eRewards is another paid online survey company. Please note this isn't a clickbank company that is charging you $34.95 for a list of companies willing to pay you for surveys. eRewards.com is totally free so keep that mind.
It's pretty much like many of the other survey companies I've discussed on my blog where you are rewarded for your opinion.
Benefits of eRewards
* One of the things I love about eRewards.com is that they tell you how long it will take to complete a survey and how much you'll earn right away in the email invitation you receive. Most survey companies just have a generic link telling you that you have a survey and you have to go through the trouble of logging into the site to see the survey and all the relevant information. I can't tell you how annoying it is is to receive these generic emails to go through the hassle of logging in to find that the survey is going to take half an hour for $1. But eRewards does a great job of avoiding this time waster and frustration.
* They also tend to send a lot of surveys per week. I get 2-5 per week which is a very high number considering most of the other legitimate survey companies only send 1-2 per month.
* Even if you don't qualify for a survey they will still pay you about $.50 so you always win! I wish more companies did this.
Complaints about eRewards.com
There are several things I don't like about the eRewards.com program and I've listed them below.
* My biggest complaint about this company is the pay structure or lack there of! Like some other survey companies eRewards has its own currency. Don't ask me why survey companies like doing this! Cash is king to me and most of you. But that being said some use a point system that is pretty much the same as cash and can be converted to such. But eRewards has its own type of cash but the problem is you can't convert it into real cash!!! You can use their stupid cash system for discounts on some of the stores they're affiliated with. But I still think that's crap! They should allow users to convert their cash into prepaid credit cards or gift cards at amazon.com or something like that. But no they give you discounts on stores or magazine subscriptions. You can also use them for airline mileage which I guess ins't bad. But for most people I think some sort of real cash would be appreciated!
* Their surveys are longer than they appear to be. They provide you with a nice progress bar so you know how far into the survey you're in. But don't put too much faith in the progress bar. I recently took a survey where I thought it was going to be quick because the progress bar was at 70% but that bad boy stayed at 70% even after taking like 15 questions. lol But fortunately most of the surveys are a lot shorter. I've taken MySurvey.com surveys and some of those questions are brutal because they ask like 20 questions in one and do it multiple times. So the progress bar misrepresentation is a bit of a drag but not a real deal breaker but should be noted.
* With some of the surveys you don't get credited instantly. You have to wait 7-10 business days to have them credit your account. Most survey companies credit your account right away. So that's one minor issue but they do credit your account for the amount owed. You just need to have a bit of delayed gratification.
All and all the negatives are the worst! I think out of the few I listed, the pay structure is by far the most annoying.
So is eRewards.com a scam?
I guess not because you do earn what is promised. It's just a poor way of rewarding people for taking surveys. Do I recommend that you join? It really depends on your own needs! Some people are very happy with the rewards provided. Personally I prefer companies that pay you cash such as InstantCashSweepstakes, Fusion Cash or PaidViewPoint.com. I'm not calling eRewards a fraud but I just think you're better off with other programs. There are many online paid survey programs out there that rip off people but eRewards isn't necessarily one of them. But I would still probably pass on this opportunity when there are so many others that pay you real cash like the ones listed on my recommendations page.
Let me know your thoughts below. Seems like folks really love or hate this opportunity. In any event if you like what you've read and want more please become a subscriber by clicking here or you can catch up with me on my facebook fanpage here.
I got swept into e-rewards from my e-miles membership of many years.
Sadly, e-miles changed their format/survey options & suddenly I was no longer ‘qualified’ to take most of their surveys – and as a result, I stopped participating.
Since e-rewards took-over/merged with e-miles, I’ve had many false-starts with surveys where I’d get so far (sometimes near the end) & would be eliminated (meaning the minimal 25-50cents ‘awarded’ to my account). I agree with another comment contributor that this, alone, seems fishy.
But…
The WORST THING is I’m CERTAIN e-rewards has sold my email info to scammers/spammers as since I’ve converted from e-miles I’ve gotten over 700 SPAM emails, most from senders with odd-unique email address but ending with “.de”, “.pw” & similar addresses.
I’m about to stop responding to survey offers because I abhor ANY company who sells personal information.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Clearly they have changed for the worst in this case.
i amassed point and was a great customer for years…until i tried cashing in.
on my dime im a great user, when i ask for my rewards im in violation and got shut down
SCAMMIEST!!!
Hey Chuck,
That sucks buddy. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Yes it is a scam. They advertise a amazon.com gift card wich appears to be out of stock when you want to redeem.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts but that doesn’t make it a scam. It just means they haven’t purchased enough amazon gift cards or refuse to replenish their supply.
That said I’m still not fond of the company for many of the other reasons folks have mentioned. I wouldn’t waste my time with them.
If you like amazon as a reward option check out the following sites I’ve reviewed:
https://www.workathomenoscams.com/2014/01/08/is-instagc-com-a-scam-or-the-real-deal/
https://www.workathomenoscams.com/2010/01/27/is-swagbucks-com-a-scam/
I hope this helps.
I guess I should say, they didn’t used to be a scam, but I seriously think they have become one now. They have robbed me of my time so many times the past year. Along with not paying me for survey points that I did finish and qualify for… the surveys where they claim they will reward you in several weeks. They do that because you will forget about it by then, or have no proof of it. They other surveys you spend half an hour, only for it to tell you at the end that they have enough from your group already… so they get a free survey out of you without having to pay for it.
Thanks for sharing your experience. I’ve heard this too often with many survey companies. I only do surveys that I now will always pay me for my time and the only one i have found are Paid View Point: https://www.workathomenoscams.com/2011/12/05/is-paidviewpoint-com-a-scam/ and Poll Buzzer: http://pollbuzzer.com/?r=NjROVTB1dnI0WEkya1ZPZ08zeTlNdz090 I also like ICS: https://www.workathomenoscams.com/2010/07/19/is-instantcashsweepstakes-com-a-scam/ so they might be some better alternatives for you.
But it sucks to hear that erewards has taken a turn for the worst.
e-rewards has become very bad over the past year. Its so bad now, its not even worth doing the surveys anymore because they are just a waste of time. You will not get rewarded for most surveys you do. Its become false advertising.
How much of e-Rewards is designed to market to you, the person filling out he survey? As in, they want your home address because “some partners want to send you stuff”. In other words, are partners to e-Rewards paying them for qualified prospects, lists of home addresses, emails and the like?
No idea. Most legitimate marketing companies aren’t selling your information to other companies. They’re only contacting you when they have surveys from their own company. But not every company is like this. Some will share your information.
