It's human nature to want more. This is especially the case when people discover ways to make money online. You probably already know that companies will pay you for things you already do online like watching videos, playing games, reading emails or even shopping online. Websites like SwagBucks and FusionCash are pretty well known for providing these opportunities.
But which is better? Well we've compared Swagbucks to FusionCash and compiled the good, the bad and the ugly about both companies to help you choose wisely. Let's get into it, shall we?
Earning Potential
[one_half_first]SwagBucks
SwagBucks has so many ways you can make money, most of which you already do like reading emails watching videos, playing games, visiting websites and of course filling out surveys. They also have an referral program.
In addition, they have bonuses, cash back on shopping and offers from popular stores like Amazon, WalMart, Target and such. So your earning potential depends on how many of these things you can do.
[/one_half_first]
[one_half_last]FusionCash
FusionCash is almost similar to SwagBucks in that you make money doing things you already do online like watching videos, reading emails, visiting websites and so on.
So your earning potential also depends on how many of these you can do. But FusionCash pays in cash unlike SwagBucks where you earn points (100 SB equals $1. But you'll never run out of things to do on SwagBucks.

Ease of Use
[one_half_first]SwagBucks
Your SwagBucks dashboard is pretty easy to navigate, with nearly every way to earn a mouse-hover away. The links rarely redirect you to third party websites, but you'll have to turn off your ad-blocker if you're using one.
They also have a browser extension, an active FaceBook page and your balance updates in real time. [/one_half_first]
[one_half_last]FusionCash
FusionCash feels a little bit routine, as they line up their offers in one long list on your dashboard. Most of the offers and tasks redirect you to third party websites, and they primarily use email to update you of new ways to earn.
They don't have a browser extension though, inactive social media and your balance updates in 15 minutes.

Legitimacy
[one_half_first]SwagBucks
SwagBucks is legit. They've been around since 2008 and they've given out over $250 million in rewards. And to top that off, they have a an A+ BBB rating.
[/one_half_first]
[one_half_last]FusionCash
FusionCash is also legit, and the company rates A+ with the Better Business Bureau. They've paid $40 million in rewards since they started back in 2005.

Referral Program
[one_half_first]SwagBucks
With SwagBucks, you get 10% of what your referral earns as long as they're active on the site. You also both get 300SB in bonuses if your referral earns at least 300SB by the first of every month.
There's neither a limit to how many referrals you can have, nor how much you can earn from them. But you only get your 10% if they Shop, Search, Watch videos, Play games, Answer surveys and take on offers.
[/one_half_first]
[one_half_last]FusionCash
With FusionCash, you get $1 when your referral signs up and confirms their email, $2 when they complete their first order and $5 each and every time your referral cashes out, and that's for life.
There are also no limits to how much your can earn from referrals. So given how easy it is to earn from referrals with FusionCash, the company walks away with this one.

Mobile Support
[one_half_first]SwagBucks
The SwagBucks app is available on both Android and iOS. Given how much love we give to our screen time, I would say it's probably easier to earn with the app than the desktop version.
[/one_half_first]
[one_half_last]FusionCash
FusionCash doesn't have an app on either app store at this time, so you may want to get a comfy with your laptop or desktop. In that respect, SwagBucks is running circles around FusionCash on this one.

Sign Up Bonus
[one_half_first]SwagBucks
SwagBucks offers a $10 sign up bonus. But to get it, you have to spend at least $25 at a store featured in Swagbucks.com/Shop within 30 days of signing up for SwagBucks.
So I guess you'll have to prove your seriousness and loyalty to earn your first bonus.
[/one_half_first]
[one_half_last]FusionCash
FusionCash will give you $5 when you sign up, activate your account and fill in your profile details including full name, address, age and payment method (PayPal or mailed check).
On the basis of pure amount, SwagBucks wins this one.

Which is Better SwagBucks or FusionCash?
Both of these companies are definitely the real deal, but it's probably easier to make money with SwagBucks and it is available in seven countries compared to the two on FusionCash. SwagBucks also has a higher sign up bonus and to top everything off they have a mobile app and a social media presence they can be proud of. Perhaps what makes FusionCash stand out is how easy it is to earn through the efforts of other people.
All in all, both companies are great ways to extra make money for what you already do online. But FusionCash comes up short where it matters most. So SwagBucks takes it.
That said most of these sites are really geared towards earning you extra cash rather than a full time or part time income. If that's what you're looking for then you might want check out My Best Work At Home Recommendation.
We would also love to hear your thoughts about any of the two companies in the comments section below. If you still have questions, you can read the SwagBucks FAQs page here or FusionCash FAQs pages here. You can read our full SwagBucks Review here and our FusionCash Review here.
Until next time

What a comprehensive comparison between the two. Personally, I’m not a big fan of swagbucks and other get-paid-to sites because they don’t pay enough for the time that you put into them. But I appreciate that not everybody wants to build an online business like me. This is definitely going to help others who are looking to make some extra pocket money from home.
Indeed. Not everyone is meant to be a business owner. Some folks really like reward sites like this. So it’s more geared towards them. Either way, I appreciate your insight.
Great review/comparison! I really appreciate the in depth lay down of what each of these programs is really all about. I have actually looked at Swagbucks before, but the actual website was not intuitive and I shied away from it rather quickly. I think the expectation of people, myself included, is if it doesn’t work easy and fast we just walk away. But the fact is, marketing matters, and I’m not convinced that Swagbucks does a good job of representing their income realities. But a fantastic lay down of the reality of both of these programs.
Thanks for sharing your view of Swagbucks and your own assessment. I appreciate it!
Hello Eddy with a Y,
I wanted to thank you for the ever invaluable information and reviews offered on your site. I always check with you first before signing-up for anything online. Folks would be foolish not to check-up on the myriad of ways one can get taken by online offers. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I’ve been taken many times before, but never again thank to you!

Well, thank you Randy! I appreciate the kind words.
Great article I have heard a little about Swag bucks and thats what brought me here. Im looking at making a few dollars from home on my spare time. After reading this I think I would give swagbucks the advantage. They seem to be more geared towards the user and I can download it on my phone and thats always cool.
Sounds good Chawn! Keep me posted.
