It's another day and another internet marketing course is promising you quick and easy cash on autopilot. But if this was truly the case, I guess we wouldn't have so much people stuck in jobs they don't like. You probably thought the same thing. So now you are looking at different Yoonla reviews online to find out if you can really make money with this course.

Well, this review will give you the good and bad. So let's get into it and see if it meets your expectations.

What is Yoonla?

Yoonla.com was founded in 2016 by digital entrepreneur Reno van Boven. Yoonla is a digital training course and CPA affiliate marketing program. They use a cost per action model and pay affiliates per lead that signs up to their membership. Their headquarters is in New Zealand.

How Does Yoonla Work?

Yoonla provides their members with blueprints and training videos which allegedly show you how to make money using CPA (Cost Per Action) Marketing. Their training is mostly focused on tools you will need to start your digital marketing business, which is a website and autoresponder. They also offer a way for affiliates to make money promoting their course.

Yoonla requires their members to perform several steps before they can start earning commissions. Once you log into the members area, you will see 7 videos where you can start the training. The training mostly revolves around showing you how to create a Yoonla landing page and setting up an autoresponder for your Yoonla website. Here is a brief breakdown on what each training video covers.

Step 1: Evolve App and Commission Tracking

This step requires you to download their Evolve App from the member's area. They will require you to upload this file in step 5 to your Yoonla website.

Step 2: Purchase An Email List Automation Account

Next, members will be required to create an email autoresponder account with GetResponse where they will be able to set up an automated campaign which emails subscribers and sends them follow ups with your tracking link included. This email automation service currently costs $15 per month.

Step 3: Setting up Email List Automation Account

They will prompt you to fill in all your details and will send an activation code to activate your autoresponder account. They will then proceed with showing you how to set up your email sequence so you can start emailing your subscribers.

Step 4: Setting up web hosting & domain

This step requires you to purchase Yahoo Web Hosting so you can have your own domain to host your Yoonla landing page.

Step 5: Get Your Evolve App Online

The file you downloaded in step 1 which is your Evolve App will now need to be installed onto the domain you bought and they explain how to do this in the members area.

Step 6: Customize your Evolve Site

Once you have uploaded the app to your domain, you will be presented with a landing page for your site which they will teach you how to set up and also how to integrate your auto responder.

Step 7: Activate Your Evolve Funnel

Basically, this is the final step where they want you to upgrade from a starter account to an elite account. When affiliates upgrade, they will get access to more advanced training and various email templates to help with their sales funnel and increasing conversations.

How Much Does Yoonla Cost?

Yoonla's starter membership is free but to start earning a commission, they do require you to purchase:

  • Elite Membership: front end fee of $297
  • GetResponse (autoresponder): $15 per month
  • Yahoo Small Business: $12 per month for hosting and $16 for a domain name

Running a business does require an investment, but it would be better if everything you need for your business can be found in one place like Wealthy Affiliate provides. This way you don't have to bounce around from site to site like Yoonla makes you do to get set up.

But hey if the idea of investing in a business turns you off, there are other free ways to make money online such as InboxDollars.com, Fusion Cash, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com. All of these companies help you make money for things you already do online like visiting websites, watching videos, giving your opinion and much more.

How Much Money Do Yoonla Affiliates Make?

As mentioned earlier, you can get paid to promote Yoonla as an affiliate. Yoonla pays their affiliates a commission for every lead that signs up depending on which country the lead is from. But Yoonla won't pay for leads if you have a free starter account. You need to upgrade to an Elite membership to qualify for payment. If you do, Yoonla pays the following per lead:

They pay $4 to $5 per lead from Tier 1 countries:

  • United States
  • United Kingdom
  • New Zealand
  • Ireland
  • Canada
  • Australia

They pay $2 per lead from Tier 2 countries:

  • Nigeria
  • India
  • Uganda
  • Pakistan
  • Zimbabwe
  • Niger
  • Zambia

No commission will be earned from leads that live in the Philippines and Vietnam as they are not allowed to join Yoonla due to fraud.

What We Like about Yoonla

Large Member Base

They released phase one of their training last year and got 500,000 sign ups. At the time of this review, they now have about 1.5 million registered members. It's always good to see a nice amount of activity when signing up to membership programs, so they do have quite an active community. There is also a decent amount of activity from members on the Yoonla Facebook page, so that is cool especially if you want to interact with other marketers.

No Hype

They strictly prohibit their affiliates from misleading others and creating hyped up reviews to get leads. Things like using fake earnings in reviews will lead to a ban as they have a team that closely monitors their affiliates activities as per the terms of services. So that's a good thing that they don't tolerate misleading reviews.

Yoonla Complaints

Now for the section you all have been waiting for, the complaints! We have gone through all the good stuff but no company is perfect so let's check out some of the red flags and you can decide for yourself if these are deal breakers.

Starter membership can't make money…

You will need to sign up to their Elite membership if you want to promote Yoonla as an affiliate. Most companies don't charge people to become an affiliate. Why would they? Affiliates make them money and they only have to pay them if the affiliate produces. So it's weird that you need to pay the elite membership to promote Yoonla.

Fortunately, there are other companies that don't require you to pay to promote them. You can sign up for a free account and start earning with sites like InboxDollars.com, Wealthy Affiliate, Fusion Cash, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com. And their affiliate programs are free to join.

No BBB Listing

At the time of this review, they don't even have a BBB listing. So this may be disappointing for some of you that rely on Better Business Bureau ratings.

Relies on paid traffic

They focus a lot on using paid traffic to drive traffic to your Yoonla landing page. It can cost up to hundreds and thousands up front.

I don't believe newbies should start out with paid traffic because there is a lot of risks involved if you don't know what you're doing. Fortunately, My Best Work At Home Recommendation can show you how to get free organic traffic without having to pay for traffic.

You won't get paid for every lead

As you will notice from all the posts on the Yoonla Facebook Page, the general complaint from affiliates who have generated hundreds and thousands only received payments for some of the leads they referred. Yoonla's generic response is because the leads were low quality. So that's something to consider if you're thinking of driving leads.

Is There A Better Alternative to Yoonla?

If there is anything in the complaints section which might seem like deal breakers, there are other options. You could try Wealthy Affiliate for instance if you want to start an online internet business. They focus more on getting free traffic and creating an authority niche site which doesn't require paid media.

If you just want to make extra income and aren't interested in starting an internet business, you can try sites like InboxDollars.com, Fusion Cash, SurveyJunkie.com and Swagbucks.com.

Is Yoonla A Scam?

Yoonla is not a scam. There is a lot of buzz around this company and they do have an impressive membership base. The complaints by their affiliates that they aren't paid for all their leads is concerning if you plan to promote them as an affiliate. And there is too much reliance on paid traffic for my liking. But that's my two cents.

I have had great success creating an online business with My Best Work At Home Recommendation. It taught me various ways to make money with affiliate marketing and everything I need to run my business is found in their one community. So I like that. It may be something to consider in addition to Yoonla depending on your needs.

Well, that's my Yoonla review. Now you know the good and bad so you can decide for yourself if it's worth it. If you have any more questions about Yoonla, you can refer to their FAQs here.