E-Rewards is probably not worth the effort. The surveys take longer than they say. Many surveys are cancelled or full right after they’re sent. They often crash and rewards get delayed forcing you to file a complaint with the company. This is met with probably the worst response system I’ve experienced and designed to frustrate your efforts to get compensated. Once reward “Dollars” are received they are not real dollars and must be used to acquire gift cards or points in frequent purchase programs. However, for this trade, they are not worth anywhere near the value of a dollar. I would argue that the real compensation in time spent is less than minimum wage given an in-depth analysis.
Be carefull if you are cashing in eRewards points for Omaha steaks..
If you order from the website you get free shipping.
To use the eRewards coupon you must go to the Omaha site by cliking a link in the eRewards email. NO free shipping. On a $100 order shipping cost is $20.
Omaha steaks lost me as a customer with this tactic.
I am kind of confused …do you get coupons as rewards ..or do you get actually items for free .. like free of shipping and free of the item? If it only gives coupons I dont want to waste my time on E-rewards
Yeah surveys can be like that. It just comes with the territory. Fortunately there are so many other ways to earn money online. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I was a member of e-rewards back in 2000, then left it, I will admit I got quite a few perks during my 4-5 years of doing surveys, which is all I do.  This year I rejoined and to date, I have had very limited emails from them inviting me to do more surveys, as  matter of fact I go on my profile regularly to update my interests, but still get no results.  I would like to earn more currency, but apparently I do not meet their requirements, in which case I would say it has been a waste of my time on this last registration.  Oh well.
IM really not certain, Ive been with e rewards fora couple years and I always cash in on the Gamestop card (full discloser, im an avid gamer) So ive gotten maybe $150 over the past 18 months.  I takes a LONG time to build up, but its great if you have some spare time at home you want to turn into a little extra boost for your hobby.  I say if they dont have rewards your interested in, dont waste your time, if they do, it cant hurt sense you have nothing to loose but time in front of the computer.
Thanks for sharing your experience! I agree it depends if you find the rewards worth your time or not. Like I’ve said in the past, some people really love this opportunity while others don’t.
This company tends to divide people in to two camps. You either love it or hate it. I don’t think it’s a scam either. But I’m not really fond of the limited gift card options and that seems to be what people take issue with and then later mislabel this company a scam. I think if they happen to have the gift cards you like and you can actually get surveys consistently, you’ll enjoy this company.
I’m definitely thinking eRewards is a scam. The minimum points you need to be able to redeem is 2000 and I have been stuck at 1990 for months. Even though I still get regular survey offers they have all strangely expired when I click the link… even if I  click  it as the email comes in. I guess they have gotten what they wanted and now  don’t  have to pay up. Waste of time!
That sucks! Thanks for sharing.
There arent points with eRewards, but cash “points” . Anywho I have been doing this since I was put on bed rest when I was pregnant June of last year. I have had no problems at all receiving my gift cards and magazine subscriptions. Â
This isn’t a scam my father gets GameStop gift cards from them. They’re only $20 but still.
Don’t let this one negative experience turn you off to this type of opportunity. There are legitimate survey companies out there that actually reward people consistently. My two favorite are the following: https://www.workathomenoscams.com/2010/07/19/is-instantcashsweepstakes-com-a-scam/
https://www.workathomenoscams.com/2011/12/05/is-paidviewpoint-com-a-scam/
https://www.workathomenoscams.com/2007/09/05/is-surveysavvycom-survey-savvy-a-scam/
So there are other options out there. It is a business model that works if it’s done properly.
The original article already states that this is “a poor way of rewarding people for taking surveys”.
I want to add that e-rewards obviously is not reliable in any way! – I’m waiting for a reward way beyond their already ridiculous time-frame (for the second time now) and don’t even get a response from their customer service.
I originally joined hoping for interesting surveys (which are rather an exception than the rule – if they actually work),  and didn’t pay much attention to the terms. Guess I just cancel my membership with them, it’s not really a big deal, but who likes to get scammed?
Maybe companies should start thinking about the validity of the data collected, using this kind of business model…
just started using e-rewards, mainly for the reason to get more point for southwest airlines. Â the e-rewards point/cash does get converted to southwest rapids rewards points. haven’t qualified for a full survey yet, so my “earnings” haven’t been too big. Â usually weary about all the personal information being ask, but haven’t had a problem in the few months i’ve been enrolled. Â read their privacy policy. Â
You’re right. It seems down.
Is anyone even able to go to erewards? im getting page does not even exist as of today.
I’ve been an e-rewards member for a few years now. I’ve gotten several gift cards for Gamestop and Express. Some of the surveys can be tedious, and I hate it when I have answered several questions only to find out I don’t qualify for the “full survey.” But, aside from those qualms, I have found I get survey opportunities quite often and my rewards account amount increases pretty fast. It would be nice if they get more companies to provide gift cards, but in the meantime, I am happy with my Express cards! 🙂
Since Ive been with them they’ve added a few things here and there but I agree I too wish they had more companies that provided different gift cards. But for me the gamestop gift cards will do 🙂 I didnt even notice the express gift cards! 🙂
Thanks for sharing your experience.
I originally signed up for the gift cards to Express. I’ve gotten a couple over the years. I wish they had more practical gift cards. I don’t see the option to get Starbucks, etc, which I would totally do if I could.
Just want to note that the eRewards reward system has changed a lot since this was originally written. You can now use your eRewards currency to get gift cards (Starbucks, iTunes, and a number of others).
What I still don’t like is the way the do their currency. A $50 iTunes card costs $145.00 in eRewards Currency, so that’s confusing in my opinion. Plus, not all $50 gift cards cost $145.00, it varies.
Well that’s good to know. Maybe it’s worth revisiting.
I love e-rewards. So far I’ve gotten 5 free magazine subscriptions and the Wall Street Journal.
There is definitely a love hate relationship with this company. Either you’re on one side or another. Thanks for sharing your experience.
I was with e-rewards for about 5 years, but just cancelled my account due to them deleting my account currency (nearly $70) because it reached an expiration date. Some of the currency they deleted was from years ago, but I have cashed in currency numerous over the years, so they have their own wacky accounting system to delete as much currency as possible.  First off, they never sent me an email or warned me in any way that my currency was about to expire. If they had I would have used it towards one of their mediocre  rewards before the time expiration period.  This is the first time they have done this to my account, so I was surprised especially because I logged into the account on 1-30 the day before they expired.
