky button, emails and videos (when they’re actually available) that’s a good start.

Stay active the points do add up just as the rewards in swagbucks. Thanks.

  13. Hi Eddy,

I discovered your blog a few days ago and have found it very helpful.   I’ve been pretty successful with SwagBucks but I’m having some trouble with SuperPoints.   I joined yesterday (thanks for being my sponsor!) and haven’t had any videos available so I’ve only had the SuperLucky button.   Any suggestions?   Also, nothing really shows up in Firefox so I’ve been using Internet Explorer which displays the page but doesn’t like the downloads for special offers.   Here is my activity log:

  14. That’s pretty awesome! I didn’t know there was anything that allowed you to help your referrals get referrals on SuperPoints. (I think that’s what you’re saying)

I really like how easy (and free) SuperPoints is. I signed up when I saw it mentioned in one of the weekly recaps and have been trying it out for a while (Chris H. on SuperPoints). It’s so easy that it may just earn me more than SwagBucks does simply because I only actively go after the NOSOs and Daily Polls on SwagBucks and just leave the rest to chance (since it’s my main search engine). With SuperPoints, everything is so easy or just flat out passive that there’s no reason not to do it.

One of the things I really like about SuperPoints is that, even if I were to do nothing else the whole day, I can earn at least one point from the emails. I’ve gotten an email from them everyday. Though mostly only one or two points, I’ve gotten some that were much higher (like one that was twenty-five points).

It’s easier than SwagBucks and it’s less stress inducing than MyBrowserCash (which I’m still testing. The stress is due to the fact that something could go wrong at anytime. I don’t let it bother me too much) and it’s completely free. The only thing I’ll have problems with is getting those referrals to boost my membership since my family would have nothing to do with this nor would my few friends.

Ah, I managed to draw that out to be so long just like I always do. Sorry about that.

    • Chris,

Glad you like my idea. I don’t think there is any rule against it because it helps Super Points too. But I guess if there is, I’ll find out soon enough when I launch my plan in a week or two.

In any event, I have noticed your name a few times Chris. I’m glad you decided to take action even before review and you’re doing pretty well with it. I agree it is very easy and I think it may earn me more than SB too because it’s much easier. Don’t get me wrong I love SB. But I basically use it the same way you do. I do my 3 daily activities in the morning. Then I search at least until I have one 3 o4 4 times in the day and then I’m done. Winning via searching has definitely become a bit harder.

So super points is definitely a welcomed change. Ultimately I feel the same way you do. It’s so easy that not doing it seems silly. But there are some folks that will think this is a complete waste of time even though they’re probably engaged in many of the same activities online for free.

Either way, I’m glad you see the value and working this program. I’m looking forward to hearing when you first cash out! Thanks for chiming in.

    • Wow, you’re really racking up those points my friend! Great job!!!!

You’re welcome. I’m happy to share these opportunities because we all benefit from them! It’s great to see when folks like yourself take full advantage of them!

  15. I totally understand Joyce. Don’t worry this opportunity isn’t going anywhere. So get to it when you can. Hopefully you see the value of it and will join. If not, that’s cool too.

I’m happy you enjoy my articles and the frequency I send them. A few weeks ago someone was complaining that I don’t write enough and I’ve argued I’m about quality not quantity. I personally hate getting tons of emails from sites so I definitely don’t want to do that to my users. So I’m glad you appreciate it.

    Thanks for the continued support!

  16. Hey Donna!
Glad to hear you jumped right in even before the review. I appreciate that you trust my judgement.
I feel the same way you do. It’s definitely very “addictive” 😉 & tons of fun.

I’m glad you’re trying to secure a referral. I’m sure it will become much easier when people see that you’ve actually earned your first payment with them. So keep plugging away. Thanks for your continued support and trust!

  17. Hey Eddy,
I spent too much time on fb and looking at email today. I’m gonna check this out soon. 🙂   (After I run to the grocery store…not that you need to know my schedule- lol) Just want to say I always enjoy getting emails from you. I like your straightforward style. I think it’s great that you get to be a stay at home dad! And I also like that you don’t send a zillion emails a day. Thanks for your website and keep up the good work!
    Sincerely,
    Joyce B

  19. Glad to hear it Kim!
I think folks are more inclined to sign up for non-traditional stuff like this when you can show proof you’ve earned money. But there are some people that despite this will still ignore it. So what can you do? Fortunately you can still earn on your own even though it will take some time.

