Mother Nature's Shrink

Hello All,

Hope you're having a great week. Mine was pretty good. Although because Mother Nature is schizophrenic when it comes to the weather, my daughter managed to get sick and pass it down to me yet again.

So I'm going to skip my weekly wisdom babbling and just give you a work at home update on one of the companies I recommend here on this site. The traditional job leads are also listed below as usual.

For those of you who have been considering Wealthy Affiliate but have been holding back because of the recent price hike (I don't blame you!), apparently my "bitching" and those of other members have been heard by the owners. Now is the time to join. They have introduced a two tier pricing option for their affiliate marketing training university. As you know I'm always preaching that you need good training for any business and it's something that I practice and why I'm still a member of WA. In any event, the good news is despite a new reduced price option, they haven't ridiculously watered down what you get at the lower price point. In terms of the fundamental lessons, you still get them. You just have some minor limitations in some of the other bells in whistles but enough to still make it worth your while.

I've detailed the differences for you below:

WA Gold Package $47 per month

-Web Hosting (Up to 3 domains)

-WordPress Express (Up to 3 Website Installations)

-Keyword Tool (100 Searches Per Month)

-1-on-1 Marketing Support (from both Carson and I)

-Over 500+ training guides, videos, and tutorials

-Exclusive Wealthy Affiliate Forum Access

-24/7/365 members area access

-Daily Training Updates

-Access to our NEW WA Clubs (30 day action based clubs on various topics)

-My Linker, our link cloaking tool

-Rapid Writer, our article marketing tool

-Step-by-Step Getting Started Course

WA Platinum UNLIMITED Package – $97 per month

Feel free to read my review about Wealthy Affiliate here. As much as I think it provides you with a lot of great information their resource isn't perfect and I detail why in my review so you can make an informed decision. At the end of the day make the best decision for you and your situation.

In any event, Enjoy the job leads below. Hopefully I won't be catching another cold any time soon! lol

  1. Hello Eddy,
I followed your suggestions and worked hard at earning small amounts from several different sources. When I saw your blog about Wealthy Affiliate allowing a start up for $47 I jumped on it. You were right about WA. It is the way to go. Thanks for your guidance. RS

    • Thanks Richard! I appreciate the kind words. I’m glad to see you decided to take a chance and start a new business. Hopefully WA will be able to help you succeed as it has done for me.

  2. I need more information on this job please. I have been looking all over for job to work at home, so that it will have more time with my baby at home. Can you help?

    • Kimberly,
Sure I can. Try actually reading the article above since it actually list job leads. Everything you need is already on this site but if you don’t READ it, it can’t help.

  3. Sorry you and your little one aren’t feeling too good. Admirable that you still found the gusto to update your blog.

Get well soon, you hear? Your baby, too.

    Take care…

  4. Eddy,
I just reread your excellent post about WA. I think you just saved me from making an expensive mistake–signing up with a site that promises to do everything for you to put you on the web and make money. In this system the website you make goes into their big domain and then the whole thing is automated. It sounded fishy but it seemed so easy. Now I realize that if I don’t own my website I get only what the owner domain gives me and only as long as I continue to participate. I didn’t get far enough into it to find out what I might have to pay, but I’m sure it is a monthly fee and if I don’t come up with it my website goes down.
I used to be a member of WA but dropped it because of information overload and the feeling that I was going around in circles. Then the price hike clinched it. A person has to be making a bundle to justify investing $97 amonth in a program, no matter how good. But the two-tier system makes sense. I’m going to give them another chance. With your post as a guide maybe I can make more sense of it this time.
    Eunice.

  5. Another cold Eddy? Dang. lol

Do you maintain a healthy amount of garlic in your diet? Preventative tip if you were not already aware: Garlic is a potent immune system booster. It is also an active anti-microbial agent – effective against bacteria, viruses, etc. I’ve loved garlic for years and cook with it regularly. I rarely get a cold and honestly can’t recall the last time I caught a cold.

And don’t worry, you won’t smell like a huge garlic bulb either. lol
Hope ya get to feeling better soon!

  6. Colds and flu are part of the “package” when you choose to have kids. Been there, done that. The good news is you will have built up so many immunities you will be in essence, SUPER HUMAN! Mr Immune Guy for years! 🙂

  7. I need to save up my money to invest in the Wealthy Affiliate system. I’m sure it’ll be worth it even though I don’t usually spend money on anything on the Internet. I could sure use some website help, haha.

    • Alexander,
Glad you see the value in getting help. Trust me it’s the only way your website will thrive and what helped me get my websites as popular as they are. Without training my websites would never be known.

      Cathy,
Ain’t that the truth. I’m hoping your theory is right! I’ll say this the colds I’ve caught haven’t been as bad as they could be. But I do a lot of preventive measures like lysoling everything, drinking orange juice, taking emergen-c, etc. So the colds have been pretty tame. But I would prefer if I just didn’t get them. But it’s damn near impossible when the princess gets them because I have been forbidden from putting her in quarantine. lol So you’re right. It’s a package deal I’ll have to suck up. lol

      Callie,
I love garlic and throw it on everything. So trust me I eat a lot of it. I also take vitamins. But when you have a child covering the house with her germs all over the place and giving you wet kisses, it’s damn near impossible to avoid getting sick. My suggestion was to put Bee in a toddler size hamster ball. But my wife was having none of that. So here I am recovering from another cold. But like I said to Cathy, it’s not as bad because of the preventive measures I have taken. It’s more of an annoyance than anything. But it gives me a reason to take shots of NyQuil to the head at night. As a result, I’ve been having some of the best sleep this last week. lol But I double up on my garlic in take. I have actually used garlic pills to treat a minor infection I had. So I definitely can attest to its power. Thanks for the tip.

      Eunice,
I’m glad I can help. I’ll be the first to always admit that WA isn’t perfect. But the one thing I always appreciate about them is they don’t ever make it seem like they will do all the work for you and you’ll magically make money by pushing a button and joining their site. There is so much garbage out there that promotes these pipe dreams because they know most people are afraid of hard work. Everyone wants an easy way to make money at home. But the fact of the matter is anything that pays you a significant amount of money will require some hard work and “ain’t no more to it”. I’m glad you’ve realized that now so at the very least you can avoid these bastards selling this lie.

If you do give it a shot again be sure to email me any specific questions you may have about a given technique or aspect of the training. I can usually walk folks through complicated concepts if it’s not making sense. My WA Review and the comments below it has a lot of my sound advice. But feel free to email me as well. I can’t tell you how many times someone has emailed me privately and all of sudden something became crystal clear to them after my email. Either way, I’m just happy you’ll have a more skeptical eye of all the crap out there promising you that they’ll do all the work for you. The domain thing is a common trick. Because as you guessed it, once you leave them they own your site and all the work you may have put into it in terms of marketing and content. At the end of the day, if it sounds to good to be true, it usually is.
You have to figure if it’s as easy as they claim it is, wouldn’t everyone be doing it? So I’m glad a light bulb has gone off.