Â
I agree with the others that the reward options are completely lacking, to say the least. For instance, you can use $25 e-reward currency to purchase $20 worth of PizzaHut coupons; however, this reward comes as 5 seperate coupons good for $4 off a $20 pizza order (1 coupon per order). This company used to have far better incentives like gift cards to Target or Itunes. Now it is only good for magazine subscriptions (a limited selection) and earning e-miles ($25 currency for 500 miles in your e-miles account.) I am warning people to stay away from this site, unless you like wasting your time for crappy unusable rewards.
don’t hold your breath
LOL, I hear ya.
so eddy is there anything I can do about my 500 non-deposited miles to my ff acct?
Hey I sent you an email with their contact information. So try that. But in situations like this we as the members usually get screwed over.
Agreed, I wish they had better reward options like so many other marketing research company.
I like e-rewards so far. I’ve ordered 2 magazine subscriptions and I’m waiting for them. So far so good, I just wish they had better sponsors.
I agree- I signed up with eRewards because Pizza Hut was listed as one of it’s sponsors (and we really like Pizza Hut) I answered surveys and was paid. But – no cash rewards or Pizza Hut. I ended up getting a $10 off of 25 worht of merchandise coupon for JC Penney (and I had just recieved one of those coupons FREE from JC Penney)
Don’t join eRewards – the rewards are poor!
Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Some people really just love this company or hate it. It’s fairly split.

General recommendations:
Go to the judicial webpage for your county, and follow the instructions to  PREPARE THE PAPERWORK to file in Small Claims Court. Specify the maximum dollar amount allowable in your county, and specify “fraud” for your complaint. Don’t file your case with the court  – yet.  Send a COPY to the company. (For E-Rewards, use the  address above.) One stamp only at this point. Allow about 10 business days. You should be contacted by them, either by phone or U.S. Mail, their choice.  If you don’t hear from them, call and tell them you are only calling to confirm that  they received the paperwork.
About half of the time your issue will get resolved at this point. Don’t expect to get big bucks, but you now have their attention and they should want to negotiate. If this doesn’t work, then you need to decide if you want to actually file your case with the court. Personally, I always do, and include the request for waiver or deferral of all fees. I am 53, and for about a dozen disputes over the years, I have only been to court once. The company wouldn’t settle for $100.00 plus court costs, and I wound up with $1,000.00. (Your mileage may vary.)
I have been an with e rewards for about a year never had a problem….
Thanks for sharing your experience.
Nope. Most online websites want you to contact them via their online form or website. It’s rare to get anyone on the phone. Have you tried emailing them?
Thanks Eddy for responding. Yeh, I’ve done the email thing but I just get a wonk who could give a rat’s a**. I always think you do better when you can actually speak to someone…feel like you have more leverage. Guess that’s why they don’t have a number to call 🙂
You’ve hit it on the head Vera! lol
E-rewards has recently changed its gift structure. I used to be able to get a $25 I-tunes gift card with $75 of my rewards. That is no longer available. Other than the free magazines (which the selection is pretty lousy), everything else you have to pay for to take advantage of their offers. Once I figure out how to tank my points, I’m leaving E-rewards, although I have been with them for a few years now.
Thanks for sharing your recent experience with them.
Hey Eddy,
I’m trying to reach a live person at E-rewards and have been unable to find a number. Would you happen to have one? Thanks in advance!
You always have to read the terms and conditions of any site you join especially research sites. Because then you’ll know how your information is being used. The devil is in the details as the expression goes.
I started an erewards account, and took an “anonymous” survey on health issues. Â They sold MY PHONE NUMBER and now I am getting calls based specifically on how I answered that test! Â It is scary and my phone rings constantly with calls from around the globe now. Â I have tried emailing erewards customer service but they just avoid me.
I don’t know if the name calling is necessary. But I do agree with you that a lot of people are looking for instant gratification.
I’ve been with E-Rewards for a few years now and have no complaints. The surveys always say approximately how  long they’ll take and I’ve never gone through one for 45 minutes only to get partial credit. It will tell you if you don’t qualify and you’ll get partial credit. If you don’t fit into the company’s demographic/criteria, you won’t get to finish. If you’re really whiney and want instant gratification, I don’t suggest signing up for surveys! I’ve gotten 3 $50 gift cards for Target, one for Macy’s and a discount at FTD which I bought my aunt flowers with. They are legit, answer all questions and concerns promptly, and have always been good to me. Many of you sound immature and like you want everything NOW but sorry, boys and girls, the world at large doesn’t work that way.
Im tired of going though 45 + minutes of survey only to be told the maximum have completed and i will only get a partial credit of .50 instead of $20 seems kinda flaky to me im not sure i will do many more surveys its getting old and fast to be lied to.
E-rewards just upped its requirements for rewards. what used to be 2 for 1 is now 3 for 1. I am unsubscribing as soon as I get the required amount.
I Love E-Rewards too! I’ve gotten two seperate $25 gift cards to Express (clothing store) which I love and shop at! I also did an online discussion through them and received a $70 check in the mail. It is definitely NOT a scam and it definitely worth the few minutes it takes to do a survey here and there.
As of April 1 it will cost you 50% more than you paid last year. I got two $50 cards for Target last year for $200 in reward bucks. This year the will be $150 a piece rather than $100.
I do not know what this person’s problem is, but I like E-Rewards. I have never had a problem with them. They are not a scam. I answer lots of surveys, but it is not overbearing. Some weeks I don’t even get surveys. They have coupons for flowers, 25.00 off at FTD.com and that is great especially at Valentines. They also have i-tunes gift cards. SCORE!! They have Target gift cards, and yes magazine subscriptions, which is neat because you can try out a magazine to see if you like it first before buying. It is people like this that Slur the name of a company. I do not know you or what your problem is with e-rewards but I will not sit here and let you bad mouth them just because it does not work for you.
I have used eRewards to get $15 in Borders bucks, and gotten free dvd’s that I put the Borders bucks towards. So, its not a scam, its definitely legit.
eRewards is legit, I have already earned three $25 gift cards to Macy’s on $25 gift for Target!
Yep, we know. Congrats on your earnings.
Here’s what I got from e-Rewards: $25 Macy’s Gift Card, $25 Target Gift Card, $25 off at FTD.com, $15 in Borders Bucks, 6 Free Movie Rentals (3 times), Prevention (English language, one-year subscription), Martha Stewart Living (English language, one-year subscription), Fast Company (English language, one-year subscription) (2 times), Outside Magazine (English language, one-year subscription). According to my reward history that is a $292 total value.
eRewards is *not* a scam, it just isn’t a sure fire way to get something for nothing… It takes awhile to accumulate enough money in your account to redeem a prize, but like some of the other users here, I like it for SkyMiles, and during the last two years I’ve also received free magazine subscriptions, $25 gift cards for Macy’s, and more. I’m grateful for anything for free now-a-days, and if spending ten minutes a day for a couple of days a week can add up to free goodies, I think that is nice.