  20. Hi Eddy, I love this website, it’s quick and easy. For about 10min a day I log on to press the button a bunch of times. Then I check to see if there are any videos and if there are I press play, mute my comp, and open another tab then return every 2 minutes or so to go to the next video.   The best way to earn points on this website is through referrals though, and my friends aren’t too keen on joining sites like this unfortunately. Wish I could sign up as your referral Eddy but unfortunately I can’t change it. 🙁

  21. Good day Eddy! • Hi Precious,
I’m glad to hear you have pushed past your doubts and fears to take action on the various opportunities I have recommended. A lot of folks look at some of the things I discuss sideways but many change their minds when they start making some money. So I’m glad the same has happened for you.

Thanks for chiming in and more importantly taking action!

  22. Hi Eddy, I have been reading everything on your site since I found it about 3 months ago, it was actually when I was doing a search on swagbucks trying to win some points, lol, well, I got an email the other day from this website and I saw that you were going to be reviewing Superpoints…well I didn’t hesitate, I signed right up and earned 26 points within the first day, 10 more yesterday and 12 more this morning just from clicking the super lucky button! So that brings my total to 48 after being on the site no more than maybe 2 hours total. I am including 2 screenshots, one of my points earned and one showing you are my sponsor. Thank you for taking the time and putting so much effort into your sites, I’m sure that a lot of people are grateful for everything you do. My super points user name is Corey H.

    • Well thanks for chiming in and being an active member. I do remember seeing your name. You’re starting off well. Keep at it! I’m glad you appreciate the information on my site and the effort that goes into it.

It’s nice to be paid and recognized for something that you love and that helps so many people. So thanks for the kind words.

Hopefully superpoints will add to your multiple streams of income for a very long time to come!

  23. I recently just tried GiftHulk and definitely didn’t like it as much as SwagBucks or SuperPoints. That being said there are distinct advantages and disadvantages between the various programs. For instance redeeming a $5 paypay gift card at Swagbucks requires 700 sb. Whereas in SuperPoints it’s only 500. But with SwagBucks you have a lot more videos you can watch per day to earn there. So you can definitely find pros and cons for each of these companies. My philosophy is to do them all because it will add up eventually even if it requires a bit more patience. None of this is really that labor intensive. If you have family and friends it should be easy to get them to sign up and thus earn more clicks at the higher level. But I recognize that referrals are definitely helpful and I plan to address that soon if I see folks are active and sign up.

  24. LOL, It’s not affiliate tutoring. That would definitely be a paid course and it would be worth every dime if I did one. lol But like I said if I see people are actually signing up for this and being active. I have a way I’ll be able to help my active referrals get their own for this program. So just be very active and you might be one of the people I help.

    • Hi Eddy, nicely written review. I’ve been a member of SuperPoints since Nov 2011 and I love it! I have also been stating in my tweets and blog that if people sign up under me or one of my direct referrals, I will help them get to Platinum. I strongly believe in helping those who’ve helped me.  Now, if SuperPoints would instate the Messaging Network idea so many of us have had for some time now, that would be FANTASTIC!

That is my biggest complaint with SuperPoints because if we can’t communicate with our referral’s, we can’t help them. If we can do that, it’s good for us, them AND SuperPoints in general.  Have a good evening!  ~Kimberly

    • Agreed. If we can help each other out then why not?
I’m looking forward to doing it with my referrals very soon. Your idea is genius. They should allow us to contact our referrals so we can encourage them or help them move up.

I think the problem is that opens members up to spam. Because some sponsors may use a system like that to send things that aren’t superpoints related or worst. So I understand their stance on it.

Having a blog helps supersede this limitation because you can tell your visitors if they sign up via your blog link to contact you with their super points user name and then you can carry on the conversation outside superpoints. So there are ways to get around it. It’s a great idea though.

      Thanks for chiming in.

  25. Thank you for the review ,   without referrals I find it very hard to earn , on other sites like GiftHulk and Swagbucks I get more value for my time.