I have been using e-rewards since February 2008. So for I have received 12 $25 GameStop gift cards, 3 $15 gift cards to Borders, 4 free DVDs at Blockbuster and 1 magazine subscription. My points have never expired. I can only get 1 GameStop gift card every 3 months, but it takes 3 months to earn enough points. I can only get 1 Borders reward per YEAR so that is a pain. Overall a good survey program for a casual user. I get about $125 value in rewards per year.
I have had a wonderful experience with E-rewards. I have purchased airline miles with the credits, Macy gift cards, magazine subscribtions…I even sent flowers through FTD with a considerable discount. I have contacted their customer service one time and they were happy to help me. I’ve been doing there surveys for at least 3-4 years. Not sure why some others had issues.
I also do lightspeed, which I enjoy as well. Pinceone is another. With all of these surveys I feel I have received wonderful service and great prizes/gifts.
e-rewards is not a scam. Even if you only get “paid” $0.50/survey if your answers don’t meet their criteria, I linked my Skymiles account with them. I will randomly be awarded 250 SkyMiles by participating with e-rewards (and I don’t even do surveys every day!) I figure if I can earn 250 SkyMiles…for doing nothing…why not?
eddy soloman..get a life..you posted about 7 times thanking people for their opinion..geez dont you have better things to do with your life..guess not
Yawn.
i don’t think it’s a scam. I got a $25 gift card to Express (it worked). Sure it took me a while to get there, but come on, nothing is free. And in this case, $25 to my favorite store just to answer some questions sure seems like a good deal to me!
@Skip:
Just file a BBB complaint against them. That is what I did. Good luck to you.
Two things have become really irritating to me and it has gotten worse over the past years. Complaining to erewards does not do any good.
First they will post a new survey and then sometimes in less than thirty minutes, you will be told that they have the required number of responses. Three or four hours later is ok, but come on, less than an hour. If you are unemlopyed and sitting by a computer all day this may work. But what about those of us who work, and do not have access to a computer at all times of the day.
Secondly, I am tired of answering 20+ questions and then being told I do not qualify. After that many questions, I beleive they are profiting from our responses without properly compensating us. Three or four questions OK, but any more than that is two much.
Don’t consider them a scam at this moment but they are getting there
I agree!- why wait until you are practically done answering all of their questions, and then they tell you that you don’t qualify. That comes close to being a scam… lots of free feedback, and a few puny pennies.
I am watching closely, and if this happens too many more times, I am done with them.
I’ve participated in eRewards for several years. When I get to $25, I transfer them to air miles. In the last few months, surveys just STOPPED coming and I’m at $23.30. What gives?
Erewards.com is definitely not a scam. I’ve taken their surveys over the last several years and easily got 15 $25 goft certificates to Gamestop. My kid loves them. Yes the surveyts take some time, but they definitely deliver the gift cards as advertised. If you get invited, you should definitely join.
I’ve been with e-rewards for several years. They can be a giant pain in the butt. I ran into problems when they dumped all of my accumulated points (with no warning) last spring. I raised heck and asked them how anyone was expected to be able to say enough points to “earn” anything decent of the points were going to be taken away before you were able to use them. I have always used me e-rewards points to “buy” Hilton Honors points and use them to get free night(s) at Hampton Inn or other Hilton brand hotels. They returned my points and told me I had like 72 hours to convert them, or I would lose them (again). I used them to get 4500 Hilton points. My biggest complaint is the unbearably long surveys that they send that take 20+ minutes to complete. I hate the surveys that are repetitive and “Disagree”, “Strongly Disagree”, etc… then you get booted out 10 minutes into it and you get 35 cents. Since they don’t send very many surveys (that you actually qualify for), it takes a long time to earn points. Oh, they also won’t let you cash in for Hilton points more than once every 90 days.
@Ellen:
I’ve been doing survey’s for several years and although you build up the points/dollars slowly I’ve gotten some great books and cds from borders ordered flowers and just today got a $25.00 Itunes gift card. I love it.
I have received an invitation to join e rewards through Blockbuster and came to this site to see if it is worth my time. It seems that you can earn skymiles? That is the main reason I would like to join. Are you able to redeem your points for that specific selection?
I have actually been a member of e-rewards for about 4 years now and each year they offer you the option of renewing. When I renew my membership it has NEVER deleted my redeemable cash and I have renewed with about $80 on the line. I find some of the surveys to be long but those are usually the higher reward-based ones. I have never NOT received anything I redeem my points on so I wouldn’t say it’s a scam. You don’t get money, you get options redeemable with all its partners. I mainly use my survey cash to get Priority Rewards points for hotel nights and things like that.
I too have had my surveys stop coming since I am 15 cents away from my $50 reward level. I was $2.65 away and I qualified for a survey that they sent me for $2.50 and I have been at this level for 3 weeks now. I have no idea how some of you get so many rewards…. Do they send women more surveys? Do you lie? Something has to be up!!!
I have been an e-rewards member for about 6 months and I love it. I’ve never had any problems. I’ve gotten so many great magazine subscriptions that I have even used as gifts. About a month ago I was starting to get discouraged because I had already cashed in on most of the rewards that I wanted. I sent a note to their customer service asking if they could expand their rewards for gift cards. I got a prompt email telling me that they would pass along my feedback to the rewards team. Sure enough they now have an expanded selection of gift cards to choose from.
For those people who say they aren’t getting enough surveys, there is a setting in your account where you can adjust the number of surveys are sent to you. I have it on the 10+ emails a week and I get about 2-3 surveys a day. I don’t qualify for all of them and sometimes I wait too long and they are full, but I’m very close to getting my $50 gift card to Target.
I wanted to toss my 2 cents into the pot on E-Rewards. I have been a member of E-rewards going on 4 years now. I have not had a problem with them to date (I will agree, that many issues listed above are a possible, I have not expeirenced them myself). I do not work from home and do not rely on these sites for income. I had not problem receiving or taking surveys. Sure, I will go a week or two without a survey, but then will get 10 over the course of 2 -3 days. I choose to spend my ‘survey bucks’ on the $25 GameStop Card (50 survey dollars). Again I take the surveys casually and have had not problem earning 4 gift cards a year (1 every 3 months is the limit) or even the occasional magizine subscription. E-Rewards is by no means an income survey business, but it is great for the occasional survey and getting something useful (I have 3 small kids and the game card is a nice addition for gifts, treats, etc to GameStop). I have received numerous warnings about points about to expire, but I have always had enough points to purchasee what I want (leaving them to take 75% of 2-3 ‘survey bucks’. After receiving 3 years of warnings, I have yet to have any points taken from my account.
Customer Service is extremely slow to respond to emails and questions, but have been helpful in the long run.
Eddy is right in that you have to do what is best for you. E-Rewards is a great casual survey site. It is nothing to take 10-15 minues to take a survey once or twice a week and get a gift card or a subscription every other month or so.
@Skip: I joined this, so called, company recently. I got emails hand over fist to do surveys at first. Now that I’m close to the $50 mark (in their currency, and the mark to buy anything worthwhile,) I have not got an email in a month. Seems mighty fishy to me. I get some crappy magazines and I’m closing my account. Don’t waste your time people.
Ultimately it seems like it all depends on your perception. Obviously based on the comments above, there are a lot of folks that are happy with the rewards. So I guess it all rests on personal references. I prefer money which is my http://www.GoMySurvey.com is more appealig to me. But to each their own. It’s only a waste of time if you see it that way. People think a lot of these opportunities are a waste of time. But then you have folks like me that perceive these things as a gateway or an opportunity to leverage something I already do. At the end of the day you have to do what is best for you.
@goldsheet:
I have a question for you. I used some e-reward points to buy a $15 credit to Borders and have not used it yet. Do you know if it expires or if I can use it online and in Border’s stores? I was hoping to purchase another coupon from Borders when my points go up. Thank so much, Donna
@Skip:
Fortunately, I did receive a message from e-rewards stating that my points would expire on a certain date. So, I went and used them up by purchasing discount coupons from FTD and Borders. So, after that message, they sent me another stating that my points would not expire. They changed their minds. I do like doing thier surveys, but sometimes they discriminate against you if you are a certain age (senior). However, due to their rule that you can’t cash in reward points but every three months, I usually buy Macy’s gift cards for $25 with 45 points. I can only get one gift card every three months. For sure, you are not going to make a lot of money doing surveys for them. Thanks, Donna
Donna,
Surveys are based on supply and demand. So I know it seems like discrimination, its really more a function of business. Business target a certain group of people that buy their products. So they dictate to the survey company this profile and the survey company delivers surveys to these folks. Unfortunately seniors don’t tend to fit the demo they want.
That being said try your hand at other opportunities where your age makes little difference like swagbucks, amazon Turk, etc. You can find these type of opportunities on my recommendations page:
http://www.WorkAtHomeNoScams.com/recommendations
Hope it helps.
Just an update on the message that I posted on May 4th.
I re-contacted the customer service rep who had initially told me that I could not reverse my redemption, and this time said if it was not possible to reverse my redemption, that I would like to have my $25 restored anyway. I checked today, and the redemption was reversed and my $25 was restored. Success!
That’s great news SMS!
I wonder if they read this article? lol
I’ve been doing e-reward surveys for a couple of years now. While it is true that you sometimes don’t get to do the survey because your demographic doesn’t qualify, you still get a small reward for trying and it doesn’t happen most of the time. Also, you do indeed get e-reward dollars, but I have years of subscriptions to magazines that I haven’t paid a dime for. If you participate in rewards miles, you’ll get a lot for $0. E-rewards won’t pay my mortgage and I don’t consider it a source of income, but I think the benefits are worth the 10-20 minutes a few times a month. Also, you HAVE to be invited. You cannot offer to do this. My friends have tried when they see all that I have received free of charge.
I had been having a good experience for over a year, until recently when, in response to several warnings that my currency was about to expire at the end of April 2010, I chose to redeem most of my currency ($25) for something that I didn’t really want. The very next day (April 30) I received a notice saying that I was being rewarded for being a loyal customer by having my miles be exempt from expiration! Of course, at that time I only had a few cents in my account so I was annoyed; I really would have preferred not to have redeemed the $25 at that time. I wrote to customer service to complain that it was unfair to urge me to redeem my currency and not inform me about the “exemption” until the last possible dat, but they were unwilling to reverse my redemption and reinstate my currency.
Hey SMS,
Damn I’m sorry to hear this. That sort of sucks what happened to you. It would have been nice if they came to some agreement with you.
I’ve been with erewards for a couple of years now, and I have had no problem. I’ve earned points, and redeemed them for a couple of magazine subscriptions, and just today a $50 target gift card, and a $25 gift card.
Thanks for sharing Steph!
I “earned” a Gamestop gift card from them over a month ago and still haven’t recieved it.
No problem with ERewards. Just got my second Blockbuster DVD codes. Have received several subscriptions. I think it is great. I don’t do gamestop. I noticed their rewards have changed. I hope they get better in the future.
Hello all! Just wanted to share my experience with e-rewards. So far it has been positive. I finally earned enough points to get a $25 gift card from gamestop, and true to their word it arrived today (3/8/10) less than 2 weeks after I redeemed the points.
Congrats Jermaine!
I joined E-Rewards 4 or 5 months ago and so far I’ve had a OK experience with it. It isn’t a good way to supplement your income, but I did receive reward points that I was able to trade in for gift cards for Macy’s. So far I’ve gotten three $25 giftcards that don’t expire. I was also paid $50 to take part in an online focus group that took about two hours or my time. Not bad pay for a couple of hours. Sometimes I do get turned down for a survey after already spending 5-10 minutes answering questions and that is frustrating. I’ve had much worse luch at Opinionpost.com. I recently joined them because they pay in cash, but I’ve gone through several surveys with them only to be rejected with nothing to show for it.
These people scammed me in the same way. For the past couple of expiration dates they warned me of an upcoming expiration date and this time they didn’t. All of a sudden my points just disappeared. I actually don’t hold out too much hope that they’ll restore my points. Needless to say, once I spend my points I’m flushing these people.
What a complete scam…unbelievable.
I’ve redeemed eReward points for several $25 Gamestop cards over the past two years. My biggest complaints would be 1) the weird way they calculate money; it’s like Xbox Live points, where the amounts don’t add up the same and 2) I’ve had several surveys suddenly terminate after I answered a significant number of questions. I don’t get many surveys (at 50 I’m out of the target market for most products), but I’ve had enough to make it worth while.
I like e-rewards because I get alot of surveys and have cashed in for ALOT hilton reward points all were tranferred quick. There surveys are good compared to others, however not alot of choice I do it for Hilton points or I would’nt do it.
I have had no problems with erewards. I have earned 3 $25 gift cards to Game Stop and $15 at Borders Books and 2 previously viewed DVD’s from Blockbuster. This is by no means a work at home money making website, but at least you get something back for your time.
Please note they are giving adequate warnings about expiring points now.
I haven’t had any issues with e-rewards.com. I earned enough for a $25 Gamestop giftcard, redeemed my points, & they said it would take a month to get to me, 2.5 weeks later it was in my mailbox.
I do have enough for another card, but they are limiting me to one Gamestop card per Calender Quarter. I got the first in October, so I’m assuming I’ll be able to redeem it after Jan 1st.
That’s probably the only issue I have with this site, & I don’t even know if it’s that big of an issue. Would it be nice to spend what I earned when I earn it? Sure, it would. Will I continue to use e-rewards after finding this out? Possibly, but I won’t make a hurry of completing surveys, knowing I’ll have to wait another 3 months to redeem the points.
My final opinion on e-rewards is they aren’t a “scam”, but they are a little deceiving in how they allow you to use the rewards you earn. If you just want a gift card or a magazine subscription, & have an hour to kill a week, this is a great place for you. If you are looking for real cash, this is not the site you are looking for. Move along… move along.
I have used e-rewards for a couple of years. I guess they heard the complants about expiring points, as I was given the option to extend the period.
If you are not a business owner or frequent traveler, this is NOT your site. They clearly are seeking input from those type people. If you are a student or housewife you need to go elsewhere.
I would also prefer cash rewards; but the Borders Bucks, magazine subscriptions and DVD rentals all arrived as promised.
e-Rewards is the worst! They are a highly unethical company. They do expire points w/o notice They did not send out an email and they do not post policy changes on their website. Do not do business with them. There are much better options. Put your energies to better use at another site. I hate them!!!!!

“Don’t try this one. Someone on this site said it was good and they lied, It’s junk.”
Dennis, Which site are you referring to?
When I joined e-Rewards through Upromise earlier this year, $100 earned could be transferred to the Upromise site and be worth $50 cash. I recently earned slightly over $100 on e-Rewards and was almost immediately notifed by them that their policy had changed and I now would have to earn $120 before I could receive $50 in my Upromise account. That was several weeks ago and I’ve not received a survey since. I had been receiving them on a regular basis. I hate to think the worst but it certainly looks bad and doesn’t help the reputation of the Upromise site and businesses affiliated with it.
It’s been over a month since e-Rewards re-instated my account. Unfortunately I have not been given an opportunity to complete any new surveys. I have updated my profile like they suggested. Are they trying to tell me something?
@John Savino:
I have used them for a while and I got my Giftstop card in only a couple weeks after I ordered it. They are not a scam. maybe not the best use of time but if u have a spare minute at work, the points build up stedily. Me and my wife both are currently working on another gamestop card and she’s already got the subcriptions to magazines i usually pay for. if you all about maximizing your survey time, then pass over but if you just want some magazines and free gamestop money this is an easy way to go. BTW TELL THEM you have fibromalagia (spelling?) and you’ll get a $20 survey. how are they gonna know? 😀
Greeting Eddy,
I have been with erewards for a while now and I use to have a $25 dls gift card for gamestop every quarter, one thing that sucks is that you can request only one giftcard every quarter, but so far is more or less the time that took me to gather the $50 erewards currency to get it, so I’m happy with it, at least it is very good if you are a videogames fan like me.
Another thing is that I have been receiving less surveys from them in the last two months, but it is like any other survey website.
Good luck to everybody.
@goldsheet:
Follow up to my August 2008 post.
Still getting magazines and am satisfied,
Have never lost any points, yet,
Surveys, however, seem to be less frequent, get disqualified more often,
and often take more time than predicted/expected.
Not a scam, but getting less “e-rewarding” than last year.
eRewards is a scam and a waste of time. First off they get you into all of these `surveys’ which you almost NEVER can complete because they are tailored just such that you spend a huge amount of time answering and just before the end you answer some question not to their `liking’ and the drop you out of the ‘survey’. Up pops a window stating that … they already have enough of your type opinions for this survey… and they bounce you out to some 3 or 4 question lifestyle page and then back to your e-Opinions account page. That’s it. No credit for all the time you spent on the ‘survey’, nothing, nada, zilch, zip and just a few cents credit for their lifestyle questions.
@…they already have enough of your type opinions for this subject…WTF? What kind of `survey’ is that? You’ve completed 80% or so and they run across an answer they don’t like, so your bounced out and your time and effort are for nothing! Is that a ‘survey’ or a tailored rip-off?
This must be where all those BS product claims beginning with ‘A nationwide survey concludes…’ Yeah, right! More like ‘A nationwide survey tailored exactly to our desiredresults concludes…’
Then there’s the ‘products’ (aka. ‘promotional discounts)’ that’s available with your e-Rewards `cash’ worth about $0.25 on the dollar. So…
If you are ‘fortunate’ enough to get through their 20 minute `survey’ in a few days you may see a credit to your account for $5 (which is really about $1.25). That equates to about $3.75 an hour for your time and the ability to spend it on a product or service you probably don’t want or need.
@Jim:
e-Rewards re-instated my account in full after ten emails. Unfortunately I have not been given an opportunity to complete any new surveys. I have updated my profile like they suggested. Should I write them or sit tight?
Recently I’ve been sent a lot of invites to join an online lottery site. Have you ever heard of LuckySurf? Are they for real & if so, how exactly do they work, where do they get that kind of money to give away, And do people really win that money? Are they safe to sign up with?
If you can help me, I’d really appreciate it, I trust your opinion & always go to your site first as soon as I hear of a new one to find out if it’s legit! THANK YOU!
Laurie D.

Good luck.
Works for me, I just got a $25 gift card for Gamstop. It didn’t take very long at all the earn it.
Thanks for sharing Will. It’s always nice to hear both sides of the coin.
So far I have no problem with erewards. I joined for the purpose of converting my “pay” into upromise dollars. I trust e-rewards because it is offered through the U-Promise website. It does take $25 reward dollars to equal $5 on upromise, but if taking a few surveys helps fund my son’s education then so be it.
Yesterday I noticed that $25.50 in rewards money disappeared 0vernight. No notice, and so far, no response from their poor customer service website. While I was trying to save up for $50, they scammed me. I won’t bother with their surverys in the future if pints are not reinstated.
Keep us posted. Hopefully they respond back to your email.
Is that an option? I would gladly trade my points for pints!
How great would that be? lol
I need to disagree with you. I did get a heads up email warning me that my points were about to expire today. I was sent two emails to warn me. After filling out all the available surveys I was 66 points shy of my next reward. I emailed e-Rewards and let them know my situation. I got a prompt reply and thanked for my continued support ,they gave me the additional points. Which shows me they are a company that does value their participants.
I agree I would enjoy real cash instead of the buy into rewards. I have found a reward that I’m comfortable with and it’s well worth it to me to keep taking the surveys. Please cut them some slack.
@Skip:
It is a scam, sucks you in to do the survey and don’t give you any credit.
e-Rewards took away $300+ in accumulated credits in this year that I earned in several previous years. They did not inform me about it nor have they sent me any surveys for the past six months.
Several times I got only partial credit despite the fact that I answered topic-specific (non-general) questions. I sent folowup emails but to no avail.
It’s disappointing and disturbing to see such behavior when I have I answered their surveys honestly.
I have been doing surveys with e-rewardss for years now and NEVER had a problem with them. Yes, you may loose any points at the end of your fiscal year if left unused so use your points, not hard to do.I have always used my points to pay for airline miles and recently gotten a free trip thanks to e-rewards.
I’ve had no problems with e-Rewards. If I remember correctly, there was a point where I tallied quite a few points, and then seldom got surveys. But the good thing about them is that they tell you how long the survey could take, and how much you could be rewarded. So no one can complain that it took “20 minutes” and only got “$4 credit”. If you don’t think that 20 min is worth it, then don’t do it. You also know the rewards and if they’re in stock or not too. So they give you enough info to decide if this is for you or not. And if anything, the surveys are something you just do on your free time, to get a little “fun” reward. Not something to take totally serious, and get pissed if things aren’t perfect.
It’s a massive scam – I’ve been doing the e-Rewards surveys it for a while on a BA air miles reward scheme. I quickly got points as they sent me surveys but as soon as i got to 1,970 points (needing 2,000 to get a reward) i got no further polls to complete… After some time having not seen a single survey to complete I one day received a quick survey (usually 50pts) and thought finally i’d breach the mark, filled it out and low and behold 25pts taking me to 1,995! I’ve heard nothing since and suspect I will never get another survey as it would take me over the 2,000 points mark. Such a pile of bull sh*t but really I should have figured. I setup my girlfriend as a different user with the same profile setup and she’s getting surveys to do so they’re obviously blocking me from participating… MEGA SCAM WASTE OF TIME!!!
As Leo and others have mentioned, the biggest problem with e-Rewards is how they’ve gotten worse about suddenly ending a survey after they’ve gotten many many many answers from you, then only credit your account for a partial compeltion.. .50 cents or less.
It’s gotten much worse over the last few months. I used to be able to complete surveys regularly, now I haven’t gotten to the end of a survey in the last 50 or so survey’s I’ve taken. I think they’re getting more scammy with it. They should ask their qualification questions first, then ask their survey questions.
But not so, they’ll let you run for 30 minutes answering questions then just end the survey and credit your account .20 cents.
I’m cashing out my account on Borders Bucks and cancelling my account with them.
I have to echo the warning — they are essentially a scam. I’ve had the points expiration problem happen twice, and they wouldn’t even reply to my complaint the second time. They changed their policy midstream, and it’s buried. The 75% expiration policy is terrible — for occasional users, it isn’t immediately obvious that the points have been taken — this is the ONLY reason I can think of for expiring most but not all points after a certain amount of time, to avoid leaving you with $0 which everyone would see immediately. I also agree that the surveys always take longer they say, many times you answer a significant number of questions, and then they say you don’t qualify and give you a very small proportion of the value. Stay away from this program.
Cant say that I like e-rewards at all. I was able to save up enough points to get a gift card, I cashed them out and the card never arrived. This was over 6 months ago. I tried getting in touch with customer service, but all I got was automated emails. What a waste, doing all those stupid surveys for nothing.
Hi.
I originally joined E-rewards several years ago and I redeemed $15 in Boarder Bucks, and 6 Blockbuster Pre-watched movies. I also recently joined Upromise and discovered that if you join E-rewards through Upromise, you can earn money for your Upromise account in increments of $5, $20, and $50. ($25 E-reward = $5 Upromise, $50 E-reward = $20 Upromise, $100 E-reward = $50 Upromise)
I have already earned $50 and had it deposited into my account.
NOTE – If you join through Upromise, the only rewards available are Upromise deposits.
Not a scam…..but there are a limited number of rewards available that are actual gifts, and not just discounts off purchases you have to make, like Macy’s or Omaha steaks. Another thing is that you are restricted from cashing multiple rewards with the same partner within a certain time period. Borders Bucks, once per calendar year. Continental One-Pass miles, only once every 180 days. I got coupons for free movie rentals at Blockbuster, which is cool, but right now I am running out of rewards that I am interested in receiving. A lot of my points would have expired at the end of last year, but they send an email warning well in advance of expiration so I was able to use them up.
I have participated in e-Rewards for some time and now they don’t seem to know who I am. I had some computer problems so I hadn’t responded in a couple of months and it looks like they have deleted me. I have contacted them and don’t know what the outcome will bring.
I don’t think you can call them a scam because they deliver exactly what they say they will. But as stated here, most people wouldn’t be happy with what they deliver. They may give you a $7-8 credit for doing a full survey, but only $.50 for a partial one. That didn’t seem too bad to me, but I often spend 10-15 mins. on surveys only to be disqualified. The ones I was disqualified on in a minute or so didn’t bother me, but when you want 10-15 mins. of my time only to pay me $.50, then I am annoyed. I must not fit their demographics as I often am disqualified and it took quite some time to build up enough points to get anything worthwhile.
I think their redemptions stink because most aren’t of interest to me, but if you do like them then they are fine for the time committed. So I would concur with the observation that this isn’t for everyone, but it isn’t a scam. However, if they confiscate my points that would change my opinion.
@Skip:
I’ve been using e-Rewards for years and my points certainly didn’t suddenly expire. I treat it more as an occasional distraction rather than actual effort, and I get enough points to make it worthwhile.
Hi Diane,
Thanks for sharing your objective view of this company. I think you’ve probably provided the most fair representation of this company and what to expect.
Eddy
E-Rewards is not for everyone. It is legit and I’ve been participating for over 3 years. But it does have its flaws.
Side note: I joined for the AA flyer miles redemption options which they dropped this year. As a “consolation” they added the redemption option of gift cards to Target, Starbucks & Macy’s. My mother also joined a couple years ago but not for the AA miles so she was not given this redemption option. The notice they sent me said it would only be available through the end of 2008 but I’m hoping they decide it was such a success they both continue and expand it to the other members.
Pros
– Consistent/Frequent surveys available.
Cons
– Needs better/more redemption options.
– They only let you redeem most of the rewards once per either quarter or even year. For example they have a $25 flower reward on $25 or more but you can only use it once a year (may have changed to quarter not sure) Its a great reward to use for mothers day but would be nice to be able to use more often.
– Once every calendar (depending on your enrollment date) 75% of your rewards expire. This feature is even worse than the other two as if you forget to run your account down to near $0 you lose almost everything you accumulated. But I will say there has NEVER been a year I didn’t get the e-mailed warning.
Here is an exerpt from there policy terms on the expiration of E-Rewards Currency:
All e-Rewards Currency earned during any Membership Year must be redeemed within thirty (30) days following the end of the Membership Year. (For example: A Member who enrolls on August 21, 2008 is assigned a Membership Year ending on September 30, 2009 and must redeem Currency earned during the Membership Year running from August 21, 2008 to September 30, 2009 by no later than October 30, 2009.)
Following the end of the thirty (30) day period, as set forth in Section 8.b. above, seventy-five percent (75%) of any unused e-Rewards Currency remaining in a Member’s account that was earned during the just-ended Membership Year will expire, and will be removed from the Member’s account. The remaining twenty-five percent (25%) of the e-Rewards Currency earned by the Member during the past Membership Year shall be automatically transferred into such Member’s account balance for the next Membership Year. For example: At midnight of July 30, 2008, Member has $100 of unredeemed e-Rewards Currency earned in the Membership Year ending June 30, 2008, and $5 of unredeemed e-Rewards Currency earned between July 1 and July 30, 2008, for a total account balance of $105 in e-Rewards Currency. On the morning of July 31, 2008, Member will have a total account balance of $30 in e-Rewards Currency: $5 earned in July 2008, plus $25 (25% of $100) rolled over from the Membership Year ending June 30, 2008.
If Member’s account has been inactive for twelve (12) months immediately preceding the end of the Membership Year, one-hundred percent (100%) of any unused e-Rewards Currency remaining in the a Member’s account that was earned during the just-ended Membership Year will expire, and will be removed from the Member’s account.
I cannot complain about E-rewards, would I have preferred cash…..yes, but I have been getting great magazine subscriptions (They just recently added my favorite magazine Robb Report.) I even used some of my points to order magazines as gifts for friends and family members, I used the Borders rewards. I will probably never use the shopping discounts for Sony, Ebags etc, but as long as they keep adding magazines that I enjoy, I will keep signing up.
A quick note….I have received phone calls from the magazine subscription services offering renewal and extentions at VERY high rates.
Still no problems with erewards. memolink is the scam
Hi Bryan,
Thanks for sharing your experience as well. Seems like this is a hit or miss depending on who you ask.
Eddy
STAY AWAY FROM eRewards. I had the same negative experience as Skip detailed. Participated in good faith providing high quality survey responses for the past year, and built-up a respectable point balance. It was suddenly reduced by 75% WITHOUT ADVANCE NOTICE. I wrote a polite and reasonable request to have my points reinstated that any respectable company would have honored. They replied with a smarmy response, and lied that they had sent an expiration reminder. It is just a sleazy way to get what they need without paying for it.
Hi Leslie,
Thanks for giving your honest opinion about erewards.
Eddy
I have had no problem with E-Rewards. I accumulated their currency fast. I have been rewarded with 2 Blockbuster used DVDS, $15.00 in Border Bucks which I used on 10/31/08, Magazine subscriptions. The only problem is that you can obtain the above-listed rewards once in a specific month period. In otherwords, I redemeed for borders bucks for october. I can’t redeem again until 6 or more months. The rewards are not all that great, but I got something out of it.
E-Rewards IS a SCAM. Do not fill out a survey. They have scammed me on many levels.
#1 – They tell you to fill out a survey and you may be compensated for the complete survey or part of it. The partial pay is a joke and sometimes you spend 20 minutes giving answers and then they tell you that you do not qualify.
#2 – I finally earned enough rewards for a Gamestop $25 Gift Card. After 4 months, they still claim they are waiting to get them in. 4 Months??? Soon it will be a half a year to wait for $25 – PUH-LEEEZ
BEWARE!
Hi Goldsheet,
Thanks for chiming in.
I’m glad your enjoying your rewards with this company.
I guess you do like the whole magazine subscription thing as a form of payment. So it makes sense why this company is appealing to you which is great.
But I wish they would follow the other companies out there and start paying cash or points that can be redeemed for cash.
I can’t tell you how much I use my http://www.GoMySurvey.com to buy things around the house using their gift certificate option. I redeem my points for amazon gift certificates and just buy things I would usually buy at the local store.
So for me I prefer having the flexibility of cash, gift certificate or prizes. So that’s my big knock on erewards otherwise they may be in my top list.
The one thing I give them is they do send a lot of surveys per month.
Thanks either way for the input. It’s always good to have both sides of the story on any opportunity.
Eddy
No problems at all with e-rewards. Surveys have been reasoanable, and I have had no problem redeeming for magazines (26 weeks of Wall Street Journal for $45 is a bargain) Also got subscriptions to American Photo
Blender, INC, Interview, Smithsonian, and Vibe. Even the $15 credit to Borders Rewards Card went through just fine.
Still have all my rewards, nothing has been deleted, so not everyone had their points expire.
Hi Denise,
Thank for your feedback. But I don’t think it’s fair to call the person that expressed a different opinion a liar.
One of the things I’ve noticed with many work at home opportunities is that we all experience different things. There have been opportunities where I’ve made money and loved the program but then there are folks that didn’t do well with it.
So sometimes it’s just a matter of different experiences. So let’s keep that in mind when we’re reading folks comments.
Now with that said, personally I still think it’s not worth giving this particular company a try. I think most people are better off with MySurvey and Synovate:
http://www.workathomenoscams.com/mysurvey_free_sign_up_link
http://www.workathomenoscams.com/synovate
Eddy
Don’t try this one. Someone on this site said it was good and they lied, It’s junk.
Are you serious?
That sucks. I find it out hard to believe that they wouldn’t provide some notification. Maybe they had an announcement in the members area rather than emailing folks. So if you haven’t logged in for a while you wouldn’t know. But even if that is the case that’s messed up.
I’m glad never wasted my time with them. I never liked their rewards system anyway. MySurvey is way better:

Yes, e-rewards is a scam. They recently changed there policy and expired EVERYBODIES rewards points without any notification. I sent a note to their customer service and they told me tough luck, I should’ve known about their change. This is a low class establishment and I would not waste my time with them.
